Do the Laws of Attraction Belong in Spirituality 2?

Written by Mathew Naismith

Sorry people for the mix up, I woke up this morning and had to revise my post I posted on my blog yesterday, I was somewhat rushed yesterday and not in my normal space as such.

It's approximately 36 hrs after I first posted this post on my blog, this is my third revision, this time mainly to do with with syntax errors. No one is perfect but what better way to learn than through actual experiences. No matter how imperfect you are, express yourself, actually, the more imperfect you are, the more you have to share because the more you have experienced, in other words, never try being perfect as you are a reflection of perfection by being imperfect through your valued imperfections!!

The way we use the laws of attraction: Again there is an ambiguous answer to this question because the question itself is ambiguous, is the question referring to the laws of attraction defined by a controlling ego or not?  This makes a huge difference in the way we use such laws, to me a controlling ego doesn’t belong in true spirituality/religion, but at times the ego is needed to grow in awareness, this is of course only viable if we don’t become too fixated to such traits in the first place.

I will again use doctors and nurses, in opposition to multinationals and politicians, to explain this topic, this is due to certain groups of people using the laws of attraction in quite a different way to other groups of people.

Could you imagine multinationals and politicians attracting what nurses and doctors attract? We certainly use the laws of attraction in different ways, this I feel is due to how controlling the ego is, could you imagine a doctor only attracting a certain clientele?  Actually this does happen but only when such people are primarily controlled by the ego, most doctors and nurses use the ego to help all who are ill, not just the one’s they desire to help.

When religion/spirituality becomes destructive, what happens to cause this?  At the moment we are experiencing religious fanatical fundamentalism, we can certainly say in this case such religious people  have become fanatical but why have they truly attracted such traits?  The law of attraction is defined by how we think, or more precisely, what we have allowed to control us to attract such extremist ideologies, what actually creates/attracts such extremism in the first place?

You cannot have extremist ideological views unless you are controlled by the ego, it’s the controlling factors of the ego that creates such extremism, a non-controlling ego cannot create or attract such traits, this is natural law. It would be nice if more of us were aware in how the controlling ego influences us to express such extremist ideological views but that isn’t the case. This is due to us being quite unaware in how such controlling egos influence us in how we use the laws of attraction.

An example; you have multinationals westerners on one side who express high degrees of egotism and on the other side you have religious extremists doing the same, everybody else is what’s called the meat between the sandwich, in other words everyone who isn’t controlled by the ego is between these two, what is called egomaniacs, thrashing it out. In this case, the law of attraction on a collective human scale is defined  and primarily influenced by controlling ego’s, this is all about the laws of attraction being used to influence/control the collective.

Using the laws of attraction egotistically in this way, in my mind, never belonged in spirituality/religion, it’s always attracted destruction. Now lets look at doctors and nurses again or even shamans and spiritual healers as a whole, they use the laws of attraction in quite a different way, this is all due to being aware of how controlling the go can be.  Yes, at times some doctors and spiritual healers can become primarily influenced by the controlling ego, however, it’s usually less likely for a true spiritual healer to be influenced by such egoistic traits than a doctor, this is primarily due to such people being aware of how controlling and influentially destructive the  controlling ego can be.

Now is a doctor or a spiritual healer  attracting ill people to primarily serve there own desires and even needs?  No, this is why the laws of attraction don’t belong in spirituality if influenced by a controlling ego, the ego will always influence us in this case to serve ourselves, to primarily serve our own desires. I see this happening so much in Westernised spirituality these day it’s not funny.

To me we need to be more aware in how we are using such laws, the new consciousness is to me all about being aware in how to constructively use such laws instead of misusing them, on the other hand the old consciousness is about demonizing everything not of our own personal ego.

How consciousness works: This brings us to how consciousness works, as a whole, and how the laws of attraction has everything to do with this consciousness, meaning, you can’t attract anything without consciousness.

Consciousness I feel works in this way,  the way we look at the world defines what reality we will create, by judging a wrong or a right, worthy or unworthy, only enhances such unworthiness, in other words it’s our reactions to anything we are  ignorant too that defines how unworthy or wrong something is going to be. Demonizing the controlling ego, for example, only enhances it’s effects, the controlling ego obviously has a place within consciousness otherwise it wouldn’t exist, so it’s worthy, this however doesn’t mean me shouldn’t be aware of it’s destructiveness.

Another good point to be aware of; is destruction less worthy than being constructive? Most people would probably say yes but it’s not, the destruction of our body when we pass on is as much a natural occurrence than being born. Basically everything  and everyone is worthy no matter how they express consciousness, things become more destructive only when we react and judge an unworthy. Could have Hitler or Genghis Khan been so destructive if they didn’t judge something unworthy, once the ego takes control, we attract destruction, this is natural law for all living things. This might sound stupid to some people, but could you imagine the sun being egotistical, it would try to take over the universe and destroy everything else within this process, even itself. In  other words the sun would only attract destruction by destroying everything within its path by seeing everything else as being unworthy to itself.

In the West, we see religious extremists as being unworthy, has this not enhanced their destructiveness?  This is how consciousness works especially when controlled by the ego, we will only attract what we see and judge. The funny thing is, consciousness works in a simular way to psychology, you create what you think and feel.

The psychology of the collective consciousness; is worth being aware of through observation as opposed to judgment, this is due to judgment being created through  bias observations instead of unbiased observations. This is like how helpful it is being  aware of our own mind psychologically without bias, as we become more aware of the collective mind/consciousness, the healthier we will become and the more constructive the reality we will create. Basically, by becoming aware of the collective mind/consciousness, the more we are treating the illness that creates such realities. Being aware of how the controlling ego influences in how we use the laws of attraction, is a good step in the right direction in my mind.

The Secrets We (All) Hold Within

Written by Mathew Naismith

“Oneness, there is no secrets from oneness for oneness is one because it’s  holding onto no secrets from itself,  it’s truth upon itself for this oneness holds no truth back from itself”.

Oneness is all about a consciousness being truthful to itself, it’s about holding no secrets from itself, within this consciousness, truth predominates consciousness. The opposite actually occurs within a consciousness that isn’t of this oneness, a fragmented consciousness, a reality of individual consciousness’s. As you could imagine, truth within such a consciousness isn’t going to predominate, actually quite the opposite in a sense!! In oneness you have truth, however, in a fragmented consciousness you have fragmented truths, there are no lies however, just un-whole truths. Within this, we (all), while consciously experiencing a reality like this one, hold on to secretes within.

I have knowingly, while experiencing certain cycles, withheld secrets within myself, I have not allowed myself to know certain secrets within. We all do this knowingly or unknowingly but why?

Could you, as an individual consciousness, express all parts of consciousness itself without being ignorant to these secrets? To express certain parts of consciousness, you need to be ignorant, for example, warring, we wouldn’t express this unless we were ignorant to these inner secrets we all hold within. Basically what we are doing here is holding back the truth to be able to express such consciousness and not just be aware of such conscious expressions. It all comes down to this one consciousness, that many of us call God, not just being aware of itself but expressive of itself.

This doesn’t mean this one consciousness (God) is warring, you can’t be expressive of warring if you are in a oneness state, you can however be expressive of warring if you are in an individual state of consciousness.  It’s the individuality of this one consciousness that is expressive of warring, not the oneness of this consciousness.

I have friends who are well connected spiritually who say I am special, even well connected spiritually aware people who I just meat tell me this. They are actually picking up on my awareness so they call me special. I laugh at this because how could one part of oneness be special and another part not and still be a part of this oneness? The thing is, we are all apart of this oneness with no exceptions. Special to me is people, or parts of consciousness, who are expressive of all of what consciousness is, it takes a very special consciousness to try to stay ignorant while being so expressive of all of what consciousness is. To me this is a very special reality, we are able to be expressive of all of what consciousness is, not just be aware of this but expressive of it.

I know a lot of other people think the opposite, this reality is this that or the other, it’s certainly not special to them. The thing is, you are supposed to think this otherwise how could you be as expressive of consciousness as you are?

A lot of people are also trying to find this oneness within a fragmented consciousness, you will never do this because oneness can only be found within oneness itself, it can’t be found in any other state of consciousness but a conscious state of oneness, this however doesn’t mean we shouldn’t try, actually we are supposed to. You can however find oneness within yourself while existing in a state of a fragmented consciousness, this can only be done if we are not expressive of this fragmented consciousness at the same time. Finding this oneness within, has everything to do with truth, not fragmented truth, in other words you have stopped holding onto your inner secrets that we all hold onto.

Basically oneness is all about truth in it’s whole form, once you find this within, you have no more secrets that you are withholding from yourself, you have basically freed yourself from ignorance. Once we free ourselves from ignorance, a chaotic  expressive consciousness can no longer exist within your consciousness.

Supplement: There are people out there who are far far more aware than I will ever be, I have no intentions of  becoming this aware, not while I am able to be expressive of all of what consciousness is and not just be aware of this consciousness. It’s far more special to me being expressive of all of what consciousness is than only being aware to it, this is a very special reality/world. The thing is, the more aware we become of how special this reality is, the less expressive we will be, the choice is certainly ours, however, how long are we going to be able to be as expressive as we are without these expressions destroying themselves? The wise move would be to become aware of how special this reality and all it’s individual consciousness’s are before such expressions destroy themselves, the strange thing is, this destruction is but another expression of this consciousness!!

Consciousness-WOW

Written by Mathew Naismith

WOW (Wholly and Overly Wonderful), what can I say, the further I allow myself to open up to consciousness in an unbiased way,  the more magnificent this consciousness seems to be. Yes, I'm allowing my emotions to take flight but this is at this moment helping me to delve even deeper into the magnificence of consciousness. This is wholly due to emotions being a big part of consciousness, emotions are one of the main reasons we are so expressive of consciousness itself.

Emotion; allow us to experience consciousness in every way possible, emotions are one of the biggest reasons consciousness itself is so expressive, could you imagine how consciousness would express itself without emotions? It's actually inconceivable, how would any consciousness period express itself without emotions? Emotions are obviously one of the primary reasons why consciousness can express itself so much, just think how many emotions humans can express and this is just at the human scale of things.

How many different languages are there? This is how many different ways we can be emotionally expressive but all we are doing is talking about the various languages here, what about the cultures that go with such languages and the climate they are in. Everything influence us to be a little different in our expressions of consciousness, as individuals we are being expressive of conciseness, as a culture or a nationality we are being even more expressive, as a species even more so, now what about the collective as a whole. It's utterly infinite in how expressive we can be of consciousness, consciousness itself is certainly WOW within it's own expressions.

Take how the moon, and astrology period, influences us to express consciousness, this is over and above other influences like language, culture, the country and climate we live in and so on. Everything around us and everything we are, influences us to express consciousness in a slightly different way to others. Now take in consideration of DNA, no one's DNA is the same, all this isn't just a different expression of consciousness itself, this difference also influences us to express consciousness differently to other conscious forms and formless energy sources.

Take living on a planet with more than one moon, how differently expressive would such conscious forms be to our own? Consciousness is infinite within it's own expression of itself, it has no boundaries or limits to how expressive it can be.

Oneness and illusions: An unbiased view isn't about judging certain consciousness states as being an illusion or not, wrong or right, it's about becoming aware of how expansive consciousness is within it's own expression of itself. To me, we are all an expression of consciousness no matter how infinite consciousness is expressive of it's own consciousness,  to us, all these numerous expressions of consciousness are an indication of a fragmented consciousness, a consciousness that has many different parts to itself. This of course to us seemingly has nothing to do with oneness.

What's actually being expressed, is it something other than consciousness? No, no matter how fragmented this consciousness seems within it's expressions of itself, it's still just an expression of consciousness. We could also say it's an expression of consciousness's, more than one consciousness which means a consciousness that is fragmented, not whole. This would be true but we are still only expressing a consciousness none the less.

We can express so many different kinds of emotions, they are certainly not all the same to us even though they are only an expression of a consciousness. Within our various ways of expressing emotions, we have created a reality of duality, this in turn influences us to be expressive of consciousness in numerous other ways, there seems to be  absolutely no oneness within such dualistic reality. Even though we are only expressive of a consciousness, each conciseness expresses itself differently, this seemingly has nothing to do with oneness.

Some people say that all physical realities are an illusion, others say all realities are an illusion and there are even people who say consciousness itself is an illusion, which perspective is correct here?  This is of course depends on what perspective we are looking from, in other words  in what direction are we perceiving what is and isn't an illusion? We of course are looking at what is and isn't an illusion through what is judged as an illusion in the first place. Look at this way, we are judging certain expressive forms of consciousness or consciousness period as an illusion, could we judged any part of consciousness being an illusion if we weren't expressing this consciousness in the first place?  We are relying on an illusionary expression to judge what is or isn't an illusion, we are doing the same with oneness, you can only truly judged what is and isn't oneness if you are in a true oneness state.

We can experience form and formlessness at the same moment, OBE's are a good example of this, we can also experience oneness and fragmentation at the same moment as we can be the observer observing our own interactions. We have deemed ourselves being only in a fragmented duality state of consciousness when at the same moment we are in a true oneness state. It all comes down to the illusion being the illusion itself, once you judge what is and isn't an  illusion, you have created the illusion when  illusions don't exist in the first place.

You could easily say that having illusions of illusion are an expression of an illusion, in other words thinking that physicality is all we are is an illusion. It is to us in our present perspective, however, in a more holistic perspective it's not, this is due to consciousness itself being expressive of it's whole self within it's entirety. In realities like this one, we are expressive of consciousness, in other realities they are also expressive of consciousness, when you look at all these expressions of this one consciousness as a whole, you become aware that each individual expression of this consciousness makes up a whole consciousness. This means no matter what we experience in any given reality, consciousness is whole because each expression makes consciousness itself whole.

Now look at what is and isn't an illusion and what is and isn't oneness?  As soon as you judged what is and isn't an illusion and oneness, you are being entrapped within your own illusions of illusions. No matter how you express consciousness, each singular expression makes up a whole consciousness. Could you imagine a true oneness consciousness judging one part of it's expressive self as an illusion, once it did this. it's no longer of this oneness, however, judging what is and isn't an illusion is also another expression of consciousness that gives this consciousness it's wholeness, it's oneness, go figure!!

Ego: Yes, the ego is but an expression of consciousness, however this isn't saying that consciousness is controlled by the ego, this is saying expressing the ego is but another expression of consciousness. Most of us are expressive of the controlling factors of the ego, this means the ego controls us, this is but an expression of consciousness that we have chosen to express. Yes, all emotions are of the ego but not all emotions are controlled by the ego, the controlling factors of the ego change how we express this consciousness. This is why we need to be aware of what we judge as being wrong or right, positive or negative, after all, it's all but an expression of consciousness.

Now at any point should we control the ego to stop the ego being in control off us?

When we become too destructive, it's probably wise to become less controlled by the ego, in other words less expressive of the controlling factors of the ego, at this point we feel we need to take control of the ego instead of the ego taking control of us. We should consider here what control denotes, what expression of consciousness needs to always have control?  A controlling ego of course, by trying to take control of the ego is being expressive of the controlling ego. Try instead of letting go of control, trust me, most of us will have problems with this only because of the controlling factors of the ego. If you have to have control over anything, you are still expressive of a controlling ego, most of us are including myself at times, this is due to influencing factors within our environment as explained earlier on in this post.

One of the main influencing expressions of consciousness is a controlling ego in this reality, it's a part of this reality, the trick is when to completely let go of control all together. This is difficult to do because everything around us influences us, mainly to be controlling, we want to control instead of being controlled, the funny thing is, the more control we think we have, the less control we actually have, this is due to being controlled by a singular expression of consciousness like a controlling ego, we are still being controlled in this case.

Consciousness is certainly WOW (Wholly and Overly Wonderful) without a doubt but only when you become aware of what consciousness actually is. It's not this that and the other, no matter how we express it, it's still just consciousness.

Our Wondrous Collective Consciousness

Written by Mathew Naismith

Consciousness can be expressed in infinite ways, look at how differently expressive we are to each other and this is just in a physical reality, what about how different consciousness is beyond physical realities, it's seemingly insurmountable for us to perceive. This to me is due to physicality stopping us from perceiving beyond certain fixed boundaries,  in other words physicality has made it difficult to perceive past physical realities, this isn't done by accident though, there is a purpose to this as there is of everything of what consciousness is.

There are certain states of conscious awareness one can get into that shows everything we are and everything we are able to be expressive of,  this includes the infinite ways we can exist. In this state, we realise we are of everything of what consciousness is either it be expressive of motion or of motionless, either it be of physicality or of something else, this is a true state of oneness. This is all due to not separating motion from motionless, physicality from spirituality which is in reference to a non-physical form or a formless existence. Is true oneness separating one part of consciousness from the other?  No, true oneness is the realisation that everything of consciousness is just that, it's of one consciousness no matter how it's expressed.

A lot of us would like to think this oneness is a state of motionlessness, a total harmonious state of stillness, however, how can we  be in total oneness when we  exclude certain parts of how consciousness is expressed? Yes we can judge what is and what isn't an illusion, this allows us to judge what true oneness is or isn't. What we are not getting away from here is judgement, judging something an illusion is judging a wrong as opposed to a right way to exist when there is no true right or wrong way to exist in the first place. Yes, we can observe what's a wrong way to exist, this is usually a destructive chaotic existence as opposed to  harmonious constructive existence but what are we expressive of here when judging this so?  Physicality,  physicality refers to satisfaction of physical drives and appetites, it serves us to perceive what is and isn't an illusion and what is a true oneness state.

When you observe consciousness as a whole without judging a wrong or right, an illusion or a non-illusion, we get to see a different picture of what true oneness is, it's being in a state that is aware that consciousness as a whole, no matter how it's expressed, is still consciousness.

Let's now take a look at this physical reality, could we be expressive of consciousness in a physical way if we were in this true oneness state?  We should be aware here, that while in this oneness state, we are aware of all other ways to exist and all other ways we have existed.  Once consciousness is aware of all it is, being expressive of consciousness in a physical way would be impossible, in other words our unawareness of our whole existence has made it possible to be expressive of consciousness is such away. Now exclude consciousness itself being able to be expressive of itself in a physical way, you no longer have a true state of oneness once you exclude any part of expressing this consciousness in anyway.

What is actually being stated here is, consciousness can be expressive of motion in the same exact moment that it expresses motionless, this is because consciousness itself as a whole is not only influenced by physicality but by spirituality as well, a state of non-physical form or of total formlessness. Again this consciousness can be of form and or formlessness at the same exact moment, this is very difficult for us to perceive because we are predominantly influenced by physicality,  this means we are predominately influenced by satisfaction of physical drives and appetites.

What happens to us when we experience an OBE, are we not, at the same exact moment, expressive of physical and non-physical form?  When we remember an OBE, we are aware at the physical mind level and the spiritual mind level in that present moment.

We are all expressive of OBE's, in other words everyone experiences OBE's so why don't we remember them? Physicality, our physical minds are unable to remember such experiences because we are only fixated to our  satisfaction of physical drives and appetites in one way or another. This means we are unable to perceive being able to be in form and in a formless state in the same exact moment. When you look down at your own body (form) while experiencing an OBE, you are at that exact same moment expressive of form and of formlessness. OBE's to me quite clearly show that we can be expressive of form and formlessness at the same moment, this also shows that consciousness is only in a true oneness state when it's also expressive of all of what it is. This of course takes this consciousness to be expressive of motion and motionless states at the same exact present moment.

Becoming an observer also shows us that we can indeed participate and observe in the same present moment, observing your own participation is simular to OBE's, you can consciously observe your own consciousness being expressive of consciousness itself, this is how consciousness can be of form and of formlessness at the same exact present moment. Like OBE's, we are all observing our own expressions of consciousness in physical form, and like OBE's, most of us don't remember being an observer but we all are, we are all in total observing how expressive we are of consciousness in physical form, in other words everyone is observing their physical expressions of consciousness with absolutely no exceptions.

So why don't we all become aware of our own observations? This is simple, would we be as expressive of consciousness if we were aware of our own observations?  Our own awareness would influence the way we express such consciousness taking away any true oneness of this consciousness, we are, in our present awareness, a true expression of oneness. This is very hard for us to perceive as it's hard for us to perceive being in form and in a formless state at the same exact moment.

It is quite obvious we are supposed to become aware, this too is but another expression of consciousness that makes consciousness itself of a true oneness state.

The Magnificence of Consciousness

Written by Mathew Naismith

These are the kinds of posts I don't mind writing and not just because we judged them as being positive, what's most important to me is they bring different perspectives to the fore. The different perspective in this case is to do with the many various expressions of consciousness. Consciousness is infinite within it's expression, it is indeed by all rights magnificent within all of it's expressions. This post is no different in that it's one of numerous expressions that is neither right or wrong, it's but another expression of this consciousness which gives us a different perceptive of this consciousness, our own consciousness.

Different Expressions of Consciousness: In my last post I wrote about evil intent, this is but one of many expressions of this consciousness that many of us would judge as being one thing or another, in other words wrong or right, positive or negative. The controlling ego thrives on this kind of perspective that everything has to have a right and wrong, this is in accordance with our own expressions of consciousness, our own perspectives.

Recently same sex marriage have been on the agenda again, people can't help loving someone even of the same sex, has anyone in the world got the right to tell another person who and who they can't love?  This is a very good point, is it not also a good point when people can't help loving more than one person at a time, who has the right to tell anyone they can't love more than one partner at any given time. But all what's on the agenda is same sex marriage, this is one expression of consciousness excluding and even ignoring another expression of consciousness with the same dilemma, you are not allowed to marry who you want to love.

Again we are judging what is a right and wrong way to express this consciousness, this is brought about by only being accepting of our own expression of consciousness which mostly exclude any other expression of consciousness. This is usually in accordance with our ideologies, again, each ideology is but one of numerous expressions of consciousness, one isn't right or right, worthy or unworthy, they are just different expressions of the same consciousness.

Oneness: Now this is interesting, each expression of consciousness is an expressions of the same consciousness, the exact same consciousness no matter how different this consciousness is expressed. This is the oneness, to me it's not some halleluiah realm or state of consciousness above all other expressions of consciousness, this is due to no matter what we express, or even don't express, it's still consciousness, this oneness.

Another good point to be aware of is, you might think that to have consciousness you need motion, consciousness is created by motion but not all of consciousness moves or vibrates. The funny thing is, the more aware you become, the less you react (move),  so the more aware you become the less you vibrate, this infers a true oneness state has no motion to it. When I say consciousness is created by motion, I mean it creates a consciousness that reacts to itself, all motion was created by consciousness but this motion of consciousness creates an endless stream of reactions, an infinite expressions of consciousness.

You might still think this oneness state has to have motion, it has to vibrate to exist, this is due to everything that exists has to vibrate but it's interesting what causes this vibration to start with. Observation, as soon as we observe, we cause a vibration through the act of observing, however, once we stop being the observer to interact with such vibrating (motion) consciousness, we create numerous expressions of this one consciousness from initially being the observer.

Non-interactive State: Now go the other way from an observing point of view, in other words instead of interacting from the observer point of view and becoming interactive with consciousness, go the other way, what do we have, what state of consciousness are we talking about, is it interactive or non-interactive?  It of course has to be non-interactive, this means consciousness can also be non-interactive from an observing point of view.

How do you observe non-interaction,  a consciousness that has no motion what so ever?

The point is you can't observe a non-interactive consciousness, this seems to infer that consciousness doesn't exist within this non-interactive states, only through observing interactive expressions of consciousness can consciousness exist. This isn't true however, to me this is due to a non-interactive state being of absolute awareness without being the observer. Think on this, why would an absolute aware consciousness want to observe itself when it's already totally aware without observing itself and in the process interacting with numerous expressions of itself? At this non-interactive state, observing itself has no purpose as it's already fully aware of itself.

This is what so magnificent about this one consciousness, it can be non-interactive, it can also be the observer and it can be interactive with it's numerous expressions of itself simultaneously in the very present, the magnificence of this consciousness is astounding. This magnificence is exemplified a thousand times when you consider we are talking about the same exact consciousness no matter how it expresses or doesn't express itself.

Connection: I'm going to touch on a few more thing here. Now I said in my last post that by just laughing I dispelled what we deem as entities with evil intent, this sounds ridiculous until you realise how magnificently this consciousness works. Entities with deemed evil intent exist in a highly interactive expression of consciousness, this infers that such expressive states of consciousness are unaware especially in relation to a non-interactive state of consciousness. Everyone can at anytime connect to this non-interactive totally aware state of consciousness, this is due to the fact we are after all only talking about one consciousness here, there is no reason why you can't access/connect to your own consciousness unless you are unaware of how this one consciousness works, how your own consciousness works in other words.

I would also like to once again touch on the difference between observing the different expressions of  consciousness to judging different expressions of  consciousness. Voicing an observation relates to not judging a wrong or right, worthy or unworthy, however, judgement always refers to a wrong or right, worthy or unworthy, it's worth being aware of this.

I still to this day express numerous expressions of consciousness at any given time, this means I don't judge expressing egotistically controlled straits as any less or more worthy or wrong than an expression of consciousness not controlled by the ego. Is it wrong to be egotistically controlled than a non-egotistically controlled state?  A lot of people would say yes but all you are doing in this is being aware of one part of this one consciousness. Like with this one consciousness itself for which you are, you can be non-interactive, the observer or interactive simultaneously, once you realise this you can connect to any part of this consciousness at any given time within the present moment, the choice is yours. You can only do this if you don't judge what is right and what is wrong, once you judge a right and wrong way to express consciousness, you lose the connection.

The Question of Taking Action or Not

Written by Mathew Naismith

Consciousness is very volatile and is susceptible to movement from other conscious sources, this is because all of what is, is actually consciousness or created from consciousness, this includes everything man has created himself. The universe I believe is a creation of consciousness, that is why the universe and everything within this universe reacts to each other. The more physical the consciousness is, the more volatile and susceptible it becomes from other sources of consciousness, this is due to all physical forms created from pure conscious being unenlightened from an enlightened state of consciousness. The more a consciousness is enlightened, the less volatile and susceptible it is and visa-versa to other sources of consciousness.

It's virtually impossible for an unenlightened state to not move, in other swords take action, this is due to such unenlightened states being volatile and susceptible to other conscious sources. These other sources of consciousness can quite easily influence an unenlightened state so such an unenlightened state reacts which of course causes further reaction. You drop a pebble in the water and it causes movement in the form of ripples, now in another part of the water drop another pebble, the reaction is instantaneous,  ripples from the second pebble counteract the ripples from the first pebble. To stop such ripples effecting our own ripples, we keep reacting, in other words we keep dropping pebbles in the water to counteract ripples from other pebbles dropped in the water, we soon end up with a lot of chaotic disturbance on the surface of the water.

Now before we dropped these pebbles in the water, the surface of the water was still and tranquil, the water was still moving but under it's own force. An unenlightened source of consciousness unaware of such stillness, disrupts this flow by taking action causing an endless stream of reactions as in the pebbles. I see man as these pebbles, instead of gently placing the stones in the water, we basically plunge ourselves into the water time and time again in reaction, this of cause causes the water to become chaotic. To me this reality is very much like the water, it has become chaotic but if we stopped reacting and plunging ourselves into this water, the water would eventually become still again.

It's very hard for an unenlightened consciousness to stop reacting, this is mainly caused by a controlling ego instead of a non-controlling ego. A controlling ego needs to take action but a consciousness that's not controlled by the ego, doesn't see a reason to change the stillness of the water for any purpose for what better purpose is there than to exist in tranquillity!!

By placing the pebbles in the water instead of dropping them, is this not an action or a reaction still?

When you are causing no or little disturbance to the water, can you still call this an action or reaction, what action is there in this?

An action is defined by a reaction, if there is no reaction, no actual action took place even when we have movement, this is because it's a very passive movement. This is saying that not  all movement is in relation to an action or reaction until it causes a reaction. If I was to react to the water, I would drop the pebble in the water, if I didn't want a reaction I would gently place the stone in the water causing no reaction at all. All consciousness works  the same, if we want a reaction, we drop or throw the stone in the water, if not, we place it in the water. Consciousness reacts very much like the water, it too is volatile and susceptible to active movement, this is because water is also consciousness.

A lot of spiritual practices teach us to quieten the mind, is this an action and/or a reaction?

It's a reaction if we are reacting for a purpose or an intention, an intention to quieten the mind to rid ourselves of undesirability's of some kind, this is likened to dropping the pebble in the water. It's not an action or a reaction if we are just quietening the mind for no purpose or intention, this is likened to placing the pebble in the water.

So many Western spiritual practice these days are about taking firm action to rid ourselves of some kind of undesirability, this is wholly counteractive to quietening the mind. Quietening the mind means taking no actions.

When we quieten the mind, doesn't this cause a reaction, don't we become more passive and understanding, is this not a reaction?

What happens to the water when we no longer drop the pebbles in the water but place them in the water? The water becomes quietened through placing the pebbles in the water, instead of dropping them, which causes no or little reaction, the flow of the water becomes quietened again. Quietening the mind is very much like this. I should point out here, the pebble belongs in the water as we belong in realities like this one. We are consciousness existing in consciousness, we don't belong anywhere else just like the pebbles in the water.

There is no action or reaction taking place when you are aware of where you are supposed to be, a quiet mind is where we are supposed to be as opposed to a noisy mind. An enlightened mind is not noisy, actually it's quite tranquil and still where's an unenlightened mind is noisy and chaotic. We are not meant to drop the pebble in the water but place the pebble in the water causing very little reaction in the process.

By taking firm action, we are not going with the natural flow of the water, the natural process of the subtle movement by consciousness in it's natural form, every action and reaction changes this natural movement of consciousness and turns it into something chaotic.

Reawakening from Sleep

Written by Mathew Naismith

I had a good internet friend of mine bring forth some interesting queries and questions in relation to my last post, I thought I would share them with you with my reply and follow up response.

Mathew, thanks for such a great post -  profound and thought provoking . So many things have popped into my head! I find the idea of going with the flow appealing  as a way of continually evolving without reacting to the friction of everyday setbacks. I'm also wondering if going with the flow can be compatible with manifesting desires . . and are reactions our teachers . . .? It would be nice to have that serenity though!

Thanks Carolyn, any kind of awakening is certainly thought provoking.

Desires and manifesting are tricky, usually there reactions to a circumstance which in turn creates further reactions. Have you seen the movie the fifth element with Bruce Willis and Milla Jovovich. When this dark matter appeared, humans reacted to it and the more they reacted, the bigger the mass got, this was pure consciousness and this is how consciousness itself works.

When we see a threat to our serenity, what do we do? We react which causes the threat to expand even more, the trick is to not react, this is not easy to do.

We actually don't have to manifest or desire anything as it's already there, it's just we are unaware of this. Serenity has always been there, we are just unaware of this.

"Are reactions our teacher", a very good thought, yes but only if we are going to learn from them, otherwise they just become a continuous nightmare. An unenlightened consciousness can become entrapped within this nightmare but this can only happen if we are asleep, in other words not awakened (enlightened).

What if man met this dark mass with love in the movie the fifth element instead of aggression, you might like to think this dark mass would just go away but consciousness doesn't work like this, any kind of reaction/ recognition actually endorses such dark consciousness, this dark mass would continue to consume Earth.

A true enlightened state, an awakened consciousness, is another matter, this consciousness doesn't see a dark mass but only consciousness. This dark mass only becomes consciousness because there is no right or wrong, dark or light, only the ego sees it as this.

We humans only see serenity as opposed to chaos, an enlightened consciousness only sees a consciousness being expressed. Basically everything becomes light only because of the extent of our awareness in a true enlightened state from an unenlightened state. This is the same when we turn the light on in a dark room, we become aware of everything the light shines on, however, a true enlightened state actually negates light and dark, everything is known without a reaction, like turning on a light, mainly because nothing is being obscured from such awareness.

When we get to this stage of enlightenment, there is no chaos or serenity, only consciousness reacting with itself creating a light and dark, right and wrong, serenity and chaos. This can only happen when a consciousness is in an unenlightened state, asleep in other words.

We have come to the point now, is this unenlightened, asleep state, an illusion, is time and the species man an illusion? It is very easy to perceive so, our own dreams are not real when excluding OBE's and foretelling dreams, they are illusion dreamt up by our subconscious or are they?

Excluding OBE's and foretelling dreams, what creates our dreams? The subconscious, an unawakened state of consciousness, what controls  this state of consciousness? The subconscious, is the subconscious real? You might think not but it is, our dreams are physically induced by real circumstances in our every day lives, this makes our dream very real in a psychological sense.

Now let's look at the dream we are all experiencing in this unenlightened state, this reality, because it's a dream it's an illusion to a lot of people when in fact it's not, it works similarly to our own dreams, we are basically experiencing the psychological effects from our enlightened self except it's more an imagination from the enlightened self  rather than dreams brought on by psychological trauma for example.

Which state of consciousness is more real, a consciousness that is also physical or a completely nonphysical consciousness? In an enlightened state, there is only consciousness no matter how this consciousness is being expressed or experienced, again there is no right or wrong, dark or light. Which expression of consciousness is an illusion again?  Once again there is no illusion and non-illusion, all there is, is consciousness.

There is only one truly enlightened consciousness, does this make the presumed separation of different unenlightened consciousness's an illusion when there can only be one consciousness?

Again this is like the dreams we have, they are mostly psychologically educed by actual experiences but it's still an expression of consciousness, just because we are an expression of our enlightened self, doesn't mean such imaginary expressions are an illusion. No matter how consciousness expresses itself, it's still consciousness and if it's consciousness it's real but not in the sense we perceive real. Real to us is the perception of dark and light, wrong and right, illusion and non-illusion, one or the other has to be real or right, this is how an unenlightened state of consciousness thinks, this isn't the same when in an enlightened state for there is no separation of consciousness, there is only consciousness even when it expresses itself in a physical way.

There is only one consciousness but no matter how this one consciousness is expressed, it's still consciousness. It's funny to think all these expressions of consciousness in unenlightened states are from one consciousness, this means when we become truly enlightened, awakened, we become this one consciousness. This is very difficult for an obvious separate expression of consciousness to comprehend and quite understandably so, this is because we feel we are expressions of separate consciousness, not various expressions from one consciousness.

The best way to comprehend this is to think of your own dreams, how many expressions of consciousness can you imagine or create within your own dreams, how many people appear in your dreams? This is no different from this one single truly enlightened consciousness, no matter what this consciousness creates, it's still an expression of it's own consciousness, it's still consciousness no matter what.

The question is, are we one consciousness or separate consciousness's and the answer is yes, just like our own dreams, every single expression of consciousness within our dreams is who we are, the expression of our enlightened self is exactly the same. There is only one consciousness, but, this one consciousness expresses itself in many different ways just like we do in relation to our own dreams.

Evolutionary Consciousness

Written by Mathew Naismith

I recently realised that what I have always been writing about was beyond a non-evolutionary consciousness, a consciousness that doesn't want to change, this change of course takes one to let go of any present fixations to existing ideological concepts. I have changed the title of this blog for exactly this reason form The World of True Spiritual Acceptance to Evolutionary Consciousness. Allow yourself to evolve.

To me the best way to become aware is to take notice of the very environment you are presently existing in, in other words the very environment you are presently experiencing in the now. If you have taken notice of this environment, most of everything evolves including human consciousness, the human species alone has experienced numerous conscious changes in Earths history, if this didn't occur, we would be still throwing rocks at each other.

You might say throwing rocks at each other is a lot better than throwing nuclear missiles at each other, it would seem all what human evolutionary changes have given us is destruction and chaos, this is obviously true but why is it true?

Humans within their mentality are like the crocodile/alligator, the mentality of humans has evolved very little over time in Earths history, humans still have the mentality of an aggressive hunter.

Let's now look at how the birds have evolved over time, some of them still have this aggressive hunting instinct, to an extent, but most birds have evolved from this state of existence. This is from a state where most birds were highly aggressive within their hunting instincts, they even looked the part. Birds themselves have visually changed quite dramatically in their evolution unlike the crocodile/alligator, you could say this of humans, they too have visually changed but quite in the opposite direction to birds I believe. Does a soldier, a riot policeperson or a hoodlum look any less threatening today than a cave man holding a rock? Actually they are more threatening than ever and a lot more deadlier, a rock may kill one person but a nuclear missile or a gun can kill many at any given time.

This is the same with consciousness, every time humans have gone through a conscious change, they have used that change in a violent way, take the industrial revolution and the iron age for example, both these ages of changing consciousness have been used to fuel our aggressive instinctive mentalities.

I find this is the same with non-evolutionary ideological concepts and beliefs of old, this is the be and end all, you follow this particular titled ideology and you can't go wrong. The problem with such mentalities is other ideologies and beliefs are therefore wrong in comparison. The other problem is we have numerous titles and names that have to fit within a certain slot, this is of course is going to create chaos and conflicts between these titles and names.

I channel, I have no titles or names of who or what is channelling through me, it makes no difference except to the ego self, this ego self I feel is of the old consciousness mentality that we are obviously having trouble in letting go of.

I have most often mentioned Jesus, Buddha in my posts, they too are of the old consciousness. The reason why they are still relevant is because we have not evolved, sadly enough they are still relevant today when they shouldn't be I feel. I think these very special people would love to be totally forgotten and not referred to in anyway because this would mean we have evolved.

To me it's sad that we need to keep referring back to old texts to find balance within our lives, this doesn't mean they are wrong or irrelevant, they are quite appropriate to a consciousness of old, however,  the continuation of using such texts and consciousness shows a consciousness that is having trouble evolving in my mind.

We should learn from our environment and be more like the bird than the crocodile/alligator and blossom into a beautiful creature just like the bird.

Going Beyond Our Conscious Understandings

Written By Mathew Naismith
I was recently confronted with a query from my mother in-law; it would seem she values my opinion in regards to spiritual matters especially concerning spiritual healing. My mother in-law isn’t sure how to respond to spiritual healers as she has two spiritual healers related to her who wish to help her, however, she’s not into spiritual healing at all so her response to her relatives isn’t very favourable at all. This can be a complex issue and hard to comprehend if one has never witnessed actual spiritual healing processes.

The best way to look at this issue is to explain that everything vibrates, in other words everything was created from various vibrational frequencies, now if this is the case, it makes sense how one vibration can indeed affect another vibration. Music is a very good example, if we weren’t vibrating, how would different music affect us in different ways? The thing is, different music does indeed affect us differently, this is because we are also made up out of various vibrational frequencies, it’s basically one vibration having an effect upon another vibration, spiritual healing is no different.

For anyone not able to perceive that we are made up out of vibrational frequencies, this is still going to be hard to comprehend, I think this I due to not being able to perceive past our present conscious understanding.

Recently I was in conversation with other spiritually aware people who were reciting from old texts, they were still following trusted and proven teachings, no matter what I said, they could not perceive past their present conscious understanding, actually they just didn’t want to, this was very much in line with my mother in-law. It’s not easy trying to comprehend in a different way, especially in relation to your own conscious understanding we are familiar with.

So what is wrong with these old teachings?

There is nothing wrong with them, they served our present consciousness quite well but will they serve any newer consciousness we come across just as well? Yes and no, my mother in-law is of the old school thinking, you can’t heal people unless it’s through physical means, this is quite understandable because it’s all they know and it did indeed work at times.

Let’s look at the progression of science over time to get a better understanding here. Science evolved from philosophy and mysticism to general science over time, this was a huge step, but now we have newer sciences that a lot of people into general science are unable or wanting to comprehend, this new science is quantum physics. To comprehend quantum physics takes a different conscious understanding which can be for, some people, be way beyond general science understandings; this is due to quantum physics being of a different consciousness than general science, philosophy and mysticism. You could easily say quantum physics is a part of this new consciousness that the Mayans predicted would occur.

To properly understand these new teachings properly, one must be able to become detached from there old teachings, in this case various general science concepts; to me this is no different to becoming detached from old spiritual teachings. This however doesn’t mean all old spiritual teachings become null and void in a new consciousness, like quantum physics, a lot of the old teachings are adapted to fit within this new consciousness, this automatically occurs when taking on and accepting a new way to consciously perceive but only if we detach ourselves from old conscious understandings.

Actually, as we become more accepting of a new consciousness, a lot of the old teachings from the old consciousness change their meaning, in other words we will decipher them differently in the new consciousness, however a lot of old teachings will also have to go to be able to take on any new consciousness’s. We of course don’t have to do this if we don’t want to, we don’t have to evolve like the rest of the universe, this is our right.

The Tranquil Observer

Written by Mathew Naismith

I had the following reply in relation to my last post, “I wish I can be there..... because I love your way and I want it”. This is very understandable, who wouldn’t mind being a tranquil observer; however this isn’t who I am all the times, this is because I tend to most often go with the flow of the moment even if that means being a little chaotic within myself, this is because I don’t judge one state of consciousness being any less worthy than another to experience.  This is important in becoming a tranquil observer,  I  don’t look at consciousness as being about opposing opposites in anyway but consciousness eternally complimenting itself; this also means the chaos within consciousness.

Before I go on the following was my reply to this person.

G’day Jackson
Become the observer; it’s easier that you might think Jackson as the two links I supplied will explain, As usual I have given two different aspects of becoming an observer, one is psychologically based and the other spiritually based, the reason I do this is our mentality has everything to do with how we will apply in being an observer, in other words it’s important that we have an understanding of our own mentality before trying to become an observer.

Extract: Almost twenty years ago, Gavin de Becker wrote The Gift of Fear (link is external), in an effort to warn and educate us about being more observant and aware. He encouraged us to look around and to listen to that that "inner voice," which is really our limbic brain telling us to be careful that something is wrong.

Extract: The lesson to become the observer has a much wider application. If we’re to leave behind everything associated with the Third Dimension, then we must have reached a place of completion with everything connected with it. And being the observer is a wonderful way of practicing completion and detachment from it.

I’m not at peace all the times Jackson mainly because this is what I choose to do, however, I can at a drop of a hat go into a total tranquil state only because I can become the observer at the drop of a hat. A lot of people don’t realise, to be in a tranquil state you have to be an observer, they go hand in hand, you can’t have one without the other.

Give it a shot my friend, you have nothing to lose.

Observer and Tranquil Observer:There is a difference between an observer and a tranquil observer, an observer will still see opposing opposites but a tranquil observer will only see consciousness complimenting itself that is all, this means accepting chaos complimenting order, love complimenting hate and so on. To be a true tranquil observer, you can’t desire love over hate or visa-versa, this is because any attachments at all lessons our ability to become a tranquil observer.  A tranquil observer means just being an observer without any attachments what so ever. This of course isn’t easy within our present mentality, it has to be one or the other, in other words we have to become attached to hate over love or love over hate, there is no middle ground for us.

There is of course a middle ground, a true balance of opposing opposites; this middle ground is of course being a tranquil observer without any attachments to one thing over another.

Does this mean the tranquil observer doesn’t, or more precisely, can’t love or hate?

What does a tranquil observer denote, in other words what does one feel when they are truly tranquil?  Peaceful and composed comes to mind, a tranquil state of consciousness also signifies acceptance of whatever is, this is very much in line in going with the flow instead of against it. When we have attachments, we will do anything to keep that attachment which usually means going against the flow, a tranquil observer doesn’t have this problem; there is no problem to start with because there are no attachments.

So getting back to the question, can tranquil observers love or hate? To start with there is no question of love or hate because there are no opposing opposites, only complimenting consciousness, the question of love or hate doesn’t come into it. If you can understand this, this kind of mentality has more to do with non-duality, there are no opposing opposites just complimenting consciousness, duality on the other hand is all about opposing opposites.

Do I love? Yes off course, this is an acceptable part of being in a conscious reality of duality but when I have such attachments, I am quite aware I am no longer being a tranquil observer, an impartial observer; I once again become a part of the chaos again due to my partial (bias) mentality.

Everyone in my mind can become, at times, a tranquil observer; all what one has to do is release yourself of all your attachments within that moment of being a tranquil observer.  Is it worth being a tranquil observer for even a short period of time?  I can’t begin to explain the benefits of doing this, you become more aware of your connectedness to universal knowledge for starters, this on its own is utterly mind blowing. The most beautiful thing of learning to be a tranquil observer I feel is you can feel the most heart pounding love through your connectedness through duality, however, you can also, if you wish, feel the most dreadful horrifying hate as well, this after all is what duality is about, consciousness complimenting itself not opposing itself.

I think there might be a few people who see the connection to this post and my last post; you can begin to see how such states of consciousness, like what we deemed as being God’s and Goddesses, have worked through the ages, in my mind it’s all to with just seeing a complimenting consciousness, not an opposing opposite consciousness. This of course isn’t easy to comprehend only because of our fixated attachments, the consciousness of God’s and Goddesses don’t have this problem I feel.  If we truly want to help ourselves, we need to become aware of this, become the God within ourselves and start creating the reality we truly need to create.

Don’t underestimate yourselves through fixated transitory attachments, become the eternal self.

The Observing Consciousness

Written By Mathew Naismith

This is why I love other people’s perspective; I found the following statement quite interesting especially in relation to what it was pertaining too.

“There is no god but man. Humanity fails Humanity through conditioning.”

An interesting perspective.

This depends on what we deem as God, the God of man in a religious sense to me is saying man is inferior to an observer, a creator we call God, why are we inferior to something deemed as being divine? Ignorance, I feel if we weren’t so ignorant to our own divine nature, we would realise we are this God.

In my early days I experienced ghosts on a number of occasions so a consciousness exists beyond our state of ignorance for me without a doubt, now we are only talking about a conscious entity that still has fixations to realities of duality, what would conscious entities beyond realities of duality seem like to  ignorant beings? To anything ignorant, these aware and enlightened entities will seem divine and that is fair enough except ignorance is obviously destructive. We can’t keep endlessly destroying so we need to become aware of our own true nature which to me is of this consciousness beyond our ignorance we call God.

To me God isn’t a man or some kind of being/entity, God is a conscious state void of ignorance, concepts and beliefs, anything like this is going to seem divine to anything ignorant to its true nature for a very good reason.

Why do I think we are this God? Ghosts who still have attachments to realities of duality become the observer to a certain extent; now what would an observer who has no such attachments observe? Probably the entirety of all of what is, being an observer also means to be aware through observation. How many times do our guides/ past loved one’s try to influence us and do most often influence us?  At this point we are still only talking about an entity that still has attachments to realities of duality, how would a consciousness beyond attachments (duality) influence us?

In simple terms, I think God is an observer; it’s a consciousness beyond any kind of ignorance or attachments, the point is we can all become this observer, this consciousness beyond ignorance and attachments.  To any consciousness living in ignorance, is this observer going to seem divine?  It’s undoubtedly quite expected.

If we think on this, what do scientist do? They firstly observe and then they secondly become aware and thirdly often manipulate or influence what they firstly observed, this is man being God through simple observations. Now through these simple observations what has man manipulated/ influenced around him? This manipulation/influencing through observation are on very tiny scale especially when compared to the rest of the universe, what would an observing consciousness observing the universe as a whole manipulate/influence?

In psychology and spirituality, we are often taught to become the observer, how often do psychologists and spiritualists manipulate/influence other people and environment? Doctors and nurses are another good example of this. The point is, to one extent or another we are observers, the less of an observer you are, the less you will become aware of and the less manipulative/influential you will be. God to me is just an observing consciousness way beyond our ignorant understanding.  Would Neanderthals see us as God’s? Most probably, how we can create fire in so many ways would absolutely flaw them for starters, would we not ourselves be flawed by a much more aware conscious observer? It was inevitable we were going to go down this road, is it a bad or good thing that we define this more aware conscious observer as a divine being?

The problem in idolising something more aware than ourselves, is we will never see ourselves as this more aware observer, this can become quite destructive if we don’t become aware of ourselves being this observer ,remembering, there is truly only one consciousness as all consciousness is interconnected.  Ghosts are a good example of this interconnectedness, even when someone passes on (dies) they are still expressing a form of consciousness, they are still very much connected.

There is however a very good point to idolising, it’s a good sign we have become aware of a more aware observing consciousness, all we need to do with this awareness is act on it, know that we are ourselves observers and the more aware we become of being an observer, the more of an observer we will be.

So why doesn’t this conscious observer we call God influence us to become more constructive, why doesn’t this conscious observer save us from ourselves, our own ignorance?

Not all observing consciousness’s influence their environment, when observing a park or beautiful scenery, do we always influence what we observe?  In a peaceful state of tranquillity it is unlikely we will influence anything we are observing even if it’s destructive and chaotic like man, being void of attachments, concepts and beliefs is being in a pure tranquil state. Now it’s unlikely this pure tranquil state of consciousness is going to influence the course of man unless it’s in a very subtle way.  This is like going to a park and observing there is rubbish on the ground, when we pick this rubbish up and throw it in the bin, we are subtly influencing through our own observations.

I certainly don’t believe in the wrath of God, no tranquil consciousness is going to express any form of wrath, we can however influence our own environment to the extent it reacts in a violent way thus we have the wrath of God.  This makes perfect sense because being observers ourselves; we are indeed acting like God’s, in a sense, we are causing our own wrath upon ourselves thus we have the wrath of God/God’s.

Our conditioning in being the idoliser has kept us being no more of an observer than we were thousands of years ago, however, science has proven we can indeed be of this consciousness we call God, all we have to do now is realise there is no limit to our own observations.  Like I said in previous posts, all ideological concepts and beliefs are worthy as they are all a part of the same jigsaw, the same exact big picture. Religion gives us a clue and so does science to our true nature, all one has to do is see where these ideological concepts and beliefs fit within each other to create the bigger picture. Once we see the bigger picture, we become a much bigger observer and so on it goes.
