The Scourge of Honesty

What is ugly to the sufferer,
is often beauty to the learner

Written by Mathew Naismith

As it has come about once again in human history, honesty is a scourge upon humanity, a humanity conditioned to dishonesty especially self-dishonesty. Within such a reality, a creation of fear looms, a fear of actually becoming aware of our own preconditioned dishonest disposition. We are indeed born into this......Mathew G

It is a real pleasure observing more and more people becoming aware, in other words instead of suffering from human history, many have learnt to learn from human history. It is very important at this stage in human history to know the difference, the difference between learning from history to suffering from history. Of course to do this, one must not ignore, for one's own pleasure or gratification, what history has to teach us. Yes, live within the present for what it is, not what we desire it to be. The present is simply saying how we are still suffering from human history, for we are still suffering from the past. If to stay positive is of the absence of negatives, we are still suffering from human history in that we are still reflective of dishonesty. Ignore the negatives to be and stay positive when the collective consciousness is still suffering from it's past. Simply, in all honesty, the past is still well and truly within the present, especially if we are still reflective of dishonesty to simply fulfil our present desires and pleasures.

Yes, many people are living within the present these days, a present in ignorance to human history, thus creating a reality even more based on dishonesty. When you think of the past or the future, this is still within the present, in all honesty, only the present exists. Living within the present is not in the absence of a future or past, it is not of the present separate from a past or future but a culmination of past and future being of the present, not separate to the present!!

To people like me, it is so obvious why we are still suffering from our history (past), we simply still have not learnt to honestly face human history for what it is and what it was. "It's in the past so ignore it", even though we are still so obviously suffering from the past!!

We desire to separate the present from the past and future so we can live within the present only, a present of self-gratification and desires. This is while we dishonestly ignore that we are still suffering from our past!! In doing so, we are unknowingly expressing a past human history over and over again. In all honesty, this is due to us not learning from our history as we ignore the past to be within the present separate to a past and future!!

In all honesty, is the past and future separate to the present, not of the present? This is while we are still too obviously suffering from the past human history, not learning from past human history!! Have we truly become this dishonest thus expressive of past human history?  So indeed live within the present separate from a past and future while ignoring that we still haven't learnt from human history, but are still suffering from human history through simply being this dishonest with ourselves. This is while honesty, especially self-honesty, is a scourge upon a reality conditioned to dishonesty!!

I have a very good internet friend, Mike Hopkins, who I often interact with. We don't always agree with each others views so we often simply agree to disagree without forcing our own views in each other. However, our views on the present world in relation to human history is often the same, this includes past lives lived (reincarnation). I recently wrote the following to Mike.

This is funny because I was a priest of high stature torturing people to death, you could imagine how this would have floored me when I recalled this life. By recalling this life I know exactly what I am dealing with in this life, it is the same exact mentality with slightly different tactics used. I also recalled a time in the 4th dynasty Egypt, where I was a healer but a healer who didn't put the high ranking officials before the commoners. I also wanted to free the slaves but if this couldn't be accomplished, I wanted the slaves to be treated a lot better than they were being treated.

In relation to my time in Egypt and medieval Europe, the whole of human existence was built upon plain simple dishonesty especially self-dishonesty. Look at how most people today react towards honesty, it is as if you're a leper or worse. I couldn't stay a member of youme as they don't just ignore abuse, they openly endorsed it, especially on our humanity group. I then told them a few home truths knowing exactly how they would react. They reacted exactly how people of dishonesty would react which was simple plain conformation for me.

Is being put up against a wall and shot or being tortured to death a deterrent for me? It is nothing to what I have already experienced. I also know this life is but a grain of sand upon a beach considering my whole existence so go for it boys. I am one person who doesn't suffer from my experiences but have instead learnt from my experiences.

Mike is like me, you tell it how it is, not how other people desire to hear it to gain popularity. At no point is honesty popular as it is often scorned as being negative, but you never know what will occur once we learn from human history!! Mike often reflects his own honesty through his poems as below.

Stoicism

"The meaning of life is just to be alive. It is so plain and so obvious and so simple. And yet, everybody rushes around in a great panic as if it were necessary to achieve something beyond themselves".
.....Alan Watts.....

Written by Mathew Naismith

Most often and not always, I will come to a point where I have no idea how to present a topic or view, most often in this circumstance something will present itself. My wife wanted me to read an article about how stoicism can help deal with anxiety. Let's be honest, how many spiritually aware people of today suffer from some form of anxiety which can lead to depression. Depression doesn't lead to anxiety but most often anxiety can lead to depression. Of course one way to deal with anxiety in relation to our present reality, is to deliberately ignore all the deemed negatives in favour of desired so-called positives. I say so-called positive because isn't it more positive to face the present reality for what it is, instead of creating a desired reality that isn't of the present? In other words desiring to live within our own reality instead of the, very real, present reality. Are we not supposed to be living and positively dealing with the present reality within the present? We are not doing this; we are instead allowing our anxiety of the present reality to determine our reaction in relation to the present reality.

Note: Present means to introduce something to others, or, to being in the now. Yes, the English language can be confusing at times.

Stoicism; (philosophy) the philosophical system of the Stoics following the teachings of the ancient Greek philosopher Zeno. An indifference to pleasure or pain.

"Make the best use of what is in your power and take the rest as it happens".....Epictetus

Who would a truly unconditionally loving soul embrace in love more, a soul of the same love or a soul that isn't of the same love? The soul that needs love will always be embraced before a soul that doesn't need love, however, quite the opposite is occurring with so many people of today. It's like a multinational; would not a like minded materialist person embrace the multinational before a spiritually aware person? Unconditional love is not of the embracement of its own first and foremost, it is of the embracement of what is in need the most.

How many of us are embracing this present reality while forgoing a desire of a desired reality of the future? The anxiety created by deeming the present reality as simply negative and even toxic is a typical trait of anxiety. Ignore an obvious state of mind for a desired state of mind, and we wonder why so many people are suffering with depression these days!! Yes, one way traits of anxiety deceptively avoid going into depression because of so many negatives, is to deceive. How many spiritually aware people of today think that positive thinking is ignoring the negatives, not dealing with them and turning them into something less negative? How many spiritually aware people today think that unconditional love is the embracement of their own kind and of their own reality first and foremost? This is while deeming everything else negative and even toxic, including the present!! How many actually live within the present while portraying being in the present? One of the main traits of anxiety is to deceive.

Yes, make the best use of what is in your power to influence and forgo, let go, what isn't in your power to influence. This reminds me of Confucius; where at the end of he's time he suffered with depression. This was due to him not being able to influence the present reality to the degree he desired to influence it by. Another trait of anxiety is to force change and if this doesn't occur to the degree we desire it to occur, depression sets in.

There is a difference between trying to force change to simply trying to influence change. I will try to influence change upon the present reality, if this doesn't occur, I will take the rest as it happens, meaning, accept what it is for what it is and make the best of it, not the worst of it. How many people today try, at times very hard and deliberately, to make the worst of the present reality? And this is their representation of positive thinking and unconditional love!!

Do people like me suffer with a degree of anxiety in relation to our present abusive reality? Yes, but it is what it is when it's beyond our influence. So many more people desire the present reality, or, desire to look upon the present reality as something to escape from and certainly not something one embraces in love. Try to remember, it took billions of people to create their present reality, who are we to force change upon so many? Yes, we also exist within this reality and yes, we have a right to influence change upon this reality, however, to try to force or manipulate change, especially deceptively, is simply being apart of this reality. You are not changing a thing.

Stoicisms is simply an indifference to pain and pleasure, meaning, one is not desired over and above the other, within this, traits of anxiety are unable to control our lives to any great extent. You could say that stoicism creates a balanced mind therefore reality, where a desired state is never forced, only influenced. When you decrease desires, levels of anxiety naturally decrease as well. You will also look upon the present reality quite differently, knowing that you may or may not be able to influence the present reality.

What brought this on is a reaction by a so-called social worker to a person suffering with depression. At no time was the person suffering depression seen to be suffering anxiety by the social worker, this lead to depression being treated and not anxiety which can cause depression. We need to all be aware in how our present reality can cause us to suffer with anxiety and possible depression. Be honest with yourselves and face up to what anxiety creates, remember though, anxiety will try to deceive us otherwise as anxiety will often ignore the real truth in favour of a desired truth.

Yes, the meaning of life is just to be alive. It is so plain and so obvious and so simple. And yet, everybody rushes around in a great panic as if it were necessary to achieve something beyond the (present reality)

Only Within the Present

Written by Mathew Naismith

This is only my opinion, but be wary of anyone who is primarily focused on the future/past. I had a friend recently present something to me from another person that was supposed to be spectacular. Anyone guiding people while being primarily based on future events, in my mind, should be avoided at all costs, even if this includes ascension symptoms primarily based on future events. You will find that most, if not all, ascension symptoms are primarily based on predicted future events.

Yes, the future and the past will give us ascension symptoms if we are focused on the past and/or future. Now honestly try focusing on the present only, you will find that ascension symptoms simply don't and can't exist within the present. To have any kind of ascension symptom, there has to be a strong acknowledgment and focusing of ourselves of a past and/or future. Of course the more we focus on the now/present, the less symptoms we will have for a very good reason, ascensions symptoms need a past and /or future events to exist. Yes, ascension symptoms do exist because we simply allow a past and future to exist as our primary focus.

I wrote the following to my friend on this matter.
______________________

OK, I am not too concerned about where we are going but how we are getting there which is in relation to the now. I find people like Aluna are more focused on the future than the now. Anyone focused primarily on the future/past, are obviously primarily of the illusion/ego. These people will often use various marketing ploys to keep themselves within the scheme of things, in the limelight.

These people often talk about judgment of others but how often are they themselves in critical judgment of others themselves? I am a good example of her, not just simple judgment but critical judgment.

Also, why be so worried or focused on the future when the future is already written, secure?  It's a con; the ego has these people in its full control, this is too obvious.

Live within the present for all else is defined by the present only, for everything else but the present is an illusion.......Mathew G

How often are we guided to live within the present? Now, how many of us live by what we preach within living in the now? Too often we are primarily focused on the future which really doesn't exist. Aluna is obvious within being primarily focused on the future. Aluna is making a huge mistake in my mind; this is unless all Aluna desires is an audience.

Look for the people who are primarily focused on the future when the future is supposed to be secure in accordance within their beliefs/predictions. If the future is suppose to be so secure, why not then focus on the present when the future is already written and secure? It simply makes no sense when people like this are primarily focused on a secure future to an insecure present.

The past and future are already written but the present isn't....Mathew G

Consciousness isn't this limited to past and future events Glenys.

Be wary of anyone focusing primarily on the future Glenys. Our ascension symptoms seem to have everything to do with future events with these people, huge mistake in my mind.

Ok yep can see your point

Now to a lot of people this might seem unfair or even toxic of me mentioning people who are guiding numerous other people further into the illusion, not away from the illusion. Yes, these people are ascending but ascending further into the illusion of time based realities of past and future events, not away from them. If it's acceptable to lead people further into the illusion, why isn't it accepted to point out how people are being misled? Everything is created from the present, not from some future predicted event and why put so much focus on a future that is secure when the present isn't secure? Would it not make more sense focusing on the present when it's the present that creates everything?

Consider this, can a past and future exist without the present? Seen as all future and past events where first created from the present at that time, the answer is categorically no. Now, can the present exist without a future or past and the answer is definitely yes, but of course to anyone primarily of time based realities of past and future events, the perceptions of the present being able to exist void of a past and future is going to be incomprehensible, and understandably so.

As I have stated before, time itself has always existed, this also means so has a past and future, however within the present there is no starting or ending points, no past or future. Only within time can anything be created from a starting point including time itself, you simply can't create a starting point within the present without time also being present.

All this means is that time, therefore past and future events, have always existed, however, what we primarily focus on in the present creates the present. If we focus on the past and/or the future, this will be the present. If we focus on the now, the present, this will be the present. So the idea of focusing on a secure future seems to be the way to go as the future then becomes the present. However, while primarily focusing on a secure future, we are not being of the present which creates the future for which we are primarily refocusing on at present.

The illusion is that future events create the present when they simply don't. Many of us are sadly being guided down this very road by others who are simply living for the future instead of the now, the present, which create future perception of future events. Yes, we can exist by creating our present from future events but it's simply not advisable, mainly due to the future is anything but secure and is limited to certain events. Being that time therefore past and future existence is limited by starting and ending points, it's a bit silly to continue to limit our own potential in this way. The present is simply limitless within it's motions where's a past and future is highly limited to certain events, do we won't or need to continue to limit ourselves to time based realities?

Yes, we can continue to delude ourselves in thinking that the future and past create the present when it's always the present that creates everything within it's entirety. No, there is nothing wrong in continuing to seemingly create the present from future events, but is it wise to do this, not just continue to do this but ascend even further into these delusions?

To my readers, try to avoid anyone guiding other people who have based everything on future events, focus on the now is my best advice here. Security is created within the present, not the future for it's the present that writes the perceptions of the future.

Frustrations within Spirituality.

Written by Mathew Naismith

I have dreams now and again of going on a long journey to a final destination but along the way, there a numerous obstacles to cross, at every turn I have yet another obstacle to overcome.  The frustration due to these never ending obstacles is quite tiering in these dreams.  I don’t myself seem to have the same obstacles in my private life to the extent of my dreams but the world itself does, I think this is reflective within my dreams.

I have concerns, like many other people in the world do, especially at present in where the world is going. When my a dreams are full of stationary obstacles, this refers to my private life but when they are full of human obstacles, I don’t see this being of my private life but of the life of the world.  These human obstacles in my dreams are usually of an unbecoming nature of one kind or another; I just kept coming across them at every turn which ended up frustrating me, I couldn’t see myself getting to where I was supposed to be going.

What is stopping the world getting to where it’s supposed to go to where it is going at present?  The thing about being spiritually aware, we can usually sense/feel where our final destination will lead us, what we are going through at present will frustrate us if we are not altogether collective within our inner being.  The world is full of unbecoming people hindering our journey at every point it would seem, there doesn’t seem to be a way out of these most unbecoming obstacles along the way.

Should I have stopped to be in the present within my dreams?  The present wasn’t very becoming in my dreams as the world isn’t at present, is this a good place to stop and be in the present? Actually we really only have the present in our present state but do we stop or continue along our journey no matter what obstacle we come across?

Jesus and Buddha didn’t stop along in their journey to be in the present moment, they continued along their journey no matter what obstacle they came across however this isn’t saying they weren’t in the present moment, it’s just they didn’t stop in the present to make the present moment permanent.  On a collective scale, humans seem to have done this, this is it, so we must deal with it in how it is and the only way we know how to deal with these obstacles is by force, fighting fire with fire which will only stoke the fire more until there is nothing left to stoke it with, at this point the fire will burn itself out before it has a chance to move on.  The obstacles are the fire and we are the fuelers of such fire if we are going to fight fire with fire.

At present we have no other way to deal with such unbecoming obstacles only because we are staying in the present not moving on to the present, moving on will show us how to deal with such obstacles a lot better than what we are at present.

The answer is to not stay in the present but just be in the present while the present is present. If in my dreams I tried to tackle these people, I would be living the present instead of moving on from the present. The funny thing is, if a showed a lot of love towards these people, these people wouldn’t have become an obstacle or as much as an obstacle.  Can we carry this through to the collective world? Showing distain only creates more friction, distain is only feeding the fire more however, if we showed love and understating towards these obstacles, is this feeding the fire?  We are no longer feeding the fire but extinguishing such a fire while we move on within our journey as a collective.

Would it make a difference showing love and understanding towards radicles (obstacles), wouldn’t they then just tread all over us? Yes to a point but it’s a lot better than continually living in the present and feeding the fire which will burn out eventually leaving us where?

We can’t avoid these obstacles but we can certainly learn to deal with them a lot better by continuing along our journey as a collective, once we learn to deal with these obstacles a lot better, they will no longer be an obstacle.

Karma v Living in the Present

Written by Mathew Naismith

I think most of us realise we can’t live in the past but can we just live in the present without learning form the past? Recently I came across a post about being in the present, the thing that struck me is it said about the past being obsolete, once we learn to live in the present does this make the past obsolete?  The following was my reply…..

There is a cliché to this, if we can’t learn from the past how are we going to learn in the present, we will make the same mistakes over and over again which human history shows quite plainly.

The only reason we have a past is to learn from it, what would be the point in having a past otherwise!! I do believe however not all realities have a past or future, life’s always conducted to the present moment, that is not the case for us however. I don’t believe we are at that point in being able to live just for the present, we are getting slightly ahead of ourselves I believe. Yes I believe we are collectively entering into this phase but we must be aware in not getting ahead of ourselves. Again if we can’t learn from the past it is obvious we are not going to learn from the present, this is karmic, we can’t avoid this karma, karma is there for us to learn from.

We are getting ahead of ourselves in many areas  which is actually a good sign we are entering into this new phase of only living for the present, however we must beware we are getting ahead of ourselves  otherwise we will never get to only living for  the present, it will always be at arm’s length.

To me it would seem we haven’t learnt from our past collectively so how can we go onto the next phase of our conscious development at the soul level to living in the present?  It would seem to me we can’t mainly because we haven’t collectively payed our karmic debt, this is obvious due to the fact we haven’t still learnt everything from our past. We are still making the same mistakes so we still have a karmic debt to pay and the only way to pay this debt is to learn from our past.  This is very much in line with our own karma; we can’t go on unless we have learnt from our past lives.

Can we then live in the present while learning from the past? Yes I believe so.  Learning from the past is different to living in the past though, learning from the past is karmic but living in the past is living old karmic debts that are already payed.  So how can you tell the difference between karma that’s already payed to karma that isn’t?  Are we still using the same destructive mentality than we did a thousand years ago collectively? In a lot of ways no but in other ways yes, warring is a good example of this and so is slavery and so on. Actually we have boosted a number of old destructive mentalities so really at the collective level we still have a fair amount of karma to pay before we go on collectively to the next phase of human spiritual development.   Yes we can seemingly achieve the next phase of living in the present but this is only at the personal level, none of us are about the personal but the collective and I do say seemingly because living personally in the present is transitory.  Anything that is personal is transitory because the next life you live you will be right back to paying the collective karmic debt again. If you keep living in this personal transitory state from life to life, you haven’t assisted the collective to pay it’s debts and if you haven’t helped in this how is your own karmic debt payed?

All we really need to do is be aware of the collective karmic debt and do our best to clear this debt.  We also need to remember, we have all helped to create this collective karmic debt in our past lives, past life recall is a good way to clear this debt personally, so the past isn’t obsolete after all until we pay our debts personally and collectively. You could say by clearing our own personal debt we are assisting in the collective debt, to me that would be correct in my assumptions however living personally in the present while thinking the past is obsolete isn’t the way to go because we still haven’t paid our collective debt.

As long as there is a collective debt to pay, personally living just in the present isn’t going to help the collective at all and will only help prolong this karmic debt paying.  Try not to ever think while living in the present the past is obsolete, it’s not as long as there is a karmic debt to pay personally and collectively.  True spirituality has never been about the personal self, it’s has always been about the collective, the collective self.
