The Creation of the Mind

Written by Mathew Naismith

Spiritual awareness is about being aware, even of the things around us we don't want to be aware of. Being aware of how the mind was created is certainly a part of this awareness, and in actuality,  it's probably one of the most important things we need to be aware of. We really can't say we are spiritually aware unless we are aware of what  influences us the most, the mind!!

I have never expressed about the perspectives of the mind before, this is quite new to me  but very relevant as our reality is basically purely based on the minds perceptive  perspectives. This is quite peculiar because the mind is purely based on preconceptions, this is due to the mind only being only aware of what it is aware of. It's however quite different  for our truer self as our truer self is aware of everything as there are no barriers brought about by preconceptions.

Yes, the mind is purely based on preconceptions in my mind, however, you could also state this too is a preconceived perception unless one's truer self  has at any time observed the mind, not the mind observing the mind!!

Spirituality is also about our truer self observing the mind, within this, there is no preconceptions unless the ego mind starts to observe and judge itself. I stated ego mind  for a very good reason, the mind is representative of the ego, in other words the mind is ego. Could you expect an unbiased perspective of the ego judging the ego  through observation? This of course isn't going to occur mainly because the ego mind is purely based on preconceptions. Everything the ego mind is aware of predominates every perspective, this means everything the ego mind is aware of influences the perceptive of everything else it becomes aware of, it becomes the basis of all things.

Example: Humans base intelligence on knowledge, the more we know the more intelligent we are, to do this of course takes a large brain making everything else of a small brain inferior. Of course anything that doesn't have a brain is even less inferior and less worthy. It's no wonder the mind is also known as the ego mind, the mind is obviously pure ego when it perceives it's more worthy and above all else. In actuality, a minds intelligence predominately based on knowledge perceived through an ego mind isn't really that intelligent. A truer form of intelligence would create without destruction, this kind of expression is extremely rare in written human history, we are anything but intelligent which is proven within our own actions throughout human history.

A mind only aware of it's immediate surroundings, can only perceive to what it is aware of, for another example, a person who has never been out of their town/village, will perceive that all other towns, villages and cities are likened to theirs. This is the same if a mind isn't aware of the world outside of it's province, state or country. This is also the case if a mind isn't aware of anything beyond it's own planet or planetary system, such minds will have a preconceived perceptions of what is beyond it's own awareness. Such minds will also have a preconceived perception of what is or isn't beyond our own physical state or dimension. What is going to occur in perceiving in this way, is that we will only become aware of what the mind perceives,  a mind that perceives like this will stay ignorant to everything else, the ego mind will of course make sure of this.

When you observe the mind, all you observe is ego and preconceptions, the ego mind is obvious within it's expressions, nothing else can exist unless it's perceived through the mind, within this, everything else becomes unworthy to the ego mind!!

The mind is purely created from preconceptions, the more egotistical we become, the more preconceived perceptions we will obviously have, everything else being unworthy to an egotistically controlled mind is a prime example of preconceptions. Such minds will of course put transitory possessions such as wealth before anything else it perceives as unworthy to itself. When you look around the world today, this is obvious, it's as if the mind is becoming even more preconceived within it's expressions, this of course is going to occur the more controlling the ego becomes.

Our truer self on the other hand is purely based on wisdom and awareness void of any influence of a mind. It's quite understandable how such as state is so pure,  it's not predominantly influenced by preconceptions as there is nothing to preconceive, everything is known.

The mind also has a preconceived perception that everything of time is larger in mass than anything non-physical and of timeliness, in actuality the truth is quite different. When you observe the mind, anything of time becomes minute, it basically becomes inconsequential/ insignificant to our normal state of being. It actually doesn't become less worthy, it just becomes a very small part of our whole being.

The mind of course doesn't like being insignificant so it will most often preconceive how large and important it is to our whole self......in fact, it has nothing on our truer self.

The Space Between the Matter

Written by Mathew Naismith

I got some interesting responses from the following citation I wrote recently, "That space between all matter is what really matters the most, not the matter itself. Should we be concentrating more on this space rather than the matter? I think so my self"....Mathew

The question is now, how do you get a logical mind to  concentrate on this space without a preconceived notion of what this space actually represents?  The following responses and my replies to these responses might answer this to a certain extent.

There is no need effort to look for anything but when anything comes, just be with it as ourselves. Just be with whatever thing that we sense right now as one. They are not ours but we already are all.

Indeed Eddie, the act of searching itself just leads to more searching until days end, it's endless.

When we stop our concentrative investigation of matter. the space between becomes more noticeable without effort.

What happens when we concentrate on space? Nothing, because all we are doing is concentrating on space, nothingness, this is due to having no preconceptions. To me it certainly looks like it's these preconceptions that create realities and even matter.

Now what would happen to this reality if we concentrated on this space rather than the matter within this space? It's certainly an interesting perspective, I feel that we would just let things be without interference within any reality.

However, to become involved in a reality takes us to preconceive what is within this space, this of course ends up with us concentrating on matter instead of this space, this act is ongoing until we start concentrating on this space again without any preconceptions.

The funny thing is, preconceptions have always existed because they exist within a timeless state of space/consciousness. When did these preconceptions start when there is no starting or ending point of these preconceptions within a timeless state? Everything is within this timeless state, this space, including time, time and it's preconceptions are not separated from timelessness for it's always been within this timelessness, this space.

Mathew, I really feel that we should. The space between holds a kind of secret magic I'm sure.

Carolyn: To me it's neutral state of affairs, it's a consciousness that has no influencing effects on realities until this consciousness decides to become apart of a reality.

The funny thing is, once we become a part of a reality, concentrating on this space will, I feel, affect these realities, this is only due to us being a part of these realities in the first place. You take out any preconception in any reality, it will change it.

In our case, taking away such preconceptions, which are chaotic, will only do this reality good, in other cases of a more harmonious species, taking away such harmonious preconceptions will most probably lesson the harmony within such realities. Concentrating on this space alone, can only do this reality in particular good in a sense, it would certainly make this reality more harmonious.

To answer the question, how do you get a logical mind to  concentrate on this space without a preconceived notion of what this space actually represents in anyway?  It is obvious  you don't, such logical minds needs to become aware, logically, that there is more than one way to be expressive of such seemingly non-consciousness. This space doesn't seem to be of a conscious state of any kind but we must remember, all of what is, is within this space, this timelessness, therefore this space, this seemingly non-consciousness, does indeed have a consciousness through time and matter itself.

Does this make science investigations irrelevant?

If science isn't going to evolve to include a different way to express such logics and expressions of consciousness, all past and present science investigations will become irrelevant. However, if science evolves in investigating into different ways to be consciously expressive, all of what was and is of science investigations, won't be for nothing. I do think quantum physics is showing that science investigation isn't irrelevant. What we need to do is allow science logics to evolve as it always has done, just let it run it's course as of anything.

When we meditate without any preconceived ideas, this to me is the space between the matter, any form of thinking that excludes all matter and thinking pertaining and influenced by matter, pertains to this space between the matter which is of course reality changing. To me it makes logical sense to change this reality through such concentrations of this space before we completely destroy everything, in time, I feel all logical minds will become aware of this in time, it's the only thing that makes logical sense.

Preconceptions, Not at All Helpful

Written by Mathew Naismith

Recently I inserted an image, shown below, on a sort of science minded community, this image and the attached message got quite a response as you could imagine. What I didn’t expect, to such a huge degree, was the aggressive response I got and how some people had preconceptions about such an image shown on their community.

A lot of these people had a preconceived idea of me already as I have posted on this site a number of times before. I did however think they would see the actual message in this image but because of their preconceived ideologies of spiritually aware people they totally missed this message.

What happened was they first focused on the message itself after obviously taking notice of the image; it made no sense to them that if someone couldn’t perceive evil how they wouldn’t see evil. My argument was of course how would anyone who didn’t know what evil was or couldn’t perceive evil see evil!!  This made no sense to them except for a few people.  I should say here that the post was liked by five members of this community and two of these five people shared the said image.

The next thing they focused on was the word evil itself, which in this case was an obvious metaphor because you could quite easily replace evil with bad or negative for example. They couldn’t again see this because of the preconceptions they had about me and the post image showing what they deemed as Lucifer and Jesus battling it out.  It would seem that is all they could see.

Being logically minded people, you would have thought they would have loved this because in a way it was showing how some spiritually aware people demonise traits like the ego which shows they are of this evil intent in away but they didn’t, they seemed to totally miss this.

The message actually had a double meaning, depending on the way we perceive what the image was depicting. These people, sadly enough, took it as Lucifer and Jesus fighting for control but like some other spiritually people pointed out, it’s two polarities or opposing forces coming together as one to give balance which was represented by the clenching of hands. Perceiving the image like this changed the meaning of the message underneath to perceiving no evil, there can’t be any perception of evil once two become one in unison.

Becoming the observer, especially through psychological understanding, gives one a weird picture of not just oneself but everyone, everyone’s short falls popup.  One should be aware, while being an observer, not to actually judge but observe. How can one observe and not judge in some way? This is simple, don’t see a wrong or right within others and especially yourself while observing yourself and also see everyone of being of you. You are actually only observing one person in it’s many different forms. Being aware of our many different forms isn’t judgement and it certainly not destructive judgement but just being aware through observation of all ourselves.

Some of the behaviour I observed was from my other selves seemed quite unbecoming to me but it wasn’t wrong, actually they displayed quite understandable reaction towards me.  I suppose we could do without the cussing and name calling, I’ve never been called autistic before, that’s a first, it’s usually liar, delusional, dumb etc. which they also used  but never  autistic before. Are my other selves wrong in doing this? It doesn’t show much intelligence and it’s not polite but it’s not wrong especially when you take into consideration I was an obvious threat to my other selves in some way otherwise they wouldn’t have reacted in this way.

To me it’s important to be aware of my other selves; spiritually awareness after all is about being aware, how else can I help my other selves!!   Did I help them?  Psychologically looking at this, yes I would say I did, maybe not consciously to them but certainly subconsciously. The reason I think this is because of their interactions within me and their actions against me, the unbecoming behaviour was actually a good sign that I was hitting a nerve which the subconscious will think on unbeknownst to their conscious selves.  Most people will just look at this behaviour as either wrong and/or unbecoming but actually it was a very good response.

Preconceptions aren’t just of the domain of science, it’s in everything we feel, think and do no matter what ideological view we abide by. We are very good at predetermining with very little awareness and is a typical human trait that we need to be aware can be quite disruptive and destructive if not checked.  The best way is to believe it just is what it is at this present within our understanding and that there could be something more.

This brings me to preconceiving while only deductively reasoning. Deductive reasoning used on it’s own will give us predetermining factors however if we used adductive or inductive reasoning with deductive reasoning the predetermining factors is diminished because these two reasoning process give us theories to look further beyond a predetermined factor.  My other selves on this site seem to only use deductive reasoning so how were they going to understand me in what I was saying which they obviously didn’t?

It is good to be aware of this if we want to help others not of our own frequencies, if not,  it’s a good idea to just believe it just is what it is at this present within our understanding, nothing else…

PS I should also say, by helping others out I am helping myself out as well, this discussion made me a fair bit more aware of my other selves which can only be a good thing….
