Collectively Healing Through Conscious Flat Lining

Written by Mathew Naismith

This post isn't going to go down too well with a number of people, it's about conscious flat lining, meaning consciousness is flat lined (balanced ) until it has motion, it's this motion, or any motion, that disrupts this perfect balance.

The great whisperers of our time: What I mean by motion is action reaction, once we act or react, we cause motion which causes this conscious line to waver, the more motion we cause, the more this line wavers and becomes unbalanced and chaotic. Boy this sounds like this reality we have all created!!

How do we avoid this? Simple, stop acting and reacting towards other consciousnesses that are in motion, this however doesn't mean we do nothing. Like I stated in a previous post, we are being shouted at only because we didn't listen to the whispers in the first place like from Jesus, Buddha, Confucius, Rumi etc . The point is, it's absolutely pointless shouting back, all this is going to do is cause this consciousness, this conscious flat line, to become more chaotic within it's vibrations.

At present, a lot of world peace and harmony Google communities have cropped up, is this in reaction to other consciousnesses that are in motion, and shouting, or is it do with whispering? I suppose in certain circumstances this is debatable but I think in all it's about the whispers as opposed to the shouts.

Whispering is still a motion but a motion that causes the conscious flat line to vibrate very little. Yes, this flat line is still vibrating, it's like a hum or an Om which creates balance and harmony within it's own vibration thus giving a flat line.

So what causes these shouts to occur, like with religious extremism or a fixation to materialism over and above all else for example? Religious extremism is shouting, fixations to materialism is shouting, anything that's disruptive or destroys other consciousnesses is shouting but what actually causes these to occur?  Motion (action reaction),  all this shouting is in reaction to another consciousness, it's as simple as that. Would these actions occur if there was no reaction? It's only through reacting can these actions occur which makes consciousness unbalanced from it's natural flat line state.

Now what if we first listened to the whispers from the great whisperers of out time, remembering they themselves caused very little motion within there own whisperings? The only excessive motion was brought about through emotions from other consciousness, other people in this case, who were into shouting.  Basically, I feel these great people tried to tell us to whisper instead of shouting. The Roman Empire was all about shouting, materialists and religious extremists are all about shouting, actually extremism period is all about shouting, we just didn't listen to the great whisperers of our time.

Spiritual unbalancing: Now a lot of us into spiritual awareness seem to be reacting to our present circumstances, is this too shouting?

It's only shouting when we start judging what is an isn't worthy, to judge what is and isn't worthy is shouting, but how can this reality be worthy of expressing in anyway when it's so destructive? Only when spiritually aware people start shouting back do realties like this one become unworthy to us. Try flat lining and don't react, as soon as we do this, no matter what the circumstances are, we will no longer judge what is and isn't worthy therefore react.

I recently become involved in a one off discussion about our present circumstances in the world, many people believe we could and should react to these destructive circumstances by praying and mediating for the good of anyone going through these dilemmas.

Two things to consider here, one, karma, everyone has a right to play out their own karma, no one in my mind has a right to disrupt this flow. By forcing our own energies onto another just might cause these people to not play out a much needed karma. We also have a collective karma to play out as well, do these groups of spiritually ware people have the right to disrupt this as well?

The second thing to consider is rebuttal or a counter-action of other conscious energies that are also into shouting, remembering, each reaction is a conscious reaction which can reflect onto another consciousness. For example, our reaction to the people destroying our environment is to react by meditating on their behalf, to try to get them to stop destroying the environment. Will not this destructive conscious energy also react and counter-react with it's own energy, in other words shout back?

The best way to heal anything is to flat line it, not react to it!!

So does this mean we shouldn't pray and meditate for people going through hard times? Yes and no, if we are not reacting to a circumstance such a judging what is and isn't worthy and at the same time considering karma, by all means pray and meditate. If on the other hand we are just reacting to what we have judge as unworthy, all we are doing is shouting back at an unworthy.

Is a religious extremist cutting off heads unworthy? Most if not all people controlled by emotions would say yes but consider this, don't these extremists see this as worthy, who has the right to judge what is and isn't worthy here? This is what has caused the problems in the world to start with, in other words the shouting, judging what is and isn't worthy. Religious extremists cutting off heads is trying to tell us something, usually something we don't want to hear so we make up some other story. No consciousness shouts out for no reason, behind each shout there is a reason. It's the reason itself that makes cutting off heads worthy, not the act of cutting of heads.

Just maybe these people are fed up being pushed around and shouted at by Westerners all the times. Trying to control the worlds energy for example is shouting so religious extremists are only shouting back. You could say it's the materialistic consumerists who have caused this quite deplorable reaction to happen, this of course will be refuted which doesn't help the situation by stating, "there just religious extremists shouting back, that's all, their of course unworthy".

Flat lining; actually neutralises bad karma, it then becomes unnecessary to play out a karma, individually or collectively. Today's religious extremism is the Westerners bad karma but this too can be neutralised through learning to flat line consciousness, in other words balance out consciousness so it no longer reacts to and with itself.

Indeed we react way to much, there is an imbalance of motion and motionlessness within this reality, that's obvious. Meditating, praying, chanting and so forth, certainly helps with this but as long as we don't do this in reaction or retaliation. Give love and affection by all means but not in reaction or retaliation, all this will do is incite other more destructive consciousnesses to react even more in retaliation.

Yes, I know about the monkeys, when one monkey was digging up and washing sweet potatoes so then after did other monkeys on other islands and continents. This means when Jesus or Buddha whispered, everybody else should have followed up doing the same but they didn't. The reason they didn't is because of shouters reacting to the whispers by shouting back and not themselves learning to whisper, this of course takes wisdom. It's funny to think, monkeys are wiser that human beings obviously!!!!

A sensitive consciousness: This is how sensitive consciousness is. There is a simple conscious expression that could turn this planet inside out, in other words turn this planet back into it's molten state.  You might think this sounds ridiculous but consider this. This universe was created from a very simple conscious expression, wouldn't an also simple conscious expression be able to turn this planet back to it's molten state?  The creation of life and form is one of the most simplest expressions a consciousness  can express, for example, how much conscious expression is needed to create a baby? To a consciousness way beyond our perception, the creation of life and form is as simple as creating baby, actually simpler.

It really seems strange to me that we know very little in how consciousness works, even though it's this consciousness that is the building blocks of everything. Motion creates other motions to react and the more motion we express, the more motion we have to deal with. Flat lining this conscious motion allows anything created from this consciousness to be balanced, a hum or an Om, nothing more and nothing less, just pure balance.

Yes, it's difficult for humans not to react and cause even more motion, but we need to learn to do this  if we want a better more harmonious reality. Reacting or retaliating is only going to cause more motion when we need less motion, learn to whisper.

We really do need to learn to use consciousness in a wiser way.......

The Truth of What Is

Written by Mathew Naismith

"Being aware of the truth of what is, not what our ego's desire it to be,  is balance, a balance not governed by control".....Mathew

How many of us would love to take control of our chaotic destructive reality? This is actually a strange reaction, it's control that created such a reality in the first place. Is it likely that more control will create a more constructive reality?  Very unlikely, control isn't of balance, it's of one or the other over another.

Any control is of the desires of the ego, control can only be expressed through the ego and a controlling ego at that!!

What would occur if everyone stopped trying to take control? Pure and utter balance within the present reality,  this of course would dramatically change this reality from what it is. The truth of the matter is, we don't exist in a perfect reality, this is why the ego tries to always take control, it wants a reality that it desires, it doesn't want a balanced reality for in this balance there is no control. A controlling ego fears balance, it fears the universe it exists in because it has no control over it. The reason a controlling ego has no control over this universe is due to the universes reality being of balance.

"A controlling ego will always fear acceptance of what is, this is because it fears sitting in the quietness of what is, this is why the ego will always try to control the truth of what is".......Mathew

The Inner Immortal Self

Written by Mathew Naismith

The inner observer: “Never fear expressing any traits of the ego, for within this action, it’s the ego that’s in control”…….Avoiding expressing the ego only gives what the ego desires, control. Yes, the ego will always deny being fearful of when in avoidance of itself, this is a sign that the ego has you totally within it’s control. Observe yourself being expressive of ego traits, most often within this you will just smile at your reactions without fearing being expressive of the ego.

We exist in a universe that is very expressive of it’s motions (the ego), suns are a very good example of this. When there cycle is nearing, they will expand and express themselves even more before their cycle ends. As of many expressions of motion (ego), the sun gives physical life and light to a very dark environment, in the  end, it will take all this away. If these suns could become aware of their own actions, they would themselves smile at such expressions void of the ego telling them they are just being destructive therefore egotistical.

Man lives according to these same cycles as these suns, learn to become the observer and smile at your own expressions instead of allowing the ego to control you even more through fear.

I know I have been going on about being the observer lately, but in a recent comment, being the observer came up again. It was to do with a lass who was suffering from migraine headaches, all she could do while explaining her dilemma was laugh. The main discussion  was on ascension symptoms, one of the symptoms being headaches.

The following responses I gave this person helped her as I hope they will help someone else in a simular situation. It was also pointed out that these headaches are only from physical sources and not from ascension symptoms, it’s possible but unlikely in this case as I will explain.

"Writing this made me laugh inside", this isn't a typical follow up response you get from these symptoms coming from physical means. I feel that head pains refer to your psyche having trouble in accepting the ascension (conscious change). As the Mayans pointed out, this is one of the biggest conscious changes in human history, including the antediluvian period. Our mind, and even our soul, are conditioned to mortal existences, now after thousands of years of conditioning to mortal existences, we ask ourselves to accept immortal expressions and existences.

I got the feeling this isn't the case with you Kaz but I could be wrong. The inner self will come through at times as a smile or even laughter. It's an awareness thing, your inner self is very aware and will smile at human interactions and reactions, in this case I think it's smiling at you in knowing that conscious changes can give us head pains at times. Trust me, your inner self has gone through this before in past lives, most people's souls have.

Kaz, the inner self is immortal and it's coming forth more and more in more people these days, this is certainly apart of the conscious change. I'm happy you are so aware, it makes light of life.

Immortal self: Through my interactions with Kaz, Kaz became more aware that the laughter was from her inner self. The inner self (immortal self) laughs at us a lot even if we are unaware of this, this is all due to the inner self being aware through it’s own immortality.  Our immortal self is the observer, this is one of the reasons it’s so aware, the observer is also aware of their past lives as it’s the observer. Kaz also become aware of the observer being the inner self (immortal self).

Immortal self = observer + inner self
Mortal self = interactions + outer self

The mortal self can only be aware of interactions, the mortal self is never the one that is aware of the immortal observer, this can only be achieved through the immortal self. We most often believe we need the mortal self to firstly become aware of the immortal self, in actuality, it’s the immortal self telling the mortal self of it’s existence. Smiling or laughing when the ego thinks this action is inappropriate, is telling our mortal self of the immortal self existence. I often smile at my own reactions and expressions, this tells me how expressive I am of the ego which is a natural thing to express in such a reality (universe) of motion.

The mortal self however  never truly becomes aware of the immortal self, this might sound ludicrous, we might think, as soon as we are aware of our immortal self (inner self), of course our mortals self also becomes aware of this. Not at all, as soon the immortal self makes itself known, the mortal self no longer truly exists but within it’s own reality of interactions and reactions. The mortal self can only exist within it’s own reality, however, we can be expressive of immortal and mortal expressions at the same time, one doesn’t have to cancel out the other but if we choose to it will.

Take a look at how mortal expressions have cancelled out immortal expressions, even though spiritual teachings tell us of our immortal self. On the other hand, the immortal self can also cancel out our mortal expressions as well, in a reality of motion, it’s wise to find a balance between our mortal and immortal self to find true meaning and peace in life, otherwise we will just keep on flounder about.

Balance: Yes, we could all just be expressive of our immortal self, this would rid us of all this ego, it’s not the ego that is the  problem here though, it’s how we react to the ego that causes our dilemmas. We exist in a reality of a highly expressive motions, it’s a reality of expressive the egos, it’s up to us if we allow this reality to sway us to only express our mortal self or not.

What would a controlling ego want us to do? It wants us to be expressive of one or the other, in other words it doesn’t want mortal and immortal expressions to work in unison. The ego is only truly happy when  it’s creating chaos and/or is in total control, to the ego, expressing only immortal expressions is total control as is expressing mortal expressions. A life void of a controlling ego, is about sharing the same space at the same time in perfect balance and harmony, laughing at our mortal expressions is part of this balance which a controlling ego doesn’t like, in other words a controlling ego doesn't like balance.

Balance isn't about control and it's certainly not about judging what is or isn't worthy of expressing, it's about acceptance of what is through a balanced perception. The immortal inner self is obviously of this balance otherwise we wouldn't be experiencing all of what consciousness is. We become destructive only through an imbalance, souls sadly enough have become too accustom to mortal existences, thus at the soul level, we have lost balance. Just maybe this is why so many people are aware of the soul and past lives these days, the spirit is showing us how to exist in a balanced reality again.

Healing Through Immortality

Written by Mathew Naismith

The healing process: Healing through immortality actually has nothing to do with a healing process, as such, it’s to do with a realization that adjusts the mortal self in accordance with what is being realised, this of course to our mortal self is healing. Once we adjust to this realisation, this in turn automatically adjusts what mortal conditioning has accrued.

This can be tricky, we have so many mortal conditions to be healed from the mind to the body and even to the soul itself, where do we start?

First of all, you must realise that you don’t actually start anywhere, this is due to there being no starting or ending point of your immortal self, remembering, your immortal self isn’t governed by time. It’s actually this time that accrues conditions that need healing, why continue to use time to rid ourselves of what has been accrued when it’s this time, this mortal state of consciousness, that has given us these conditions in the first place?

Time = mortal existence + added conditions + healing needed
Timelessness = immortal existence + no conditions + no healing needed

The realisation is all to do with realising your immortal self and that the mortal self will accrued conditions in accordance with our unawareness of our immortal self. Yes, all our conditions are due to an unawareness, it’s as simple as that, or is it?

To a consciousness that is predominantly conditioned to mortal existence, being aware isn’t going to be simple to do, how is a consciousness unconditioned to  immortal existence going to comprehend this  immortal existence?  So in turn, we continue to use mortal healing processes to heal ourselves, this kind of healing process of course isn’t sustainable, this is all due to using the same existence that is the cause of the conditions in the first place, time (mortal existence).

Many posts ago I wrote about perceiving past time into timelessness, which denotes our immortal self, if there’s no time, there is no mortality, an ending of a consciousness. This is all due to there being no starting or ending point of existence, if there I no starting or ending point, how would a condition that needs healing exist in the first place?  The thing is it wouldn’t and this is the point in the realisation of  immortal existence. Mortal existence isn’t actually normal because it’s rarely experienced by consciousness itself, in other words mortality isn’t our usual state of consciousness, it’s an anomaly from our usual state of existence, this however in my mind doesn’t make it an illusion, just an expression of consciousness itself.

We are basically deluded in thinking mortal existence is who we are and that mortal existence is our normal state of consciousness, this mentality will of course accrued insurmountable conditions that need healing. I do myself find it strange though that we use what is causing our condition in the first place in the healing process, again this of course isn’t going to be sustainable. This would be like taking rat poison to rid ourselves of toxic arsenic poisoning, this action will of course kill us in the end. I suppose once we are dead, we have healed the condition but isn’t there a better way to rid ourselves of these condition in the first place?

Let’s look at how people like Jesus healed, all they do is touch someone or even connect themselves in someway without touching them to heal these conditions, to a mortal thinking person, this healing process would seem totally absurd and rightfully so, if we can’t comprehend something, how could it exist?  To people like Jesus, this kind of healing process indeed existed only because they comprehended (became aware of) their own immortal existence.

Yes, it can take time to condition ourselves to comprehending immortal existence, only because we are conditioned to think we are predominantly mortal. It’s wise to read up on anything that tells us about our immortality, this will start the reconditioning process of knowing we are truly immortal.

The soul: Yes, the soul can also accrue conditions that need healing, this of course seems daunting to the mortal thinking self, “we need to heal our human selves and our soul, it’s too much”, the usual question is, “where do I start?” Again, you don’t start anywhere, a soon as you have done this, you have started a healing process that accrued these conditions in the first place. Just become aware of  immortal existence, you might say this is a starting point but it’s not, it’s just an awareness nothing more. What you need to do is forget about starting and ending points to begin with, become aware of your immortal self. Again it comes down to simple awareness.

Human self = time + mortal existence
The soul = time and timelessness + mortal and immortal existence
Spirit = timelessness + immortal existence

The soul is indeed unique, it’s a balance of  time and timeliness, mortal and immortal existence until it’s predominately governed by mortal or immortal existence. When the soul is governed by mortal existence, it can accrue conditions that need healing, this isn’t the same when the soul is predominately governed by the spirit itself (consciousness itself), this is due to the spirit not accruing conditions that need to be healed.

The strange thing about the soul is it’s not governed by boundaries like mortal existence is until the soul becomes governed by time. The soul has a starting point but not in the same sense as mortal existences do, the soul has always existed as pure consciousness but it’s not until it expresses this consciousness does it have a starting point of origin. You might think that if the soul has a starting point, the soul has to have an ending point as well, this isn’t the case but can be the case, this depends on if the soul is governed by mortal or immortal existence (time or timelessness). I did say the soul was unique.

I actually came across souls that were very disruptive and destructive on a couple of occasions, their whole being was influenced by mortality, only through this mortality were they able to be so disruptive and destructive, this was all due to mortal  thinking consciousnesses existing in a reality of mortal existence. They themselves were aware of their own mortality, for once they became aware of immortal existence, their own existence would cease to exist even at the soul level. They didn’t take too kindly to me, I was too aware of immortal existence.

Mortal existence exists only because of the existence of mortal existences, if we were to all become the spirit itself, all mortal existence would cease to exist. This is were the soul gives the spirit balance and an existence to were this spirit can express it’s own consciousness in it’s various ways.

You can at the human level wise your soul to it’s own immortality thus giving back a soul it’s balance, once you obtain a balance between mortal and immortal existences, you will find you won’t need to be healed. I’m not actually doing this myself, only because I don’t judge or mind being also expressive of an imbalance which accrues conditions that need to be healed. The funny thing is, the majority of people existing in this mortal existence are doing the same, they are just not aware of this at the human level, trust me, you wouldn’t be here otherwise.

It is however noticeable that a lot of people want to change this existence to a more constructive existence, void of these accrued conditions. To me, becoming aware of your immortal self is a good start, however, do try to stay away from healing processes that incorporate using healing processes that use mortal conditioning, this would be like a dog chasing it’s tail.

What Actually Produces Judgement?

Written by Mathew Naismith

Education and judgement: We ask the question, “What actually produces judgment?”, and we come up with ego, you obviously can’t judge or misjudge without an ego being present for only through the ego can we judge. This post however isn’t just about the ego producing judgment but how the ego produces (creates) this judgement.

We can express ego traits without being in judgment,  it’s called observing a situation without comparing one situation to another, for example, “it’s a beautiful day just because it makes you feel good”, you’re not comparing this to a day that made you feel bad. Judging is comparing one to another and forming a critical opinion, one being more worthy than another to experience, in this case a day that made you feel bad can influence us to make judgment on this day by experiencing a day that didn’t make us feel bad. We then judge this day to be worthy of experiencing, this however actually doesn’t tell us how judgment is formed until we become aware of an imbalance, an imbalance that causes us to judge a situation instead of just observing a situation without judgment or prejudice.

Yes, I’m saying judgment is caused by an imbalance, an imbalance brought about by how we think, it’s an imbalance of the thinking processes we are conditioned too from birth.  How many people are brought up on a certain style of education, like for example, an education predominantly influenced by religious teachings or hands on skills like farming or even, and probably especially, an education based purely on academics. I have observed on numerous occasions, that highly educated people can also be highly prejudice against anyone not  educated to the same degree, actually, I have even observed these people show prejudice against more highly educated people than themselves. There is an obvious imbalance here and it’s all to do with the way we are taught to think.

The following is a reply I received from one of my posts, strangely enough, this person didn’t read my actual post but the replies I received from another person in judgment of my poor grammar and writing skills. I’m certainly not the best writer around but I do have my own writing style that doesn’t suite everyone. I come from the bush and my writing style can most often reflect this, I’m OK with this but some people aren’t and that’s Ok too.

The following reply I received, and my subsequent reply back to this person,  reflects on a certain kind of education, a style of education that the governments of the day desisted in financially supporting in Australia. The kind of education is question obviously offered, to a point, a balanced education.

Good old Yallourn tech, no it was "a" technical trade orientated school! We need these types of schools back so the current teenagers get some good quality skills behind them, instead of being keyboard warriors, like some person above! Which he must have gone to "an" elementary school!!!

My Rely

Technical trade schools were about obtaining a balanced education between hands on skills and technical thinking, not many educational establishments these days teach on this level.

As of anything, balance is the key like a balanced diet for example or a balanced mentality which helps one analyse situations and people without bias, it would seem Theadore lacks this kind balanced education.

As usual , one can know all there is to know and still not  know how to use this knowledge, a balanced education gives one this knowledge I believe.

My post is about everything being in the now, meaning, when you think of the past, present or future, it's all in the present moment. Yes, my grammar isn't perfect, too much country comes out in the post at times but that is my writing style, that is who I am and I'm proud of it no matter how many flaws it has according to others with an obvious unbalanced education.

It's sad that they closed these schools but this is a typical  knee jerk reaction you will get from people with an unbalanced education. We wonder why the worlds in a mess, it's dominated by people with a high level of education who know nothing in how to use this knowledge in a balanced way.

All this knowledge is fine but do we know how to use this knowledge wisely and in an unbiased way? Wisdom gives balance to knowledge, knowledge obviously doesn't give one wisdom, this is obtained through a balanced education which the world lacks at present.

Prior to going to a technical college, I was  also educated at what was called a technical high school, these schools were also shut down by the government of the day.

Wisdom; comes from a balanced outlook that  comes from a balanced education, not from the huge amount of knowledge we can store inside our heads, if this was the case, the world wouldn’t be going through what it is at present. There is no wisdom in chaos and destruction, we are not lead by wisdom but by a highly educated system which obviously doesn’t know how to use this knowledge constructively.

My own education sadly lacked spiritual teachings, even though I was educated in technical skills, I lacked the balance of spiritual teachings , to a point, I made up for this. How many schools today even teach philosophy? Philosophy can teach you to think outside the square, outside conditioned teachings.

It’s not what we know or how much we know, it’s how we use  what we know that shows how wise we have become. This wisdom isn’t obtained through what we know or how much we know, it’s produced by a balanced education and the more balanced an education is, the less you will judge and misjudge. Wisdom isn’t about judgment, it’s about observations without judgement and prejudice, this I feel can only be obtained through a balanced education.

If you lack a balanced education, try balancing this out with your own studies. I don’t myself think much of human knowledge and know how, in a lot of cases it certainly lacks wisdom in my mind, however, if this education is helping to give you balance, go for it by all means, we need more people with a balanced thinking process that stops us judging and prejudging as we are at present.

Can a balanced education lesson our judgmental attitude? In my mind most definitely.

As Always, Balance is the Key

Written by Mathew Naismith

The void: I had an interesting conversation with another person who has studied the Bhagavad gita and the bible, it would seem  a lot of what I write, in one sense or another, relates to these ancient writings even though these writings seem so different to each other. What one should remember here, the bible is of symbolism, once you look beyond these symbols, you begin to become aware of the similarities between the bible and the  Bhagavad gita even though the Bhagavad gita is also directly expressionistic of  science analysis and reasoning.

One of the major similarities is what some people call God’s consciousness, basically a consciousness that is motionless, to me people like Jesus and Buddha, and even Confucius, expressed a great deal of this God’s consciousness, a connection with a consciousness far beyond normal human comprehension. I also see a lot of spiritually aware  people who express love, harmony and understanding are also in one way or another expressive of this God’s consciousness.

The Bhagavad gita and the bible also don’t mention voids and illusions as such, yes we are deluding ourselves if we don’t think we are apart of this God’s consciousness, but they don’t say we are living in an illusion that isn’t real period. Taoism also doesn’t concur to voids and illusions denoting that any consciousness is unreal.  Taoism is about motion and motionlessness, meaning that Taoism is about this God’s consciousness but also about yin and yang. Yin and yang are all about being in motion so in Taoism motion is real and not an illusion as such. Basically illusions refer to all motions being unreal, an illusion.

God’s consciousness = void + motionless + egoless + oneness
Human consciousness =  occupied + motion + ego + yin and yang

Now I mentioned void in relation to this God’s consciousness only because I understand this God’s consciousness is void of motion, in other words it’s not occupied with expressing motions. Some people refer to this void as being void (empty) of consciousness period, this is supposed to be our true state. I’m not sure how a void is supposed to exist in this way without a consciousness being aware of it’s existence in the first place!!........But in saying this, a void in my mind exists.

It’s all to do with how this void exists, not if it exists or not, or that anything else not of this void is an illusion (unreal). A consciousness void of any motion what so ever would seem to us as a complete void of nothingness, void of any consciousness what so ever, this is all due to our conditioning. We are conditioned to think and feel through motions, anything not of this motion is going to seem to us as a complete void, a nothingness. We are trying to perceive from a point of motion to a point of no motion, it’s quite understandable we are going to see this motionlessness, this God’s consciousness, as nothingness, a complete void. So anything other than this void is going to be judged as an illusion by some people.

Perceiving beyond motion: Now observe yourself perceiving from a point of being motionless. From a point of this God’s consciousness, all you become aware of is consciousness expressing itself in various ways through motion, this doesn’t now make being motionless an illusion just because it’s motionless. Nothing is a true illusion, just like a void needs to exist, you need consciousness to judge what is and isn’t an illusion, illusions can only exist through consciousness though it’s judgment. This is why  God’s consciousness doesn’t judge as opposed to observe, there is no motion in this God’s consciousness to be expressive of consciousness. This however doesn’t make observing various forms of consciousness expressing itself an illusion, even though such consciousness’s are unaware of their own God’s consciousness. This would be like saying someone I can’t see behind me must be an illusion because I am unaware of them, being unaware doesn’t denote an illusion, it’s just simply being unaware.

Let’s look at this in this way. In my last post I related a creek bed, with water running over  pebbles and into rocks, to our reality. This was stating that this reality is all about motions and different types of motions depending on the types of egos being expressed.  Now put yourself in a reality (a universe) of far less motion, just like we are to this reality, you are conditioned to that reality, would such consciousness’s think  and perceive the way we do? They couldn’t, because each reality has it’s own unique cycles of motions that influence the consciousness’s that exist within these cycles, these motions influence how aware these consciousness’s are going to be, this doesn’t make any other consciousness existing in a different reality an illusion.

Being of motion and motionless: Some people think we are only this God’s consciousness, this one consciousness and not all these separate consciousness’s expressing various forms of motions, in other words motion is again an illusion, it’s not real.

Being of a consciousness of motion or motionless, it’s still consciousness, it’s still one consciousness expressing itself in various ways because this consciousness is of motion and motionlessness, to me, only a controlling ego would judged otherwise. Of course the ego wants to always be something more grandiose than what it is, that’s quite understandable and natural within the influences we exist under, after all, it’s a reality occupied with motion which can keep us unaware of our motionless self, or, preoccupied with our motionless self.  As always, balance is the key.

If we were conditioned to realities with less motion, we would think and react completely different to what we do within realities like this one,  it would be impossible to react any different to the influences of motions within a reality unless we were ourselves more aware. This is due to each reality (universe) having it’s own influences on consciousness. The reason why not all consciousness’s react the same within a particular universe, is due to becoming aware beyond these influences of motion of cycles. Each galaxy and solar system has it’s own influences as well.

Less motion = more awareness, the less of motion we are within ourselves, the less these cycles of motion will influence us, take a person who meditates a lot for example, they express less motion therefore become more aware. Modern day science expresses a lot of motion, however, the Bhagavad gita is different within it’s science understandings mainly because it expresses less motion. It’s as much about the  awareness than it is the motion of this awareness. In other words the teachings of the  Bhagavad gita shows an awareness of the implication of expressing such awareness before turning this awareness into motion, actually, the bible does the same, the ten commandments is a good example of this.

Consciousness works the same  no matter what consciousness it is, the less it’s occupied in expressing this consciousness, the more aware it becomes due to being less preoccupied with the motion of this consciousness.  We however exist in a reality of motion, all we need to do in my mind is find balance within this reality but at the same time being aware that the more of motion we are expressive of, the less aware we become. Once we find this balance, our existence will change quite dramatically I feel.

The Universes Reality, A River of Motion

Written by Mathew Naismith

Expressing humanism: I recently started up another blog titled, The Greek Crises, A New Revolution. Yes, it’s all about motion, a reaction that causes even more motion not less, this seems to be going against what spirituality is about,  a state of consciousness that is less about thought and more about existing with little motion. This new blog of mine is all about motion therefore  thought, it seems to have nothing to do with spirituality and more to do with humanism. Humanism relates to doctrines that emphasise a person's capacity for self-realization through reason thus rejecting spiritual and religious ideological views and beliefs.

In this new blog of mine, you could say I am being highly judgmental of other people, judgment is very humanistic, it also  has very little to do with spirituality. To be in judgment, one has to judge a worthy or an unworthy, a bad or good, negative of positive, to me this blog doesn’t express such traits. Yes, it is obvious that Greece is in trouble brought about by various circumstances, circumstances that shouldn’t have happened if the country was run a little more efficiently by certain people in power.  People in power need to have the love of the people, not the love of power and money  above and beyond the good of the people.

The universes reality; we presently exist in is all about motion, a motion brought about by cycles within the universe itself, for example,  the suns within each solar system are influenced by a cycle, these suns are all about motion not motionless like we experience through spirituality. This universe is all about motion that creates realities of motion, basically, by going along with motion, all you are doing is going with the flow of  influence from the universe itself, in other words, motion is a natural process of this universe we exist in. Spirituality is about the opposite, it’s about being aware of our motionless self as well, it’s like yin a yang, once these two come together, they start creating, our motion and motionless self is the same.

What happens when there is no balance between a married couple for example? You get conflicts, now what happens when there is perfect balance between couples? This is obvious. This doesn’t mean motionlessness or motion on it’s own creates an imbalance therefore conflict, it means when motion and motionless come together, there has to be balance between the two for their to be harmony. This takes both of them not to judge the other but be the observer of the other without judging an unworthy or worthy. When there is no balance, there is always a worthy and an unworthy but when there is balance, worthy or unworthy doesn’t play a part, it actually doesn’t exist due to this balance.

Finding true balance: Now man, as a whole, has fully taken on the influences of the universe, he has expressed motion to it’s fullest extent, the degradation of this planet, for example,  shows this quite plainly. Like the Sun, man too has a cycle, once this cycles runs it’s course, that will be the end of the cycle and man himself. Universes motions are all about cycles and so are we, however, like other universes that aren’t about cycles of motion, we too are not just about cycles of motion but motionlessness. As you could imagine, it is not easy bringing this balance between motion and motionless into a reality that is all about motion. Spiritual awareness however is all about bringing in this balance, it’s not an easy road to tread but well worth the effort when we do find this balance individually or collectively.

We shouldn’t judge motion as being unworthy or worthy to express as we shouldn’t  judge motionless worthy or unworthy to express, it is however totally spectacular when we  find true balance between motion and motionlessness individually within ourselves, this reality, as a whole, has yet to be created collectively like this. If an individual can find balance, why can’t the collective, it’s all consciousnesses no matter how you look at it?

The size of the consciousness means nothing, is the collective consciousness larger than the individual consciousness? Not when you see consciousness for what it is, it’s one consciousness not many consciousness’s making up an even bigger consciousness than consciousness itself. To find balance, man will have to start thinking differently like this, once this occurs, balance for the collective will become a realisation, not a fantasy.

A Perfect Balance within a Reality of Duality

Written by Mathew Naismith

I’ve been a little busy lately on numerous discussion boards and communities, what comes out of these discussions are amazing and at times worrying. You see I am an advocate against bullying; this has been something that has been taking up my time recently.

I was going to share my recent write ups on bullying but I really need to leave this alone at the moment, instead I will focus on different facets of spirituality by sharing some of my replies on these boards and communities with you.

The following is in relation to judgement and living in the now.

The strange thing is, if everyone just lived in the present, the now, we would have total peace and harmony, this is mainly due to judgement, how can we judge when there is no past or future and how can our egos take ownership if there is only the now? Just be to me is of the now.

Just be is in my mind taking on a non-dualistic mentality as opposed to a mentality based solely on duality, our existence is still in a reality of duality but our mentality is of non-duality, to me this is perfect balance, I could be quite incorrect with this though but for some reason I don't think so.

But Then

Now the following reply of mine is going to sound contradictory to the above.

Judging judgment as just being bad is awfully negative to me but that is what a lot of self-proclaimed positive people do.

Ego/judgement is a necessary element within human existence, it can't exist without it.

The problem really is when we misjudge and continually misjudge, all wars are caused through misjudgements, "my way is better than yours so I will force my way onto you". Look at the Dark ages for example, my way is better than yours, Hitler was the same and the religious extremists today are but further examples of misjudgement.

What would happen if we didn't misjudge, would there be any conflicts? Surprisingly, if we weren't misjudgement each other, this would mean we are understanding of each other, you can't create conflict through understanding, it's misunderstanding that creates conflict not judgement itself.

I utterly concur with you Lisa, good one.

These two replies of mine were in reply to different topics, the first one titled, Acceptance of what is---the truth of enlightenment....  and the last one titled, The Purpose of Judgment. They are different titles but they both spoke mainly of judgment.

Can we in a reality of duality stop judging altogether, yes but is it necessary? The answer is no as the last comment explains, we need to judge and it’s the way we judge that defines a reality. The point in living in the now helps us to balance out a dualistic existence with a non-dualistic mentality.  Taking on this mentality doesn’t mean we won’t judge at all, it just means we will judge a lot less and at times not at all.  Taking on such a mentality will actually totally stop us from making misjudgements.

In a non-dualistic mentality you cannot judge period, to balance this out, we then also take or keep our duality mentality as well which helps balance out our mentality between non-dualistic mentality and a dual mentality within an existence of a reality of duality.

Dual mentality = judgments + misjudgements + past + present + future

Non-dualistic mentality = the absence of judgment period + the now

We should remember it’s our mentality that creates realities, if our mentality isn’t balanced; anything could happen and is happening, existence then became random and chaotic.

Let’s now look at combining a non-dualistic mentality with a dual mentality giving us a balanced mentality.

Duality and non-duality mentality = judgement + past present and future + the now

Notices that within this balance misjudgements and the absence of judgement period is excluded, this is because misjudgements and the absence of judgement period aren’t a part of a balanced mentality.  Within this balance you no longer have conflicts; this is due to there being no opposing trait, once you drop misjudgements, the absence of judgement also become null and void within a balanced mentality in a reality of duality.

If I was to exist solely in a non-dualistic reality, there would be no need to have this kind of balance mainly because there is nothing to balance; it’s all of the same thing, this isn’t the same with existing solely in a reality of duality however.  If we don’t have balance in a reality of duality, this imbalance causes chaos and destruction quite automatically and the less we are balanced within our mentality, the more chaos and destruction we will create.

This is where I feel a balance between non-dualistic and dualistic mentalities is a must if we want to create a better more balanced existence within a reality of duality.

Time, the Mother of all Creation

Written by Mathew Naismith

Please, please, if you are absolute within your views that time is an illusion, please don’t take what I’m about to say personally.  I have simultaneously been in discussion with a number of people recently who believe without a doubt that time is an illusion even while they are existing in a fragmented consciousness and a consciousness of fragmented truths.

I know if I truly knew the absolute truth I wouldn’t be able to exist in time or even perceive to exist in time, my vibrations would change that much that I would simply disappear similar to what happened to the Mayans.  When listening to others speak of absolute truths, we must try to remember they can’t possibly be speaking of absolute truths. I’m not sure how anyone in their present state of awareness can say without a doubt time is an illusion. Time to me isn’t all we are but it’s not an illusion without a doubt.  In time we can receive fragmented parts of an absolute truth but never the whole of an absolute truth. What I think we seem to be doing is trying to make this part of an absolute truth whole by surmising what the rest of an absolute truth is about, this of course distorts what absolute truth we do have making it nothing like absolute truth in the end.

Why do so many of us want to believe without a doubt that time is an illusion? When we go into a timeless state of consciousness, away from the influences of the consciousness of time, we feel whole and at peace and fully aware, we can even become awareness itself so this must be who we truly are making anything of time an illusion. The ego does not like the balance of the yin and yang, it either wants to feel good or bad.  In this state of timelessness we really do feel good especially in regards to a consciousness of chaos. Would not the ego deceive us by making us believe time has to be an illusion in this case?

While in this timeless state, are we aware of time? No for the main reason time can’t exist within a timeless state so again time must be an illusion!!

Most of us in a consciousness of time don’t even know of the existence of a timeless state of consciousness, does this make a timeless state of consciousness an illusion?  Most definitely and adamantly for a lot of people, so while in a state of timelessness, wouldn’t this also be the case, knowing without a doubt that time is an illusion? It is quite obvious most of us would think time is an illusion in a timeless state of consciousness, so do all the people who experience a timeless state of consciousness believe without a doubt that time is an illusion?  Most definitely not like some people in a consciousness of time don’t believe timeliness is an illusion!!

So where is our balance when we adamantly believe time or timeliness is an illusion? This again comes back to the ego not wanting a balance.  Don’t be fooled about time, time gives this pure consciousness of timelessness balance and a way to create experiences from this pure awareness. To me this pure awareness is nothing without the influential balance of time, the creator of life itself.  It basically gives this pure consciousness life as a woman gives life to a new born baby, yes we still need this pure consciousness to help give life but because this pure consciousness is of timelessness, it can’t itself create life.

Why is time seemingly of ignorance and fragmented consciousness and even chaos?  Are we not ignorant of time when in a timeless state of consciousness?  While in a consciousness of time, most of us are ignorant to a consciousness of timelessness, this is why time seems so ignorant; the funny thing is, while in timelessness, we are ignorant to time but we most often refer to this timeless state of being of awareness.  The reason for this is we do feel more aware but only aware of a consciousness of timelessness, it’s a new awareness for us so we are going to feel more aware.

Time is of fragmented consciousness however this fragmentation of this pure consciousness allows this pure consciousness to be expressive of all it is. To be expressive is to be of the ego but even the ego is of this consciousness otherwise the ego wouldn’t and couldn’t exist like everything else of this consciousness.  If in this timelessness everything has always existed so has the ego.

Why is time seemingly just of chaos? You could presume this is because of the fragmented consciousness but I don’t think it is, so what is causing us this chaos in time when we don’t feel chaos period in timelessness?  This comes back again to the ego not wanting balance, this doesn’t make the ego bad just that we have allowed the ego to control us instead of using the ego to be expressive of this pure consciousness  in a balanced way.  Once the ego takes control we have lost balance which gives us chaos.  What balance do a lot of us have between time and timelessness? We don’t have balance because we have allowed the ego to take control and tell us what an illusion is.

I know a number of people who believe time or timeliness is an illusion aren’t going to comprehend this, when you are in a true timeless state, all you want to do is be in time and visa-versa.  But when you are in a true timeless state there is only awareness nothing else, how could pure awareness desire to be in time again, that is impossible?  Balance, a balance between time and timelessness, yes it’s impossible if we are unbalanced but when we become balanced anything is possible. If I wasn’t balanced between these two consciousness’s I wouldn’t be aware of either time or timelessness, depending in which consciousness  I am aware in, like many people in time aren’t aware of a consciousness of timelessness.

To me time is just as real as timelessness; they are of different consciousness’s but of consciousness all the same.  I just appreciate and acknowledge the mother of time, that is it!!

PS I should also mention, timelessness isn’t actually of absolute truths as time isn’t of absolute truths, it’s the balance between these two consciousness’s that is the absolute truth, well to me anyway.

Supplement: The way we perceive time to be and what it is, is two different things. Time to me is a consciousness as timelessness is a consciousness. With our limited consciousness, we perceive time to be other than what it is.

You’re not measuring anything in a true sense but defining a consciousness that creates. A non-creating consciousness is timelessness.

Time therefore to me is a consciousness that creates or a consciousness that is able to create like the universe for instance from pure consciousness.

Thought and Thoughtlessness

Written by Mathew Naismith

I know I have covered this ground before but I am at present in a couple of personal conversations with others about science and spirituality in general on the net.  To most people what does science and spirituality depict especially in western thinking countries, opposing sides or a unison of different perspectives/ideologies?

Before I go on, what has science and spirituality got to do with thought and thoughtlessness?  To most people science is about thought and spirituality is about thoughtlessness, this brings me back to my recent image depicting two opposing polarities either fighting it out for control or working together in unison to give balance. This image, and it’s message, sparked a few discussions.  Science minded people don’t believe in evil, as in like a devil, so any image depicting evil will be slammed without further thought.  When you first look at this image all you can see is evil plus the message underneath this image also mentions the word evil so to a science minded person this image and it’s message is all about evil even though they don’t believe in evil.

On the other hand there were spiritually aware people who didn’t
see evil in the image even though the message depicted the word evil a number of times,  it was two opposing polarities uniting together to give balance. This changed the interpretation of this message to there is no evil.  Being spiritually and science minded I saw both which is in sync with the spinning lady.

Now if we take this image and replace these two characters within the image with words like thought and thoughtlessness, science and spirituality, what is then the message within the image realising the character on the left is nasty looking and the one on the right looks pleasant? Which one is represented by science (thought) and spirituality thoughtlessness)?  But of course both science and spirituality believe they are of the pleasant character which leaves the other to be of the opposite character and we wonder why we have chaos in the world!!

Thought and thoughtlessness give us chaos even though thoughtlessness is supposed to be all calming and collective, it still produces an opposite within it’s actions because it believes, without a doubt, thought is of chaos.  This brings us back to action reaction, push and pull.  By pulling thoughtlessness we are pushing thought away as if it’s something unbecoming, this gives us a reaction which in turn creates more chaos.  How many centuries have spiritually aware people been pushing away thought and pulling in thoughtlessness but the world is just as chaotic as ever if not more so? Is science as a whole reacting any better?  I can’t honestly see either science, which is represented by thought, being any more pleasant than spirituality which is represented by thoughtlessness but of course people of either camp believe otherwise which of course gives us more chaos.

Now let’s take another interpretation of this image into consideration, neither is good or bad just opposing forces coming together to give balance.  Take notice of the two hands together as one to give us balance, we neither have thought or thoughtlessness being depicted as either character as our main focus now in on the hands giving us balance between thought and  thoughtlessness. To me both science and spirituality have killed off multitudes of people, how many people is science killing off today and not just through it’s weaponry. The recent nuclear reactor disaster in Japan is a good example of this which is far worse than we are made to believe.

Which one now is depicted as the nasty character? They both are or neither is. If we are going to go along with both, we are only going to continue the chaos because both will see the other as the nasty character.  On the other hand if we go along with neither we will have balance which is depicted by the clenching of hands.

Being aware of the push and pull effect will give us the understanding actions will give us reactions no matter what the action was in the first place. I know a lot of spiritually aware people don’t see their thoughtlessness as being a reaction but honestly it obviously is. If thoughtlessness wasn’t a reaction (pulling) why would we be wanting to be in thoughtlessness unless it was against thought? This action no matter what gives us an opposing force resulting in chaos….

The easiest way is to see no thought or thoughtlessness, no opposing forces battling it out but a culmination of all of being as one.

Defining and Finding Balance

Written by Mathew Naismith

Balance is a tricky little beaver because it is usually defined by our own perception of what balance is, some people believe love will give us balance and others believe hate gives us balance.  Thinking that hate gives us balance is shown right throughout history, Hitler is a good example of this and so was the Roman Empire.  The reason hate or a dislike of another culture seemingly gives us balance is the peace proceeding such dominance, you rid the world of opposition you have peace.  This actually worked to one extent or another during Roman dominance, the short lived dominance of the US and supporting countries like Australia is but another good example of this.

The same mentality of thousands of years ago still holds today, promiscuity is rampant, slavery of one kind or another is rampant, piracy is rampant, corruption is rampant and so on.  We might be more knowledgeable technologically but we still hold the same mentality from the Roman times. This shows us how different knowledge is to awareness, if most of us were aware, would we still have this quite outdated mentality still?

Yes I know a lot of people in the west are going to say we no longer have slavey in western thinking countries but we do, to the system, we are just slightly different to the slaves of old.  This new slavery system hugely benefits the multinationals because they can gain so much more wealth through this newer system of slavery.

On the opposing side of this outdated mentality we have a spiritual renascence occurring especially in western thinking cultures and communities. Science is also coming of age delving into things it once thought of being hoogly-boogly (fanciful/delusional) but where does all this leave us?  Basically in chaos, as soon as you have extreme opposing sides you have chaos, love is but one example of this extreme which is in responds to an outdated and highly unaware and most often hatful mentality.

I explained in a recent post of mine, why I think this reality is balanced however I didn’t seem to explain enough to why I think it’s balanced. Just because you have extreme opposing sides doesn’t make a circumstance unbalanced, if Hitler took over the world we would still have balance but this would have been accomplished through extreme fanaticism. If you have no opposition you have balance and peace, Napoleon is another good example of this.  However Hitler and Napoleon still had opposition to subdue as did the Romans.

What I have been talking about here is extreme opposites however what if we bridged the gap between these so called opposites, would any clash between these lesser extremes be as chaotic?

Let’s use yin and yang for an example here of the difference between chaos and balance. You have a highly dominant yang overlording it over the yin, do you still have balance? Yes because you still have a yin a yang at play here as it takes a yin for the yang to respond and visa-versa. However because the yang is more dominant we have more chaos and a presumed imbalance. If we brought the differences between yin a yang closer together we would have less chaos and a more humanly presumed balance.

Balance isn’t defined in how peaceful, loving or dominated we are, it’s defined by opposing differences however the less extreme opposing these differences are to each other the less chaos we will experience.  It’s the extremes of our opposites that give us chaos and a seemingly unbalanced existence not a so called unbalanced existence/reality. You could live in an unbalanced reality and not experience as much chaos as we do now believe it or not as I believe chaos is defined by our extreme opposing opposites!!

The handy thing about spiritual awareness is that it bridges, or should bridge, the gap between these opposites and the more we lesson this gap between these opposites the  less opposing they will seem thus chaos becomes a far less dominant occurrence!!

This is why meditation works so well, we sit within our own quietness seeing little difference of anything.
