Awareness is Illumination

Written by Mathew Naismith

Physical Awareness: This post is going on from the discussions I inserted in my last post which relates to paradoxes, for example, light exists in the same space as dark, time exists in the same space as timelessness and so on. What do we do when we want to become aware of something in a dark space? We switch on a light to become aware of what is in that space, light is all to do with awareness and dark is to do with an unawareness, however , light and dark still exist in the same space. Basically what this is saying is, awareness and an unawareness exists in the same space at the same exact time, even in a physical existence.

Within this reality, is not an unawareness and an awareness existing in the same space in the exact same time? This is all happening in the same exact space as the reality we exist in represents the same space. What this means is paradoxes do indeed exist, however, in other conscious realities that are unaware of the existence of the possibility of paradoxes, they don't. The reason for this is simple, light and darkness conceals the other from itself, in this case, even when a consciousness is predominately influenced or blinded by light illumination, such illumination conceals what is within the dark. Even when a consciousness is illuminated by light, such consciousness is quite unaware of what is in the darkness, in the first place, light makes us unaware of darkness!!

We still might think paradoxes just don't exist, darkness is unable to exist were light is.  When you switch on the light, where does the darkness go? It's gone nowhere because it's still there which is shown when you turn the light off again, the darkness reappears only because the light made you quite unaware of the darkness!!

Let's look at people who have the same number of male and female chromosomes, is not a male and female form existing in the same exact space and time as the other?  Let's look at the planet we are existing on, is there not a light and dark continually coexisting in the same space as on this planet?  Let's look at the universe itself, is not light and dark coexisting in this same space, being that the universe is represented by the space it exits in!!

Non-Physical Awareness: All I have talked about so far is physical awareness, how physical light and dark determine what we will become aware of, of course the perception of  light and dark is determined by our five senses in this case. Our eyes can't see what they can't see and they can't see the dark while illuminated by light. In a physical state of existence, it is obvious we are always going to be  unaware of something!!

In actuality, light illumination has nothing to do with becoming aware beyond the five senses. When we go beyond our normal conditioning of predominantly using our five senses, which are of course finite, awareness itself makes us aware of everything, even in the most darkest places. The reason for this is due to there being no true light or dark when in a state of awareness beyond the five senses. In this state, paradoxes don't even exist but they do still exist in other states of awareness that are influenced by the perceptions of  dark and light and time.

Indeed, even in a timeless state, a consciousness could so easily perceive that time doesn't exist therefore everything of time is perceived as an illusion. Being predominantly influenced by, for example,  time or timelessness, dark or light, gives us  preconceptions in that time can't exist in the same space as timelessness, the same of course goes with  light and darkness and anything we perceive that can't possibly exist in the same space at the same exact time.

Physically, when we go into a dark space and switch on a light, we illuminate that space to make us aware of what is in that space, illumination beyond the five senses and human perception doesn't work in this way, it works by being aware of all off what is beyond the perception of light and dark, time and timelessness.

Basically what I am saying is, light isn't illumination beyond the five senses, in actually, the five senses delude us by making us unaware of perceiving beyond the five senses.  Indeed, it is obvious to how such a created delusional reality is created, the perception of light and darkness deludes us to a perception beyond the five senses. In a sense, such realities become an illusion only because these limited (finite) perceptions make us unaware of anything else beyond the limitation of the five senses. In this case, the five senses become all we are.

Now while in a state of time and dark and light, we can become aware of a timeless state, perceiving from this state, we can perceive that everything of time doesn't truly exist, it's all an illusion. This of course would make dark and light an illusion as well. This perception is of course not wrong but it's not totally right either, this is why right and wrongs, dark and light, don't exist but at the same time they do. This of course depends on the reality we are perceiving  through. While in a state of time, we will be influenced by the perception of time, while in a state of timelessness, the same goes as each state, when separated from the other, will give us a certain fixed perception making us quite unaware of other states. Within this perception, influenced by separation of one state from the other, for example, time and timelessness, dark and light, the perception of a wrong and right exist.

This however changes when we no longer separate ourselves from any state but perceive through the coexistence of all states. In this state, everything becomes an illumination, nothing is concealed for the sole reason this is the state of an observer  rather than a participator. In this state as an observer, light or darkness plays no part of what one can become aware of because all is revealed, nothing is concealed in this state as, the reason for this is again quite simple.

In recent posts, I've state that this timeless egoless state is who we truly are, this is only the case if we can perceive we are also of time and darkness and light. However, if we perceive that all of what times represents is an illusion, therefore isn't a part of who we are, this timeless state becomes anything but who we truly are. We are all of what is, including the illusion and delusions and everything that the darkness and light creates. Once you can perceive that everything you experience and are aware of is a part of you, no matter how delusional it seems, being aware of this illuminates you to everything. In a sense, once you can perceive that paradoxes exist in one state but not in others,  you are starting to become aware of your observing self, a self that illuminates everything without question.

It's handy to realise that a consciousness that is of infinite perceptions, has no boundaries because it's not limited to finite perceptions, a perception that separates itself from all other perceptions, in other words a state of consciousness that separates itself from all other states of consciousness. There are absolutely no boundaries.......this is until we predominately exist in finite realities, realities defined by boundaries, in this state, there is no true illumination as there is no true sense of awareness, only what the light allows us to become aware of in place of the dark. Once you push something away by pulling something in, you have lost all sense of a true illumination, an awareness beyond boundaries and limitations.

Do Influences Around Us Make Us Wiser?

Written by Mathew Naismith

I had a very interesting rebuttal in regards to my quote. "It is wise to be influential, it is unwise to be predominantly influential for there is no wisdom in one's own influence".

The quote is referring to it's wise to be influential, why be aware and wise without sharing it? The last part of the quote is also referring to it's unwise to be egotistical in sharing in one's own influences, "My own influence is the be and end all". How many ideologies have taken this view? "This is all the knowledge you need which of course negates all other ideologies". This view in my mind isn't true, where is the wisdom in just knowing of one view when the world around us is of numerous influences?

Predominantly knowing about one ideology only tells us of a certain influence within our environment, would a truly wise person then ignore all other influences within their environment? Not to me.

The rebuttal I received in relation to this quote was extended and quite analytical, to them, my quote was totally grammatically incorrect so made no sense at all. The following is part of the reply I received from this person.

Firstly, influences do not make you wise. In fact, the more you are influenced, the less integrity and strength of character you have. You should never, never, never be influences by anyone or anything.  You should analyze everything  yourself until you arrive at your own conclusions.

My own experiences have indeed made me wiser which are mainly based on other people's influence on me, for example, school teachers influenced me so I could read a write for starters. I also certainly don't believe in analysing everything myself, this is an indication of the ego being in control. Vast amounts of knowledge usually turn into egotism not wisdom unless we are aware of this. Many people  thinks that wisdom can only come from knowledge and not from other people's influence upon us. I can myself analyse too much because of the knowledge I have, but because I'm aware and not just knowledgeable, I am often aware of how my analytical reasoning can, and most often does, influence me to incorrectly egotistically judge and analyse.

Knowledge allows one to analyse, awareness then allows one to analyse free of egotism, wisdom then tells us this is but the tip of the iceberg, no knowledge is the be and end all as everything is always evolving as the environment around us tells us. It is wise to be influential and being aware that knowledge is always evolving, what is known today wont' be known tomorrow as this knowing is always changing.

I think we can put too much emphasis on knowledge and being educated especially to the point when the ego takes complete control of us. A brain predominantly based purely on analytics most often replaces our intuition and our natural instincts. At this point, we will only analyse our environment purely based on analytics and the knowledge we have at hand at that point. In this case, we are foregoing any influence of our own intuition and natural instincts giving us a totally different perspective of all things.

As of this post, a lot of my posts come from other people's influences upon me, if I only relied on my own insights and the influences I have had in my life, my posts wouldn't be worth reading. It would be like dogmatically following a certain ideology to the bitter end no matter what. My own wisdom tells me this action would be daft, an action of no relevance towards a constructive outcome.

As we become spiritually aware, we will become open to other influences beyond human perceptions, should we then ignore these influences because our analytical analysis can't perceive beyond human perceptions? We must remember, human knowledge is limited to it's own human perceptions, further knowing can only be obtained through perceiving beyond these human perceptions that at first make no sense. This takes one to be aware of perceptions and knowledge beyond our own human perceptions and analytics. This is fundamentally why knowledge isn't the same as awareness or that knowledge can bring on awareness or wisdom, it can actually be limited to it's own perceptions, you don't get this with awareness because you are aware of this for starters.

If I analysed all the quotes I have read through human perceptions and knowing, very few of the quotes I read would make sense, in actuality, a lot of the quotes I have read seem to come from a perceptions beyond human analytics and perception.

Can we become too analytical? Most definitely as all analytics are based purely on human perceptions which are limited, sorry ego.......Analytics are based purely on comprehension, if the analytical mind doesn't comprehend it, it just can't exist or it makes no sense.

Should everything we are open to make sense?  I hope not, if this was the case I wouldn't be evolving. Fire didn't make sense to cavemen, did they then put the fire out because their analytical minds couldn't work out how fire actually existed? What they relied on was intuition and their natural instincts, their egos didn't need to know any more than this.

I think it's wise to be aware that knowledge alone will not bring on wisdom, if this was the case, we wouldn't be as destructive as we are now, it would be quite the opposite. Wisdom can't destroy, especially what it relies on for it's existence, but knowledge used on it's own can and most often is highly destructive. It would certainly seem our knowledge is ignoring the influences around us otherwise we would indeed change  our ways. To me it makes no sense in ignoring the influences we have around us but that is what a lot of us are obviously doing.

This is purely based on that knowledge gives us wisdom and the influences around us don't. In a sense this seems correct, we have all this influence around us but we are no wiser!! In actuality, a lot of us are wiser specifically because of the influences around us. The only people who seem to lack wisdom are the people who wholly rely purely on human knowledge and perceptions to obtain wisdom. I would myself rather rely on the influences of  people and other sources around me to make me more aware of wisdom, human analytical perceptions just don't do it for me, they are way too limited but each to their own.

Pain Reality - The Healing Process

Written by Mathew Naismith

I've been nagged in the last 18 hrs with, "You need to write about pain and how the reality we exist in defines the physical and mental pain we will experience". In other words pain is defined by the reality we are experiencing, in certain realities pain just can't exist, this is due to compassion by the collective within a reality. Pain within these realities is dealt with before pain even gets to a painful stage, this is quite the opposite within this reality, actually, many people live off of people in pain and sickness in this reality, this isn't so in other realities.

Pain isn't a part of or even a necessary part of all realities, actually, very few realities are painful in any sense, this reality is an exception.

Synchronicity: I had a good internet friend of mine post the following on a Google community.

Compassion

We all have compassion within us.
If a tear comes to your eyes or you feel the pain when you suffer, or see others  suffering, human or animal that is compassion you are feeling.

Do not be afraid to show your compassion.

Do not be afraid to feel and to acknowledge your feelings.
This world and the humanity needs our compassion much more than ever before.
Let your tears flow and accept what you are feeling.

Your heart begins to open much more with feelings of compassion and your capacity to care for another increases even more.

You also feel a connection towards everything and everyone as your heart blossoms like the Lotus that rises from the depths of the muddy pool.

My first reply was as follow.

Awareness and compassion go hand in hand, one can't exist without the other.

This was agreed upon by other commentator's, I then followed up with a more comprehensive reply as below.

It's funny to think a lot of people who are not compassionate are only this way because of an unawareness, for example, would multinationals use and abuse other energy forms if they were truly aware?  Would a child molester abuse children?

The funny thing about child molesters is, a lot of them were also molested as children. They are aware of what they are doing but only to a certain extent, pain usually hinders us becoming aware beyond the pain experienced making us unaware.

Multinationals unawareness comes from opulence, they desire and it's this desire that makes them unaware. Two quite different scenarios creating the same dilemma, unawareness therefore  unfeeling. I could be incorrect with this but I got a feeling not.

To my surprise I received the following reply.

I am a survivor of child molestation. And I definitely would never harm any child. We are also, as survivors much more likely to be raped repeatedly again, to become homeless, to struggle with substance abuse or dependence issues, to have PTSD, and many other long-lasting issues directly connected to our molestation as a child. Bad example. Your words hit me personally, raw and vulnerable. My situations and circumstances have made me so much more loving, compassionate and giving to children, and especially to children who are living in poverty, or starved for attention themselves. Awareness is key. Check your statistics. And don't make general assumptions. Yet again, Awareness is key. Thank you

I replied with the following.

Assumptions, you are assuming yourself I wasn't abused, I also worked with paedophiles as well in the welfare arena. I didn't say all the people who were abused in this way turned out to be abusers themselves but I do know a great number of them do. So many become un-compassionate because of the pain, I know this to be fact KL.

I worked in the welfare arena twice over in my fifty two years, I'm not assuming anything, I know by actual experiences and working in the welfare arena.

Pain can and does make people unaware, it made you quite unaware of me did it not, you assumed because you were unaware? See my point about pain and how it can make people unaware, it blinds people to the truth KL? Abusing yourself is still abuse KL!!

You and I were the lucky one's, I helped many out in the disability field in particular by using my own life experiences. Some people use the pain to assist others through compassion, many others use the pain to cause more pain, this is a fact of life KL, have you abused yourself? It's still abuse KL.......

I should also state I stated the following.

"The funny thing about child molesters is, a lot of them were also molested as children".

This is saying a lot of child molesters have been abused themselves, this isn't stating that all child molesters become molesters themselves or become un-compassionate.

Pain most often leads to an unawareness or ignorance, what kind of reality are we existing in?

This is funny, I was going to write a post about pain and  how the reality we live in creates pain when it doesn't have too. It's the reality we accept that automatically creates the pain and ignorance. In certain other kinds of realities this doesn't exist, this is due to everyone being compassionate, this of course takes the collective to be aware. It all makes sense but it takes the collective to over come the pain through compassion especially of oneself to become aware.

You need to be aware to become compassionate but you also need compassion to become aware in certain circumstances!!

I think this person had to misconstrue what I actually stated within my second reply to get me to write about the connection between pain and realities, I wasn't going to write this post, this was until I received their reply. It's funny how we a prompted at times.

Pain can indeed influence us to make misconceptions and misjudgements of others and life circumstances,  this of course adds more pain to the reality we are experiencing, however, is it the reality that causes the pain or is it the pain that creates  realities of pain to begin with?

Painless realities: We exist in a universe that is extreme within it's motions, the universe itself is expanding out at a phenomenal (extraordinary) rate, it's also very highly active within it's star systems, there is very little that exists in the universe that is motionless. When we look at realities that are more compassionate, there is one huge difference, they exist in a reality that is less about motion. This doesn't mean they are not within a universe like this one, what this means is they are aware that these universes can influence us to become overly expressive of motions, in other words become extreme within our motions, pain is just one of these extreme motional expressions.

This pain is going to influence us in how aware we become, it will also hinder us to become wise, meaning, motionless within our expressions. You might think how can we be compassionate without expressing ourselves?  In these realities of less motion, therefore expressions, you don't have to express this compassion because it just there all the times. This is like pain for us within this reality, it's just there all the times,  within these realities of less motion, compassion is just there all the times without having to express it. In other words it's 24/7 compassion instead of 24/7 pain like within this reality.

What I am saying is pain is a part of this reality, it's one of the main influences of this reality, however, if we put ourselves in a different reality of less motion, we would no longer exist in a reality influenced by pain.

I will give you a good example of this. I've been in chronic pain since I was six years old, as I get older, my condition is worsening but I still don't take pain killers even though the pain at times becomes acute (chronic). The pain still influences me but I don't allow it to dictate to me to any great extent, it's amazing what I can and have accomplished with a chronic injury. When I'm within a motionless reality, like being in my own space, I can accomplish amazing physical feats, this is all due to being in a reality not predominantly influenced by pain. Once I come out of this reality back into this reality of motions,  pain starts to influence me more, this isn't because I'm in pain, it's because I am no longer in a relatively motionless free reality.

To me without a doubt, pain of any kind will keep us ignorant and un-compassionate, it will also influence us to make misjudgements towards others and the circumstances we come across. Pain will also hinder us to become wise, this is because pain is all about emotional expressions of motions where's wisdom is quite the opposite. Under a reality influenced by wisdom, compassion exist without any motion what so ever, there is no motion because you have nothing to react to or against.

I should also say, desire is another motion that can't exist within a reality influenced by wisdom, this is due to desire and pain being extreme within their motions.

The healing process is simple, become less expressive of motions.

Supplement: This is going to sound strange to a lot of people, I don't mind being in pain in a reality of motion because I accept that is what this reality is about, it's about motion that can be influential towards expressions of pain and desire. The thing is, this reality isn't of pain itself, it's only about motions and it can be about extreme motions. We have used motions within this reality to create pain and desire, what would happen if we learnt to use motions in a more constructive way? This of course takes wisdom and learning to become less of these motions especially extreme motions.

Something to also ponder about. You might think spiritualist in India are about control, and yes control is a motion, but their not, they about finding their truer selves, in other words being of their immortal (motionless) self rather than just being of their mortal (motional) self.  They are also about letting go of motions (control) not gaining more control!!

Pain period needs to be faced face on, it doesn't need for us to stick our heads in the sand and ignore slavery and child abuse for example, this kind of action only endorses this kind of  pain. Pain needs to be talked about otherwise it's just going to keep manifesting like it has.

Why is love healing?  Simple, it's an expression that needs very little motion, pain and desire on the other hand need a lot of motion, and of course the more motion we give them, the more destructive they become.

Facing the pain with love, as Tanuja and Michael do, works because it lessons the motions of pain. Compassion also works because this too lessons the motions of pain.

I'm sorry Tanuja for disrupting your important post by facing pain face on, I have a lot of compassion in facing the pain in the world. The worse thing we can do is stick our heads in the sand and not talk about this pain.

Pain to me is just a motion, it doesn't really have a label, this is because as soon as we give it a label, we give it more motion. Pain is just another motion that often needs compassion and love to neutralise.

The funny thing about using love and compassion to neutralise motion, is the more of motion love an compassion become, the more they are of lust and desire. It's wise to know this because the more love and compassion are expressed through motion, the less they will neutralise motions. This makes sense because you can't neutralise motions with more motions, to actually neutralise motions needs less motions not more motions. It's actually wise to express love and compassion with as little motion as possible.

Now this doesn't mean you shouldn't physically help others because it's only going to add to the motions, all this means is to try not to act in counteraction, in other words help others by just showing simple compassion without trying to counteract other motions like starvation or homelessness for example. Don't react to a situation in counteraction to another motion, just show simple love and compassion, Yes, simple love and compassion are expressions but their subtle expressions because their not trying to counteract another motion with more motions. Any healing/neutralising of painful motions takes less motions, not more motions!!

Inner Wisdom - A Paradox in Motion

Written by Mathew Naismith

Paradoxes; don't really exist, they do however exist in a reality of motion, a reality highly expressive of awareness and knowledge. While a consciousness is existing in a reality of motion created by awareness and knowledge, it's obvious to these consciousnesses that wisdom is acquired from awareness and knowledge, the point is, how do we know that wisdom exists until we become aware of wisdom? You firstly have to become aware and this takes knowledge, so wisdom is acquired by awareness and knowledge, this however is only the case while a consciousness is existing and unaware of it's motionless immortal self. In relation to our motionless immortal self, it's obvious unawareness has created awareness and knowledge otherwise awareness and knowledge wouldn't and couldn't exist.

What part of a consciousness wants awareness and knowledge to exist? Ego, what is ego? Motion, what kind of reality do we exist in? A reality of motion therefore ego. It's quite understandable that any consciousness attached to realities of motion (ego), will want awareness and knowledge to exist, and further more, believe wisdom is acquired from awareness and knowledge. This is actually quite normal and the way we were supposed to be while unaware of our immortal self, if this wasn't normal for a reality of motion, these realities of motion just wouldn't and couldn't exist.

Basically what I am saying is, realities of motion are of consciousnesses that are unaware, no wonder we use so many different ways to search for the truth from science to spirituality. The paradox is, we do need to become aware of our immortal motionless self and at the same time desist in searching for our immortal motionless self. Any motion takes us away from our motionless state, this is due to all conscious states of motion refer to an unawareness, while remembering, it's this unawareness that creates awareness and knowledge, (motion).  All we really need to do is get away from motion, meditating, praying, chanting etc. are good ways to do this, I just go into my own space and observe instead of participating all the times, and yes I do like participating as well.

It's not easy for a consciousness that is of motion itself to acknowledge that wisdom is not acquired through awareness and knowledge, to such consciousnesses, it's normal to deny otherwise until a consciousness becomes aware of it's immortal motionless self.

The paradox is, you don't actually become aware of your immortal motionless self while in a state of motion, however, we do seem to become aware, how else would we know of our immortal motionless self? The point is, you can't  become aware of anything that is of motionlessness through awareness, this would be like a literate person trying to become illiterate. This infers that an expression of motion (awareness) is going to cancel out a non-expressional motionlessness like our immortal motionless self. This immortal motionless self is pure wisdom while awareness is a motion, wisdom  is motionless, it requires no motion of acknowledgment, this includes in becoming aware of our motionless self. Tricky isn't it?

So what are people like me doing, are we not also making people aware therefore expressing motion?

Awareness: In actuality I'm not making anyone aware through what I write, yes, any consciousness that is of motion will refer to what people like me write (express) as awareness, this is correct, people like me do make people more aware but only because these consciousnesses are of motion therefore awareness. This isn't the case for our motionless self, this is wholly due to the way people like me use awareness through the process of wisdom, in other words a lot of what I share goes through my immortal motionless self. This is simply done by  being my immortal self while I write. I do have to admit though, at times I will write while expressing awareness, you have to express yourself through awareness so that other people of this reality of motion can acknowledge were people like me are coming from. This is basically what I call whispering, it's expressing wisdom through motion but in a very subtle way.

True wisdom is always expressed in a subtle manner, this is because wisdom is of our motionless self, when wisdom is expressed, it's done in a subtle way. Any expression of course relates to motion, don't ever try to avoid expressing yourself in a reality of motion for two reasons. One, once you try to become non-expressive, this reaction just becomes another motion. Two, we are supposed to express ourselves while in a reality of motion, we just haven't learnt to express ourselves in a more subtle way. This is like trying to not express egotism, don't try to not express this motion, allow it to occur when it naturally occurs and yes egotism is a natural expression in a reality of motion.

The same goes with awareness, awareness is a natural expression in a reality of motion, again don't try to not express this, this is a natural part of the process of motion, instead express your inner wisdom, this will balance out any extreme effects of motion. Yes, by all means become aware of your inner wisdom knowing that the more we are expressive, the less we are of our immortal self. By all means use awareness and knowledge but in conjunction with our inner wisdom,  remembering, awareness and knowledge expressed without wisdom are always going to be destructive. Yes, become aware of this too but in a more subtle way through the inner wisdom.

It's not an accident that more people are into meditating or learning to be in one's space or become the observer these days, this too is a natural process of  our immortal self's reaction to extreme expressions of motions. The trick is to allow this natural process to happen without using this natural process in retaliation to extreme motional expressions, remembering, extreme motions are also a natural process of realities of motions. We can indeed be enticed by this natural process of motions to continue with these extreme motions by expressing a retaliation to motion. Yes, it's indeed this tricky, this is why realities like this one, that express extreme motions, keep going on and on, the thing to try to remember here, remember your motionless immortal self, this will indeed help in balancing out a consciousness of motions.
I thought I would end this post off with a reply I received from a bloke in Malaysia in relation to wisdom.

We already are indeed the wisdom itself effortlessly when we are not seeking elsewhere for ourselves but completely being ourselves truly.  We can never find ourselves/wisdom by seeking but by being ourselves completely, wisdom reveals itself. When wisdom reveals, we finally seeing or being ourselves in all and all in ourselves.

I should also say, any action and reaction is a motion, you can't truly express wisdom, as it's of our motionless self, but you can use wisdom through motion to become less about motion and more about motionlessness, like I said, it's a paradox but only in a reality of motion.

Pure Simple Wisdom

Written by Mathew Naismith

Definition: The Dictionaries simply define wisdom as an  accumulated knowledge or erudition or enlightenment, in other words, according to dictionaries, wisdom is brought about by becoming aware (enlightened). I'm going to state here that this isn't actually true as we are quite clearly showing today, we are more aware than ever but we are just as much, if not more, destructive as ever. I don't actually know of any wise people in human history that were destructive, yes, aware people have been destructive but not the wise. This might seem strange at first until we consider the fundamental differences between wisdom and awareness/knowledge.

What is the essential component of awareness and knowledge, in other words what does awareness and knowledge need the most to even exist in the first place? Motion, and the more motivated this conscious motion is, the more aware and knowledgeable a consciousness (person) becomes. I'm actually going to state here that this isn't the same with wisdom.

Wisdom doesn't need motion to exist, actually, the less a consciousness is of motions, the wiser a consciousness becomes. A wise person will consider the destructive effects of motion brought about by awareness and knowledge, on the other hand, an aware/knowledgeable person void of wisdom will only consider the gains from expressing such motions, warring is a prime example of this and so is materialism.

Any consciousness void of wisdom, will only focus on what these expressions of motion will give them no matter what the cost........sounds very familiar doesn't it!!! Wisdom on the other hand focuses on the holistic, in other words wisdom just doesn't focus on the gains but the cost of these gains as well. A wise person will usually avoid any destructive motions, they will instead focus on constructive motions, motions that serve the collective.

Influx of awareness: We are becoming more aware and knowledgeable on a much larger scale, formal education and the internet are prime examples of this. When you consider that awareness and knowledge take motion, and the more aware and knowledgeable we become the more motions we will express, you start to understand how we have become imbalanced within the collective consciousness itself.  It's all about motion these days, we have become too focused on motions and not focused enough on being motionless, this kind of imbalance is going to quite automatically cause more destruction. The more about awareness and knowledge we become,  the more motion we will express, it's inevitable such extreme motions are going to cause more destruction. This can be avoided if we learn to use this awareness and knowledge coupled (balanced out) with wisdom.

Why does awareness and knowledge work so well when used in unison with wisdom?

This is simple, awareness and knowledge are about motion, the more aware and knowledgeable we become, the more motions we express, the internet is a prime example of this. We have obviously become highly expressive of these motions because of our standards of awareness and knowledge these days, these standards have certainly risen significantly in the past couple of decades. In the mean time some of us have become more destructive, cyber bullying is a prime example of this, this was inevitable.  Any consciousness becoming more aware and knowledge, will at times, express this kind of consciousness in a destructive way, this is so normal it's not funny.

Wisdom on the other hand is more about a motionless state of consciousness, when a wise person expresses themselves, it's usually expressed in a subtle way. This is what I call whispering as opposed to shouting. A consciousness that is aware and knowledgeable but void of wisdom will naturally shout and of course cause more destruction, however, a consciousness influenced by wisdom will more likely whisper, this whispering is usually constructive.

We also on the other hand have people who are more about motionlessness these days as well, this naturally gives them wisdom, you will notice this kind of consciousness will  more likely be constructive within it's motions. Praying, chanting, meditating, etc. are prime examples of us learning to be less about motions and more about motionlessness. The more we balance out motions with motionlessness, the more wiser we are becoming, this is all due to wisdom being of motionlessness. Wisdom is also to do with the immortal self, this figures because the immortal self is also more of being motionless.

Wisdom; has nothing to do with awareness and knowledge, this seems this way because, to become wise in a reality of motion, we first need to become aware/knowing especially of our immortal motionless consciousness. This isn't the case when you are already in this  immortal motionless conscious state.

There is no motion in this state because there is no awareness and knowledge a consciousness needs to strive for,  we might think here this is because this motionless state of consciousness is pure awareness, no motion is needed to become aware. In one sense this is true, however, for a consciousness to become aware of their own awareness is an expression of a motion, you are no longer in a true motionless state of consciousness once this awareness is expressed/known to a consciousness as any expression depicts motion.

This motionless state of consciousness is pure wisdom which awareness and knowledge are created from. In our present state of conscious motions, this wisdom is depicted as pure awareness, this perception isn't incorrect because of the state of consciousness we are presently in. If however we were in this immortal motionless state of consciousness, there is no motion therefore no awareness and knowledge but pure wisdom.

It's interesting in how awareness and knowledge are created from wisdom, to us it's a paradox because to create awareness and wisdom in the first place, takes a consciousness to become  unaware. You can only express awareness and knowledge, which creates motions, if a consciousness is unaware of it's own expressions of consciousness itself. How unaware are we of our own immortality for example? To become aware of our own immortality, we express numerous motions by gaining awareness and knowledge. A consciousness then gets themselves into trouble when they express this awareness and knowledge without balancing these expressions with wisdom. The paradox is, to become aware of balancing out awareness and knowledge  takes awareness and knowledge to do so in the first place in a reality of motion.

This is why we exist in a reality of motion, everything around us is an expression of awareness and knowledge, this however changes when a consciousness becomes fully aware that there is no awareness and knowledge in a true motionless state, only pure wisdom. Yes, to us presently existing in a reality of motion, this motionless state is going to seem like pure awareness, like I said, this perception isn't incorrect, it's just not totally correct as we will find out eventually.

Liberating Ourselves from Inner Turmoil

Written by Mathew Naismith

The cause of turmoil: First of all we need to become aware of these turmoils before we can liberate ourselves form them, this isn’t easy mostly because of where our main focus is on most of the times. Focus is the key here, but to focus, one must know what they need to focus on in the first place, this seems so simple to do but it’s not, this is due to factors that are hidden from our main focus.

For an enlightened person to be in turmoil, this would take them to be unaware for only in ignorance can turmoil exist in one’s life, actually all our dilemmas and tumultuous experiences can only be experienced through being unaware, for example, would we still be warring if we were truly aware, would we be able to express destructive traits period?  No, this is due to, “for only in ignorance can we destroy”.  We now know what to focus on here, our unawareness which brings on the turmoil in one’s life, however,  we still don’t exactly know what kind of unawareness that is bringing on the turmoil in our lives, this indeed can be tricky.

Is man, as a whole, aware that all tumultuous expressions in the world are brought about by ignorance?  We are still warring and bickering which is brought about by our differences in our  ideologies and belief systems. You have to wonder how aware are these ideologies and belief systems, that we are still warring over, made us!!  The thing is, these ideologies and belief systems are only as aware as the people who are following them, any ideology or belief system that endorses (creates) turmoil in anyway, would have to be ignored by people who are more aware because these people are showing how unaware they are through creating turmoil of any kind. Anything that creates turmoil period is unaware, however , this doesn’t mean when one expresses an ideology that upsets others, that such an ideology is being expressed through ignorance, it could also be that the people who are upset by such expressions are unaware within there own ideological beliefs.

This might sound strange, but it matters not which ideological belief systems is causing the turmoil, it’s that the turmoil exists in the first place through being unaware. Could a person into oneness be expressive within there oneness to an atheist and not create some kind of turmoil, on the other hand, could an atheist express their ideological beliefs to a person into oneness without creating some kind of turmoil?  This is why it matters not to which ideological belief system is causing the turmoil, if any ideological belief system is expressed in ignorance, turmoil will always be created. Could a truly enlightened atheist create turmoil?  The answer of cause is no, no one who is this aware would be able to create turmoil, only in our unawareness can turmoil exist. It just shows you how unaware humans are, as a whole, today, we are still creating chaos in the world which creates a lot of turmoil for a lot of people.

The point is, you only have to be aware that turmoil can only exist through being unaware, if we were to point the finger at certain ideological belief systems, we would only create more turmoil in the process. A truly aware person wouldn’t point the finger at any one thing being at fault even though they are aware that certain ideological beliefs are creating the turmoil, if they were to do so, they would be adding to the turmoil.

We do the same within ourselves, I see this happening so often with people becoming spiritual aware, the ego is at fault or a certain ideology are at fault, yes, certain ways an ideology is being used can cause turmoil, however, all we are doing is adding to the turmoil that already exists if we lay fault, in other words judge, when it’s the ignorance within how any ideology is being used that creates such turmoil.

Turmoil, awareness building: Actually it’s a good thing to go through turmoil, only as long as we are aware that all turmoil can only be created through ignorance especially our own ignorance. Going through turmoil in this case is awareness building, you become aware of your own inner turmoil which makes you aware of your own unawareness,  it’s obviously constructive to be aware of our own unawareness.

This is the point, we miss this because we are usually fully focused on our own awareness, not on our unawareness, can we then say that we are truly aware if we are not also aware of our own unawareness?  Being aware of what causes turmoil in our lives is to me obviously worth being aware of.

It’s interesting what brought this post to bare, it’s an inner turmoil I have been battling with for most of my life, I love my human expressions ,but to become truly one,  I need to humanly become more aware, this however would change the way I express myself. The thing is, if  I don’t judged my human expressions as being less unworthy than being at one, why become more humanly aware? True oneness isn’t about being in one state of awareness above all else, it’s about accepting all expressions of conciseness as worthy, in other words all states of consciousness are seen as equal either it be of oneness or otherwise. Could you imagine stating that white people are more worthy than black people, this is what we would be saying if one state of consciousness is more worthy than another within  it’s expression in my mind.

True enlightenment; is a combination of awareness and a state of oneness, not one over and above the other. True, awareness brings forth one’s enlightenment but this doesn’t make awareness more worthy than a state of oneness, actually, the act of becoming aware tells us how unaware we are in the first place, this is because once you are in a oneness state, there is nothing more to become aware of, however, in an unaware state, you have a lot to become aware of. Sadly enough, this awareness becomes our main focus which takes away the oneness within awareness itself, in other words awareness just becomes knowledge, nothing more.

Yes, to become aware one has to know what they are unaware of, so at this point we are focused on our unawareness , this is until we use this awareness as knowledge. Once this awareness is defined and used as knowledge, we are then mainly focused on what we know, not what we don't know. Enlightenment isn't about knowledge or the use of knowledge, it's about an understanding and acceptance that everything is one no matter how it's being expressed. Knowledge actually separates everything where's an enlightened awareness brings everything together.

Think on this, why would consciousness itself, within it’s fully enlightened state, choose to become unenlightened, unaware of itself in it’s various forms if being unaware is unworthy?  Yes, being unaware creates turmoil and the less aware we are the more turmoil we create, human history shows this quite clearly however, once we can express all of what consciousness is, without any part of it being any less worthy to express than another, is a good indication of being in a true oneness state. Oneness is only brought on by awareness if we don’t think this awareness is just of knowledge , in other words use awareness just to gain knowledge. True awareness is also about being unaware as well through only this unawareness can all of consciousness be expressed and accepted as one.

A true enlightened  state is like unconditional love, nothing is more or less worthy to love no matter how it’s expressed. The way humans perceive awareness to me seems way off the mark, this kind of perceptions has nothing to do with a true oneness state, with this perception, you can see why many white people today still see black people as being less worthy.

Become aware of what creates the inner turmoil but also become aware of the way we use and focus our awareness,  is it just for higher knowledge or is it for true oneness? There is a difference, one creates even more turmoil, the other less. Become aware but appreciate your unawareness with the same passion and worthiness. Becoming aware isn’t about using awareness to gain knowledge, it’s about being aware and accepting all of what is no matter how it’s expressed. This acceptance becomes easy once you get away from the human perception of black and white, oneness non-oneness, aware and unaware. The way humans perceive oneness is black and white, it’s not a true expression of oneness until we accept all expressions of consciousness itself.

I thought I would add something to this post that I think important to be aware of, everything around us tells us exactly who we are. Consider how many nationalities there are and how many languages are spoken, this tells us how vast and varied consciousness is, if we can't accept each other, how are we going to accept ourselves as a whole, as this one consciousness, it's the same thing. Each culture represents an expression of consciousness itself , all the answers are right in front of our face but we can't see them or don't want to see them. If we think one part of an expression of consciousness is better than another, all we will see is what we have judged as being better. Its' worth being aware of this.

Awareness of Our Own Expressions

Written by Mathew Naismith

Being aware: Awareness of our own expressions is to do with a simple observation process, even though this process is simple, it’s very effective.  It’s  important to firstly not judge any expression of consciousness right or wrong, just see it as an expression no matter what it is. Also this reality is highly expressive of the ego, try to observe these expressions without too much judgment, this allows  us to become emotionally detached from the ego, in turn, this allows us to become the observer.

There are huge benefits of becoming an observer other than being able to detach yourself from the extreme emotional traits of the ego, awareness is one of these benefits. I try not to judge a right or wrong with any expressions of the ego, but at the same time, allow my human self to express these ego traits quite freely. The reason I can express these ego traits is I don’t judge them as being right or wrong, they are just  expressions. If I was to deliberately try not to express these traits, that would be a good sign I have judged such traits as being wrong in some way, it's worth being aware of this.

When I humanly allow myself to be drawn into an expression of the ego, especially if I express anger or displeasure,  I spiritually, as an observer, just smile at myself  for being so expressive, in this state I don’t judge such expressions as being bad or good in anyway.  What I do is smile and it’s this smile that is a sign of awareness, an awareness of my observing self observing a human expression of my self.  If on the other hand I didn’t smile after expressing myself, especially in anger or displeasure, this is a sign I’m not aware of anything beyond human ego expressions at that time.

Being expressive: If I was aware of being an observes all the times without judgement, I wouldn’t be as humanly expressive as I am, to me this would be a huge shame. This reality is all about egoistic expressions, it’s not about being aware of our observing self all the times or being in total oneness, this reality is about expressing consciousness in various ways, not one way or the other.

So is blowing up innocent people and beheading people for example wrong?

It’s wrong in a human sense, if this wasn’t the case, there would be something wrong in this, so humanly there is a wrong and right and quite justly so, if there wasn’t, this reality would be something quite different to what it is, it would be far more expressive of egotistical traits.

True observer: Spiritually as an observer, there are no right or wrongs, if I was to judge so, I wouldn’t be a true observer, I would only be observing through judgement and bias which is an expression of the ego. Humans observe through judgment and bias, how aware has this made them?  To become truly aware, you need to firstly try to observe without judgement or bias. For anyone to blow up innocent people and behead them, is only observing through judgement and bias, this can become a sickness of the mind body and soul.

We should now be able to see how important it is to observe without judgment and bias, learning to observe without these ego traits is highly beneficial to our health and well being in many ways. It’s important to try not to avoid expressing such traits but to learn to observe them without judgment or bias.

Humanly, I still observe through  judgment and bias but spiritually I don’t, if I allowed my spiritual self to see these expressions as unworthy, I would have judged a wrong, I would no longer be a true spiritual observer.

Yes, I smile a lot at my expressive human self but I don’t judge these expressions as being unworthy of expressing, if I did, I would no longer be a true observer, this is important to realise if we want to become a true observer.

Being a true observer actually occurs quite automatically for a lot of spiritually people, this is due to becoming aware of something beyond human perceptions, perceptions influenced by ego expressions, especially, without judging these expressions unworthy of expressing in some way.

Worthiness: Yes, it’s quite difficult to not judge the killing of innocent people as unworthy, this is done by not judging these expressions as being worthy either, they are just an expression, however, each expression that is obviously destructive, is a sign that such minds are ill in some way. Anything that has to feed off from the light, innocent people in this case,  has a sickness otherwise they wouldn’t need to feed off of such light. This basically means, if you are not of the light, of this awareness, you most probably suffer with some kind of illness, this illness is defined by how destructive you are. People of this light are not usually deductive.

The following question and answer is important to become aware of, is a person who is ill any less worthy than a healthy person because they are ill?  The answer of course is no, actually any person who is ill, needs more attention not less, By judging them unworthy or wrong in some way for being ill, is an illness within itself. This all comes about by observing through judgement and bias rather than just being a true unbiased observer.

We need to become aware of our illnesses brought about by observing through judgment and bias, the less aware are, the more prone we are to these illnesses that cause us to be so destructive.

Expressive rocks: The following is a little strange to say the least, instead of people being destructive because of their illnesses, I’m going to replace people with rocks.

Imagine if each and every rock was able to be as expressive as humans, each rock is differently shaped, coloured, and because of what each rock is made out of, expresses itself differently to other rocks, they are also of different parts of the world. Now imagine these rocks, that are driven by judgmental and bias observations like humans,  humans and other innocent rocks would find themselves caught between a cataclysmic war of rocks. Instead of everything else being caught up in human conflicts, humans would we caught up in the same conflicts they cause the rest of their environment.

We are lucky, rocks don’t have the same consciousness as humans, they are also not prone to illnesses that cause them to inflict such destruction through judgmental bias observations.

In my mind, we really do need to become more aware of our own expressions and the illnesses such expressions can and do cause us, we can no longer afford being ignorant to this. A good thing to remember is, the more expressive we are, the more motion we cause,  the less expressive we are, the less motion we cause and the less motion we express, the more aware we become and the more aware we become, the less likely we will fall ill. Like being aware of proper hygiene to stop us from falling ill, awareness of perceptions beyond the ego will help us from falling ill. It’s handy looking at the ego as a virus as well, if it’s not kept in check, it will flourish and make us ill just like the lack of proper physical hygiene. It’s always worth being aware of our physical, mental and spiritual hygiene.

The Darkness of Man’s Soul and the Light Within

Written by Mathew Naismith

This isn’t altogether a dark post, actually there is a fair amount of light, more light than darkness within the visionary insights  I’ve been receiving in the last 24 hrs. Yes, this post is about obvious visions I have been receiving recently, it’s to do with a sickly colourless man sitting on a bench in a dingy dark corner of a room, imagine a dungeon except……

When I stand in the doorway of this room, I first see a sickly looking man, ill in some way because he’s skin looks grey and he is slightly stooped.  In every vision, it’s a different man but a man who is obviously experiencing  a dark existence all the same.

When I tried to approach this man to help him, I found myself being drawn towards his existence which was quite dark compared to mine, I backed off towards the doorway again, there was no way I was going to draw him away from his existence on my own. While backing off towards the doorway, I noticed a bright light to the left side of the room, this light was in full view of this man, he was not tempted at any time to walk into this light. “What will tempt this man to walk into the light out of his obvious dark existence?”

While standing in the doorway, a beautiful person gleaming with love appeared, without hesitating, the man began to move towards us.

I got a huge feeling that the man  represents the mind of man, in other words the soul of man as a collective, this doesn’t portray a very good view of man. The feeling I received from this man wasn’t good, the first word that comes to mind is distortion, a disfigurement of man’s soul through his own choice, except man is quite unaware of this disfigurement, it’s as if this kind of existence is normal and natural.

In a sense, this kind of existence is normal, it’s normal for consciousness’s that knows no better. It was funny that the bright light, in full view of this man, wasn’t enticing him, it was a warm glowing bright light but it wasn’t comforting to this man at all, actually it seemed more as a threat to him and his existence. This seemed to keep him in his existence,  it’s as if the light was opposing man and not trying to help him from his obvious dark existence.

The bright light seemed to represent the goodness in the world, it would seem these people of the light are most useful to this dark existence in various ways. It was quite understandable why this man was not going to go into the light, why be abused when you can be the abuser? No wonder this man seemed so sickly to me to the point of being feeble, darkness always needs the light to draw it’s strength from.

Now what about the person who was gleaming with love, what would they represent?

A collective for starters, I was unable to help this man on my own but as soon as another person appeared, everything changed, the man began to move towards us. At this point, the man was sucked into the light within the room, he too became the love within the world.

It is obviously going to take a huge amount of energy to change man’s ways, to entice him away from his dark existence. This huge amount of energy seems to me to be the collective good, working together, to change man’s ways. It’s a huge amount of energy because it’s representative of the collective, not individuals. The individual good was represented by the light within the room, even though this light was of love and goodness, it wasn’t a collective, “united we stand , divided we fall”, this is an appropriate quote here.

This light within  the room also didn’t seem to be enlightening to the man, probably this has more to do with the light not working together as a collective than to do with awareness. To me all light represents awareness, this is very much the same in switching on the light in a dark room, it’s enlightening. The light within this room, where the man was sitting, was all about awareness but not a collective awareness, the collective awareness to me was represented by two people standing in the doorway working together to help this man.

What I feel entice this man to move from his present dark existence was enlightenment, an awareness to there being a much better existence than what he is conditioned too. The light within this room wasn’t doing this, this was due to the man’s dark existence abusing this light to feed this man’s dark existence. You will not be enticed to become the thing you are abusing no matter how good the thing is you are abusing.  It’s obviously going to take a collective to change man’s ways without a doubt.

I’ve never had visionary insights quite like this before, it’s a good thing actually, it shows we are evolving, in other words we are collectively becoming more aware. I know why I wrote the previous post now.

Influencing the Cycles of Life

Written by Mathew Naismith

I’m impelled to write about cycles again as I received some interesting responses from my last post in relation to cycles.

Cycles only have an influential impact on us, they don’t define the extent of experience we will experience, yes, they define how we will think and act but they don’t define the level of experience we will have, this is defined in how we react to such cycles. Why don’t all people react the same when influenced by the same cycles, for example,  spiritually aware people react quite differently to the same situations than non-spiritually aware people. This isn’t just because they use certain practices, like meditation and chanting for example, it’s more to do with the awareness than anything. If you are unaware to any situation at hand, you will react quite differently compared to being aware. Dying is a good example of this, spiritually aware people are aware that there is an after life, people who are unaware of  this will react quite differently death.

We all live in a cycle of life and death but people aware to an after life, react quite differently to these cycles of life and death. Anyone aware of an after life has in fact influenced how a cycle is going to affect them, in this case of death, quite dramatically.

Cycles don’t mean this is the way we will think and behave, this is because they don’t define the actual level of influence they have on us, this level of influence is determined basically on how aware we are. Take an experienced soldier to an inexperienced soldier, which one is going to handle going into battle better?  The experience soldier of course only because he is more aware through various experiences.

Take the affects of the moon on people, if you are unaware of such affects, you will react according to the situation you are in, either it be passive or aggressive. An aware person in an aggressive situation will react differently to an unaware person, in turn change the way moon cycles has on them.

Cycles are only an influence upon us, they do not determine an outcome, in other words these cycles do not preordain future events, this is determined in how we react to these cycles in the first place. According to the Mayans, the next cycle is influenced by the feminine as opposed to the masculine, this kind of conscious change does not determine an unchangeable outcome, a preordained outcome, all it does is give us an influence to express consciousness in a certain way.

Does this mean nothing is written until it is written? Not exactly in my mind, everything is written except each time we are influenced by a cycle, we have a choice of how we are going to react to such cycles. The reason I say everything is written is due to consciousness itself not being determined by time, if consciousness isn’t determined by time, each experience from this consciousness, God if you like, is prewritten, this means every experience is predetermined. If this consciousness is not determined by time, everything has always existed therefore written.

All what is, is of this consciousness (God), this is why God does not determine how you will use this consciousness under these cycles, we ourselves determine this.

It would seem I’m saying, “the more aware you are  of the way these cycles influence us the less they will affect us”, this is true, any kind of awareness will detract from such influences. Once you are aware, you can also use these cycles to enhance an  influence of any said cycle, remembering, no cycle defines on what level we will be influenced too, cycles only define a certain influence, they don’t define on what level we will be influenced too.

One thing we can’t do is influence a said cycle, a cycle of events yes but not the cycle itself, we can however lesson the affects of cycles on ourselves by just being aware and accepting of what each cycle helps us and consciousness itself to express. Of course the more expressive we are the more aware we become, this stands to reason.

Can you exist under the influence of cycles and not be affected by such cycles in any way?

Yes and no, if you were conceived within  these cycles, you will always be influenced by these cycles, the only way to not be influenced by such cycles would be to do what occurred to the Mayans, you just disappear. Once you change your vibrations to the extent that these cycles, you were conceived within, no longer affect you, you no longer belong within such cycles. The Mayans no longer belonged within these cycles, once they changed their vibrations to something quite different to the cycles vibrations they were conceived within in the first place, they no longer belonged within such vibrations. In a sense, you can change your vibration that much that you no longer resonate with the current vibrations, you are basically out of tune with these influencing cycles. Basically, you can’t exist within a reality that you are not in tune with.

Many people are going to say I’m not in tune with these cycles, well, it’s possibly more like I don’t want to be in tune, this doesn’t mean your not in tune. Many people still express the ego,  just by deeming the ego being this that or the other, is an expression of ego so once you judge so, you still resonate with the current vibrations.

Now if you weren’t conceived within these cycles of influence, you can exist within these cycles without them having an influence upon you, this is done through taking on the vibrations of these cycles without existing within these cycles. All you are doing is taking on the vibrations of these cycles, this doesn’t mean you are influenced by these cycles. This means you are not expressive of the influence of these cycles, you are only vibrating at the same rate to exist here.

How does physical form exist?

It’s through cycles that influence consciousness to take form, in our case it’s physical form. How does a human being evolve/grow?  Through cycles, each cycle changes our vibration otherwise we would all have whiskers when we were born for example or greying hair.

If you were conceived within a universe, physical or non-physical, you are influenced, to one degree or another, by these cycles within the said universe a universes denote cycles.

Saying, while conceived under the influence of these cycles,  that you can’t just take on the vibrations of these cycles without existing within the influence of the cycles, isn’t altogether true, you can get to a state of consciousness that you only take on the vibration of these cycles. This however is virtually impossible for most people to do, you would have to stop expressing the ego altogether, not  judging that the ego itself is this that or the other is a good start. It’s worth noting that the various expressions of the ego is of our cycles/reality, this however doesn’t mean the ego is apart of all cycles experienced in all realities, each reality has it’s own influential cycles.

It truly just comes down to being aware…….
