No One is Unenlightened!!

Written by Mathew Naismith

This post is not about the age of enlightenment or reason, an age of reason and individualism, but about spiritual enlightenment where one advocates egolessness over ego. Spiritual enlightenment is a state of the absence of ego. It is often a state most egos fear to tread, usually in fear of the egos demise and all that the ego creates. In an enlightened state, all that the ego creates is simply becomes awareness, this is why this state is often referred to as a state of pure awareness and even wisdom or if you like, a state of God.

Don't mistaken spiritual enlightenment with the egos expressions of wisdom either, where wisdom is often associated with knowledge and learning. In a true enlightened state, knowledge and learning give way to a pure state of awareness and wisdom. Yes, we even have to give up our accumulated knowledge and learning, for in an enlightened state nothing can be owned or accumulated. This also means giving up the teachings of ideologies and isms, for spiritual ideologies are only of existence to serve and teach the ego about its egoless self or being. This by the way is most important if conducted in a non-abusive manner.

Make no mistake, the ego is unable to experience a true enlightened state, for an enlightened state is of the absence of ego, a state not accessible to the ego. However, this doesn't mean that the ego can't feel enlightenment as opposed to becoming enlightenment. Yes, the ego can experience enlightenment but only through feelings, not through an actual state of being enlightened, be aware though, the ego in control will try to convince you otherwise. Yes, these feelings can become a physical and mental reality, be wary though, feelings are of the ego and can become very controlling to the extent of a desire to feel good all the time. All else not fuelling these desired feelings are often critically judged as being negative or even toxic in some way.

Also, to the dislike of the ego, unconditional love is not experienced or felt in an enlightened state, for all feelings of love are of the ego. If you can feel instead of being love, it is of the ego. Yes, you can experience an enlightened state and get a feeling of unconditional love but it is your ego that is feeling love, not the egoless part of yourself. Of course feeling a true sense of unconditional love is most constructive to what the ego creates, this is instead of being destructive. Be aware, a true expression of unconditional love will embrace the negatives in the same way this state embraces the positives. In all, the ego beautifies unconditional love but only when being of this love as opposed to simply feeling this love.

Make no mistake, no one is unenlightened. I will put it this way, which a lot of people's egos won't like, once of God, always of God, or, once of energy, always of energy. Remember, you can't destroy energy but you can transform energy. Our enlightened being is simply transformed into another energy form or expression by the ego, this is all. Most often in the process, only that which serves the ego is acknowledged, all else is denounced by the ego to serve only the ego part of our whole being. I cannot express this strongly enough, no one is truly unenlightened.

Please note; most of what I have written here comes from my own experiences, at no time take what is written here to be gospel or of an unequivocal truth for all.

The Soul and Nirvana/Heaven

Written by Mathew Naismith

It is often said that the soul is having a human experience; this is instead of the soul having a soul experience. The human experience becomes primary to the soul having an experience. When everything we humanly experience and express is reflective upon the soul, I think it doesn't matter what our soul is experiencing, it is still primarily to do with the soul having the experience. Also, the soul itself doesn't separate one experience from another, it's still an experience. It is like the soul doesn't observe or experience each life lived as a separate entity or life; it is one life lives with different experiences experienced.

If you can't remember experiencing your own soul and other souls, projecting from the soul is going to be hard to do humanly; this is why a lot of ideologies make reference to the soul. "If you are not righteous in human life, this will reflect on your soul." This isn't scaremongering, it is the obvious truth observed and experienced by the soul. It is a soul projection trying to guide the human self to refrain from abusing energy as a whole. How often is, for example, Christianity and Hinduism these days shown disdain because they state what is obvious to the soul? "Refrain from abuse of energy in human life or suffer the consequences", is simply a guide for the human self otherwise the soul will suffer. Yes, the soul can become dark, in other words become ignorant to serve the ego in control.

Can a soul in deliberate ignorance (dark) only observe that we live separate lives, unlike how the soul projects it as one life lived with different experiences to be experienced? Yes, the soul itself can become this unaware through serving the ego for only through the ego can separation and abuse of energy occur. However, the only way the ego is going to comprehend anything beyond its own self, is to relate to each soul experience as being a separate entity to start with, for only the ego comprehends separate entities. This is the same as saying that the soul is having a human experience, when the soul sees it as the soul simply having a soul experience. Of course a soul that is conditioned to separating everything, will only desire to see it as many lives lived, however, as you can condition the soul to become dark (ignorant), you can also condition the soul to become light (aware). To do this one must separate energy, for the egos sake, to once again unite energy as many spiritual ideologies guide us to do.

Yes, the human self has to first see that we live many lives separate to each other to be able to then observe through a souls perspective, that there is only one life lived. It is a big deal to start with when the ego comprehends the soul, an entity not separate to the ego but often more aware than the ego. For the ego to go beyond its own awareness is astonishing, especially when you consider the abusive environment the ego has to cope with. Think on this, would not an ego in control deliberately condition the soul to primarily serve the ego, to only be of a controlling ego? I have personally experienced souls just like this; they simply didn't want to know anymore than their egos allowed them to.

As an aware soul is able to comprehend mortal egoistic existences, an aware soul is also able to comprehend immortal egoless states of being. A state, as opposed to states, where everything is just is which is the same state as pure awareness, oneness, nirvana/heaven or a state of God. I often myself touch on this state as the ego can only do. Yes, to the ego this state, what ever your ideology calls it, is an utterly beautiful state of being. This egoless state doesn't see or feel its own beauty for only through the ego is love and beauty appreciated. The problem of the ego expressing appreciation in this way is the ego in control often distorts and fragments this energy of appreciation. The appreciation of having to feel good takes over from the simple appreciation of the beauty of this state, this state then often becomes to the service of the controlling ego, to primarily feel good as much as possible no matter what. The separation of what is real and what is an illusion, what is negative and what is positive, what is wrong and what is right and so forth, becomes a priority to the ego in control to feel good as much as possible. All else from feeling good then becomes negative or even toxic.

Make no mistake, empathic people, people who are sensitive to other vibrations, often feel uneasy around vibrations not of their own. Just because it's not of our own vibration doesn't mean its negative just because it doesn't make us feel good. Yes, life has become all about us feeling good making all else some kind of negative. Of course in this state we will feel bad vibrations, vibrations that don't make us feel good. Did Jesus or Buddha, for example, avoid and ostracise every other vibration not of their own? They in actuality embraced all vibrations as of their own. You see in this state of nirvana/heaven, there is no feeling of bad or good vibrations; it is in actuality impossible to do so in this state. In a state of the absence of ego everything simply becomes just is. Of course in a state of the presence of ego we have individual souls and separate individual expressions of energy. Is a state of nirvana more worthy to be in and real than states of suffering/hell? The ego in control would state most definitely but the egoless state states there is no separation therefore no nirvana or suffering, heaven or hell, for to perceive this would be of the controlling ego.

However, to the ego there is an obvious nirvana and suffering, heaven and hell, the ego feels it and experiences it so they must exist but only to and through the ego. There is simply no separation of energy in a state of nirvana. I suppose one needs to experience this state in some way or become aware of this state through an ideology to realise this.

So is it really a human experience the soul is experiencing or is it the soul experiencing a soul experience? It really has to do with the way the existence or state a soul is conditioned to. For the ego, the soul is having a human experience. To the egoless state, it is all to do with the soul having an experience or being in a certain state. Try to remember, the ego is unable to experience a state of nirvana, a state of the absence of ego. All the ego can do is feel what this state is like, but so often it's these feel good feelings that take over us, often to the root of our soul. We then primarily focus on feeling good, in accordance with our desires, and then all else often becomes a negative as we are seeing so often today.

In truth, it is all about the soul so try not to avoid abusing energy as much as you can. Remember though, you may not always be able to avoid this, try not to allow the ego to make a big deal of this for it is what it is, end of story. Also, in a state of ego, especially a state controlled by the ego, never expect, demand or desire to feel good all the time, this is highly impractical, however, touching on a state of true nirvana/heaven can make a life experience a lot less about suffering/hell thus conditioning your soul to Nirvana/Heaven.

The Soul Experience

Written by Mathew Naismith

Yes, as of a human experience there is also a soul experience, it is really wise not to separate the human experience from the soul experience. Actually, it is wise not to separate the human or soul experience from any other experience or motion. In other words it is wise not to separate yourself from the environment as a whole; there should be no exclusions no matter what the ego dictates.

Soul: The immaterial part of a person; the actuating cause of an individual life

Actuating refers to motion; which means the soul is the motion behind each person, without the soul there is no actuation therefore motion. So what about the rest of existence that is of motion, does everything of motion have a soul? To answer this we must now look at the spirit.

Spirit: The vital principle or animating force within living things

I actually don't concur with this, that the spirit is just of living things. To me the spirit is of all things, this is the same in that energy is of all things. Spirit = energy which = motion. So what about motionlessness, a state where energy or the spirit within all things is motionless, is not the spirit, therefore energy, apart of a motionless state?

The soul experience, as of the human experience, is simply an experience. The spirit on the other hand isn't an experience but of all of what is as of energy. So no, to answer the first question, not everything has a soul but the soul is still of the spirit. To someone like me, everything is alive. I wrote some time ago about vibrations alive, in that all motion creates vibrations which make all motions alive in one way or another. The ego only comprehends what is alive and what isn't alive in accordance with the egos perception of what is alive and what isn't. It is wise not to listen to the ego which is often bias. Bias of course only creates ignorance, the deliberate unknowingness of something the ego doesn't desire to become aware of, usually in accordance with the souls experiences and human ideologies and isms.

The spirit can be of both motion and motionlessness, there are no limitations to the spirit as of the soul. Yes, soul experiences are indeed infinite in nature, where infinite experiences can be experienced by the soul, however, the soul cannot experience a state of motionlessness for motionlessness is not an experiences. It is simply being or not being, which ever your soul relates to the best.

Now, is this being or not being also of energy therefore spirit? Our egos often perceive that energy has to be of motion to exist therefore motionlessness (just being) is not of the spirit!!

Why do we become more aware or more enlightened as we lesson our motions? It is too obvious that the more of motion or the ego we are not expressive of, the more aware we become. Of course the more motion we express, the less aware be become, this is course includes the soul. This is why this just being or not being, this motionless state, is stated as being of pure awareness. Now if we become more aware the less motion we express, how alive and of energy therefore spirit is this motionless state of just being? When we so-call die, we can have a sense of being more alive, of course if our soul is controlled or primarily of the ego, the soul will have more of a sense of death. A sense of death simply represents the demise of life, a life the soul's ego is attached to, this is why it is wise to be aware of the tricks the ego can play on us, the illusions the ego can create.

My mother so-called died a while back, at no time did my ego mourn her death, even though my ego tried to. My mother was more alive than ever, but only after I helped her out of a dark tunnel. My mother was unable to go on as her life on Earth was still not at ease. My mother was never happy in the way she led her life, so after her bodily demise, my mother had huge regrets. My mother wanted to be forgiven but I didn't do this, I didn't feel I had to for there was nothing to forgive. I said to my mother," It is okay, life is what it is, no more, no less, I have no regrets and neither should you."

What a lot of people forget it is a soul experience, the human experiences dies but life is not about the human experience but the soul experience. You could say that the human experience doesn't matter then as the human experience is simply a vessel for the soul to experience life experiences through. A lot of souls live like this as this is all they know, however, to a soul that is aware, the human experience does matter. Remember, the soul is simply an immaterial part of a person, what we do in life reflects back on the soul in one way or another.

In regards to the soul and the human experience, I am simply humbling myself to the ego, to the human experience of attachments. However, the human ego that is trying to dispel the ego altogether is actually being more of the ego, for only the ego desires to dispel itself so it can no longer humble itself to itself. The egoless self has no desire or need to dispel the ego in any sense; the ego is what it is, no more, no less. To comprehend this you must look at this from a soul perspective, not a human perspective. It is primarily a soul experience, the human experience is simply a vessel for the soul to experience motion (life) through. Humanly, think very carefully what you are conditioning your soul to and yes, the way you lead your life does matter to the soul. Remember, the soul is simply an immaterial part of you, what you materially do reflects back on the soul, make no mistake about it. I suppose to really comprehend this, you must humanly experience some kind of after life experience or at least feel or know there to be a lot more to life than material life.

Avoiding Feeding the Egos Desires

Written by Mathew Naismith

Are people being offensive or is it that our egos are offended when our egos desires are not being fed by other people? I am aware myself when I am offended, that it's only my ego that is being offended, not me as a collective consciousness. If only people's egos were aware in how small the ego is to our whole self, of course to make the ego aware of this, the ego is often offended that it's not of the entire self. "How dare you offend me in this way, I am all that you are". Not too far off in how the ego in control actually thinks, not that the ego in control desires to become aware of this of course.

Yes, as you can become offended by other people's views and actions, your own ego can become offended by your own views and actions. The ratio between people stating I am offensive to them when not feeding their egos is nothing compared to my own ego in my life. Your own ego doesn't desire to be offended so it will only accept what feeds it, everything else will be judged in accordance to it's offensiveness to the ego in control. You could feed the ego everything in existence and it would still desire more, multinationals are a prime example of this. If you gave the multinationals the whole universe, would not their own controlling egos desire even more, as of any ego in control?

It's really strange for people like me; observing a reality primarily created to feed the desires of the controlling ego, where balance of the ego is shunned or denounced at all cost. A reality like this isn't strange within itself, for only a controlling ego can create such a reality as it's natural for a controlling ego to do. What is strange is observing this reality become self-destructive. You would think the ego would be self-preserving therefore embrace the balancing of itself to preserve it's existence but alas, the ego in control feeds on everything until there is nothing left for the ego to exist in or on.

I have simply lost count how many people I am supposed to have offended. As soon as people state or think this, I know they are not truly aware or aware of how defensive their own ego is to being offended. Yes, not feeding other people's controlling egos or even your own controlling ego is highly offensive to the ego in control. This is different compared to ego not in control, which simply means an ego that accepts being balanced in accordance to it's present environment. How often does an ego in control create its own environment in opposition to the present existing environment? How many spiritually aware people these days desire to do the exact same thing, to simply feed the pleasures of the egos? People like me don't feed people's egos, this is not what spirituality is supposed to be about but alas, once again the ego in control changes the present environment of spirituality to primarily serve the egos desires and pleasures!!

Think on this, do spiritual gurus or shamans deliberately go out to become enlightened? Did Jesus or Buddha purposely leave their current environment to become enlightened? No, what is purposely exercised is the detachments created by the ego, for example, desires and abuse. Enlightenment is simply a by-product of releasing yourself from the controlling ways of the ego; it can be at no time of the egos primary objective otherwise enlightenment simply won't occur. Yes, a thought of an enlightening experience is thought of but the main focus isn't on enlightenment but on releasing yourself from control altogether. Yes, to the ego releasing yourself from control seems like you are taking more control but in actuality your not, this is simply an egos perception, nothing more. The pleasure the ego feels from releasing yourself from control isn't to serve the ego, as the egos tries to make out, it's simply once again a by-product, in other words part of the process of detaching ourselves from control. This is exactly like unconditional love; unconditional love is simply a by-product of becoming aware and at no time should be abused and used as the primary objective or focus. This is exactly why the kind of unconditional love that comes from this isn't true unconditional love, it's simply becomes a desire of the controlling ego to feel more pleasure no matter what the cost is.

Sorry, if I am not going to feed my own ego desires, it is unlikely I will serve other people's egos desires, if the ego in control takes offence to this, so be it. I should also say, even when people are purposely being offensive and you are offended by this, it's simply your ego in control that is offended, not you as a whole or even your ego that is not in control. Try to become aware that your ego is a very small part of who you are as a whole; this alone should bring some balance to a controlling ego gone troppo if you are truly aware of this.

This is funny; the pic is of a cat looking in the mirror only seeing themselves as something grandiose as a lion. We are all of what is, not what our egos only desire to be of.

What is the Higher Self?

Written by Mathew Naismith

Ask yourself, what is more egoistic, humbling yourself to the ego or desiring to be of a higher self? Being that all is of what the ego calls a higher self, including rocks and trees and so on, what would an egoless higher self be of? The act of only being of a higher self is egotistic when the higher self is egoless. Being that the higher self is egoless, it is understandable that this higher self would humble itself to the ego, being that the ego is perceived by the ego, not the so-called higher self, as being of a lower self or a lower vibration. I say so-called higher self for only the ego separates like this, one being higher or lower than the other. In actuality, to the higher self there is no higher or lower self, just the self.

In truth, there is no self either, only being for a perception of self still refers to an attachment. In saying this, because what the ego calls the higher self represents all of what is without exception or desire, what is perceived and created through the ego is also of the higher self. What I am trying to say here is that the so-called lower self is as worthy as the higher self, what other state can the higher self humble itself to if not to the ego, the lower self?

This is how the ego often sees it these days. The ego represents an illusion and lower vibrations which represents the lower self and separation to what the ego doesn't desire to be a part of.

The higher self observes the ego as simply the ego without separation, even to what is real and what is an illusion. There is no perception of separation or of a lower self, just an observation of a self unaware of it's whole self.

Unconditional love; is also referred to as being of the higher self when in actuality unconditional love is of the ego. Unconditional love still refers to attachments, usually attachments to the feelings a state of unconditional love creates. In actuality feelings period are not of the higher self but of the ego. Why in a deep meditative state can we experience a state that we no longer have attachments? Feelings play no further part for feeling totally rely on motion to exist. Motions, which include feelings, simply represent ego. In saying this, can you perceive or feel negative vibration while in a true state of unconditional love, even when empathic to vibrations? No, for there are no conditions as such in this state, only the feelings of love the ego creates from this state.

A state of unconditional love can't be experienced without the ego, however, because unconditional love is a state of the absence of attachments and conditions, a state of unconditional love is also partly of the so-called higher self. If we don't hold too much attachments to the feelings that unconditional creates, a state of our higher being can be experienced from this state. As of anyone who has experienced a state of the higher being or self, unconditional love is simply part of the process of experiencing actual enlightenment. Enlightenment simply refers to a state of complete detachment from all feelings and associated desires. In saying this, often through the ego can unconditional love be expressed and experienced. This state is often experienced by the ego as being very beautiful and harmonious. To avoid abusing this energy, try not to become too attached to the feelings unconditional love creates via the ego. Any manipulation that serves the egos desires is abuse of energy that should be avoided if we want to experience peace and harmony.

The soul; is also often mistakenly referred to as the higher self. The soul is simply an immortal part of a person which experiences all our lives as one life lived. My own soul doesn't see that I have experienced separate lives; my soul observes all my lives lived as simply many life experiences experienced, not as separate lives lived. In saying this, souls can perceive each life as being separate to the other as well; this depends on the soul experience being experienced. Like with our human form, once the soul experiences actual enlightenment in a life experience, this enlightenment is always remembered by the immortal soul but not always remembered when recreated in a mortal being.

Are souls different to each other as humans are? Yes. Remember, the soul is simply an immortal part of our mortal being and yes, it matter to the soul how we live our mortal lives. So does this mean some people are of a higher vibration or level than other people? No. To the ego yes but not to the higher being as the higher being represents all of what is, not just what we desire to be a part of. The ego doesn't desire to be apart of the lower self so it calls this lower state an illusion, negative and even toxic, etc, or, the ego goes the other way, there is only ego, all else other than the ego is an illusion. The ego says take your pick for they are one of the same thing thus create the same exact type of reality, a reality controlled by the ego!!

God State: To the ego in control this is all mumbo-jumbo, in other words nonsense and understandably so. I once had entities purposely fixated to ignorance approach me in this life experience, I instantly dispelled them through simply showing a glimpse of what they are also apart of. The glimpse was of the higher self which a lot of religious ideologies call God or as state of God. I have lost count how many people have acted in the same way as these entities when their own creation seemed threatened. No matter what experiences our souls have experienced, we are still all apart of the so-called higher self. No matter who you are, the door to the higher self is always open to you, at no point are you not apart of this higher self no matter what the controlling ego says.

This God state or state of God is of everything, including lost souls lost within their own ignorance, their own creation. The ego then gets a perception that this state of God loves everyone unconditionally. This isn't wrong but from a God state of view unconditional love can only be experienced through the ego. The reason for this is that a state of unconditional love has the conditions of no conditions to be able to love in this way. This higher state of being has no conditions at all attached to it!!

Enlightenment: I have at no stage experienced actual enlightenment in this life experience, I simply have no desire to, but I have in other life experiences. You can't desire or have a need to experience enlightenment; enlightenment simply comes naturally when we release ourselves from our attachment and desires including our fixations to unconditional love. Actual enlightenment is simply a state the ego can experience when of the higher self or of a state of God. Enlightenment is simply of the process of the ego awakening to its higher self, enlightenment isn't even apart of the higher self, what is there to enlighten in this state which is of everything without question? This higher state is also known as a state of pure awareness.

So there we go. I should also say that some people have also replaced the perception of God with a Goddess in a way, in that unconditional love is the ultimate state of being. Unconditional love makes reference to the feminine so an idolisation to a Goddess occurs, especially when this state is seen as the ultimate state. Try to avoid the egos manipulation therefore abusing of energy like this, this is unless your soul wishes to experience more of the same.

Purity in Balance

Written by Mathew Naismith

In every step I take towards awakening the ego to its controlling ways, the further away the ego in control gets from me. We will often come across this in our interactions with other people; it feels like one step forward to awaking while the ego in control takes two steps backward away from awakening. I would not bother trying to awaken the ego to its controlling way if the ego not in control didn't want to awaken. You must understand an ego in control, that it can't relate or comprehend awakening and only sees awakening as a threat to its desires therefore survival. This is different for the ego not in control as it simply sees a need for balance, a balance of the controlling ways of the ego, this is all, nothing spectacular or self-serving or self-satisfying.

I received a reply, as below, to one of my replies on the subject of our controlling ways. My reply will hopefully enlighten the ego to its controlling ways and what these ways are creating.

Thanks for sharing. About the westerner's control desire, is it true? As I know, the divorce rate there is high. That means people don't want to be controlled by the marriage and family program. Some tramps choose this life style for freedom, don't they?

My Reply
Being controlled is different to being controlling. Marriage partners don't want to be controlled but be in control so they divorce. The reason the divorce rate is so high is because they want more control but can't have it in their present relationship. Divorce is one way to gain control, not loose control.

We are all controlled by one thing or another including nature
(性质, Xìngzhì), the western mind in all of us has problem with
this because it desires control, not to be controlled. The
balance between being controlled and being controlling brings
harmony in nature. It's the same with ourselves, the balance
between our western and eastern mind brings harmony to our
mind and our existence.

I am at present trying to influence the Western mind in
Western countries to express less disdain for this human
created reality. I wrote the following just recently.

"Indeed, to judge is to participate, all else is observation. All
participation is of the ego where observation is egoless.
All that can't forgive and can be hurt or offended is the ego in
participation. Participation simply creates ignorance where
observation creates awareness.

How can you express disdain for a consciousness lost within
its own creation, lost within its own participation while of the
absence of observation? We no longer truly observe as our
forefathers did, we simply participate to primarily serve
the ego.

I am not happy in the way we are abusing energy in every
sense, but how can I have disdain for a consciousness lost
within its own creation? It would be futile to do so, also, I
would be of what I have disdain for. Simply observe and
become aware."

It's not getting through because the western mind doesn't like
being controlled but to be primarily in control, of course the
only thing in control is the ego for only the ego desires to
control. The tramp is still being controlled but no longer has
desires to take control; a lot of spiritualists do this.

As I also wrote recently," Try to observe your own participation
rather than participating in what you observe. Man is no more
and no less violent and destructive than the natural
environment he lives in. However, as many have proven,
man can be as passive and constructive as the natural
environment, the choice is indeed ours. It is what it is at
present."

In some relationships an imbalance of being controlled is
present. All that the ego wants to do is bring balance back into
their lives; this will at times take the ego not in control to
separate from what is causing an imbalance in their lives.
This is different for an ego in control as the ego in control
wants more control so again separation occurs.

In a reality primarily controlled and influenced by the western
mind, the ego not in control observes that the ego in control
needs balancing out. As a lot of people are doing in
spirituality, separation has become the primary objective.
Seen as the ego not in control only wants to separate itself
from what is causing an imbalance, it's obvious the ego in
control desires total separation, like in a divorce of married
couples, to completely separate (divorce) itself from the
present reality (marriage). The ego not in control doesn't
want to separate itself like this, it simply wants to separate
itself from the imbalances of being controlling or controlled.

How do you obtain balance? One way is to think everything
just is what it is at the time it is. The following might help in
this if you are interested.

Extract: What I realized is that sometimes I put way too much emphasis on trying to figure out what is right and wrong.
What is the right path and what is the wrong path. What is good with the world and what is bad. What I like and what I don’t like. What someone thinks and what they don’t think.
With so much unpredictability in life and chaos at work these days in our uncertain world, what I have learned is that it really doesn’t matter. It really doesn’t matter if we label life as “good” or “bad.” It just is. It is the way it’s supposed to be.

Passion of the Eastern Mind

Written by Mathew Naismith

William Shakespeare's, "To be, or not to be: that is the question: Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, or to take arms against a sea of troubles, and by opposing end them? To die: to sleep;"

A Western minds dramatisation of life; to go on suffering or to cease the suffering by death or to cause death onto what is causing the suffering, in actuality it's the same thing. To abandon life and human existence for a better existence is the death of suffering; of course it is well known to the Eastern mind we cause our own suffering. To commit suicide or to cause the death to what is causing the suffering is the same thing. So to desire to create a better existence than an existence of suffering is suicidal; for one has to cause death onto one's own dramatisation of suffering, we would in fact kill a part of ourselves off. Is this the answer?

The answer to the Western mind is to separate itself from what it no longer desires to be a part of, to separate itself from the undesired for the desired. The desired is to suffer no more, even though to stop suffering one has to commit suicide, to cause death to what is causing the suffering which is ourselves. In a reality of variable polarities, we have a choice to either suffer with these variables, thus focus on suffering, or to let these variables pass without attaching ourselves to the suffering they may or may not create. To be, or not to be!!

So how does this help the people who are really suffering, the victims of war and civilian depravation? As I have done myself, you stop focusing on the suffering of variables for the only part of us that is able to suffer is the ego. The more the ego is in control, the more suffering we will suffer with thus creating a world that is destructive onto itself and chaotic within  it's environment. Yes, our environment, in actuality the universe itself, can be destructive and chaotic but as of ourselves it can also be constructive and passive.

I came across something recently I found interesting, the first part is my reply to what I found so interesting. A heavenly state of being is simply a state where the ego has no control; even in an existence of opposing variables this state is accessible to us.
___________________________

Very well articulated. It's not easy for the Western mind to comprehend what is written here sunday ivy.

The reason for this is the lack of control as the Western mind in all of us desires control. To control takes the abuse of energy, be it physical and/or mental. What will be will be is not acceptable to the Western mind in any of us.

Is it a wonderful life no matter what goes on? It is what it is as man is no more destructive or chaotic than the natural environment can be, however, we can also be as constructive and passive as the natural environment can be as well, the choice is ours.

The Western mind in all of us needs more of this, in my mind anyway.

Persistent Motivation Comes from the Longing and Pursuit of a Wonderful Life

Xuefeng
(Translated by Tongxin and Edited by Kaer)

What promotes everyone to live day by day?

It is the Tathaga (nature) which has been the designed program ever since LIFE was originally created during the beginning of creation. For each LIFE, whether they like it or not, must run around in circles to survive for several decades after being born, and this is not controllable by anyone. As people, we must run around solving the problems of eating, clothing, shelter, transportation, birth, aging, sickness, and death, although these are reluctant choices which lead to tragic lives.

These are reluctant and tragic lives within the realms of necessity. If people cannot escape from the bondages of the realms of necessity, then no matter how they may live, trouble, pain, worry, anxiety, and fear will follow them forever. Life will rise and fall, set in sorrow and joy, and bloom and fade like flowers, until one reincarnation of LIFE is finished and a new one begins anew.

Coming back to the original point, after several years, many decades, or even centuries, these are the reincarnations of the realm of necessity. If we do not escape from the bondage of the realm of necessity and enter into the realm of freedom, then whatever we do and however glorious a state we can reach, everything is as futile and transitory as passing clouds. Nothing is worthy of being pursued or owned.

Although the road leading forward is tortuous, it is only by targeting an eternal direction and goal and by walking firmly towards it, that we can ever hope to walk out of the realm of necessity, out of the rises and falls, and out of the reincarnations of life, that we might taste and enjoy the scenery and joys along the road.

Everything we pursue and own in the human world will eventually melt into emptiness or burst like bubbles. They are absolutely illusions and dreams. If everything in the human world eventually disappears, then what is worthy of being pursued? What is worthy of being owned? What is worthy of being strived for by consuming the energy of LIFE?

Either swim with the tide and do not care about truth or falsehood, sincerity or deception, beauty or ugliness, kindness or cruelty, good or evil, or what is yours or mine, because everything will disappear into silence when one eventually disappears from the world; or move forward, firmly toward the realm of freedom which exceeds this human world, and exceeds space and time.

Where is the realm of freedom? Where is the way leading to the realm of freedom?

The human world is not the realm of freedom because our bodies push us to run for survival. The realm of freedom is heaven, and the ultimate realm of freedom is the Celestial Islands Continent of the Elysium World.

The road leading to the realm of freedom is the longing and pursuit of a wonderful life, and this is the source of persistent motivation.

What are wonderful lives?

They are states of no death, no pain and sorrow, no worry and fear, no trouble and misfortune, and no fighting and deprivation, but there is always joy, happiness, sunny life like beautiful springs, eternally green mountains and clear rivers, and one has the freedom to do whatever they want to do forever. What is fortunate is that we have found the way that directs us forward to the realm of freedom in which a broad, beautiful world is already waiting for us. The question is how can we reach it? Can we keep going? Did we delay too much on the road, feel powerless like sighing before the sea, and get pulled back into the realm of necessity because of sluggishness?

So many people have fallen down because they lost, do you still have the motivation to move ahead?

As long as you strive for and pursue the good life continuously, you will have persistent motivation, and can overcome all difficulties and finally reach the destination. But if your pursuit and longing are reduced or stopped, then you will stay in the same place and miss your opportunity to enjoy a truly beautiful life.

Fallen Angels

Written by Mathew Naismith

I am going to make reference to Abrahamic religious beliefs to some extent, so if you have any fear or disdain for religion, I suggest you don't read on. I am an open minded person, so expressions of disdain, fear and bias are going to less likely be present in my views and opinions. I am simply going to relate fallen angels to egoistic existences.

First of all I am not going to refer to angels as winged human beings but of a consciousness, soul or spirit, that are existing in an egomaniac reality while remaining virtuous or egoless. It is of the philosophical opinion that man, human beings, are egoistic by nature. Are not humans primarily or entirely of humans first and foremost? Look at the fallen angels, the egotistic people, which are trying to presently control the whole of the world's natural resources, thus creating a reality for and of egomaniacs. Is a reality of and created by egotistic people, soul or spirits, a depiction of hell? What is going to occur when the ozone layer is completely diminished? The Earth will indeed burn giving a depiction of what is called hell. Don't despair as not all is lost.

We must first realise we are in a reality created by egoistic people to primarily serve the human ego, at no time in a reality like this expect other people to act humanely and peacefully. When this occurs, and it can occur quite often even in a reality entirely controlled by the ego, this is not of fallen angels. An angel is simply a person whose disposition is not controlled by the ego, a soul or spirit that has not given into the devil if you like. The devil being of an egomaniac disposition. Yes, we are all controlled by the egomaniacs, after all we are in their reality that they have created, but we still have a choice to be of the angels, a soul or spirit not of egoistic dispositions.

Yes, within an ego reality balance is the key, a balance of angels and fallen angles or of yin and yang, spiritualism and materialism, positive and negative and so on. I think to expect this kind of reality to be humanely peacefully perfect is unrealistic. Become aware of where you are at present and aware of whom you are. Are you what the present reality depicts? It is quite obvious that a lot of people, souls or spirits, are not of what the present reality depicts but at no time expect a depiction of hell to turn into heaven. Heaven being a place of peace, delight and bliss to an ego. It is peaceful, delightful and blissful to the ego when the ego starts letting go of the egos controlling ways.

My advice, especially at this stage of the game, is to stand firm to your virtues no matter what ideology or ism you follow.

In Abrahamic religionsfallen angels are angels who were expelled from Heaven. The term "fallen angel" appears neither in the Bible nor in other Abrahamic scriptures, but is used of angels who were cast out of heaven or angels who sinned. Such angels are often malevolent towards humanity.

Christianity shifted the origin of the fallen angels towards the beginning of history. Accordingly, fallen angels became identified with angels who were led by Satan in rebellion against God[6] and became equated with demons.[10]

Experiencing the Eternal Self

Written by Mathew Naismith

First of all, I humbly apologise to my readers who are unable to understand the English language as I am going to start this post off with a video that is in English. If you can understand the English language, please watch the video before reading on. If you can't understand the English language, I will explain, in my own words, what the video is about so you can translate the English language into you own language.

The video is about experiencing no self, a state of consciousness that is not about the self separate from all other selves but about a state of the eternal self or divine self. The strange thing is, the eternal self isn't about the self at all as there is no self or even self awareness. The eternal self refers to the eternal being where all is as one and acts as one, even while experiencing a reality where everything has its own identity, its own self.

Yes, you can experience individuality while in a state of eternal being, make no mistake, we are all doing this right now, it's just most of us are unaware of this. We are unaware because our present consciousness is conditioned primarily to the self, individuality. How many people refer to the inner self or self awareness? Materialism or anything else that the ego in control feeds on is often of the self, of an individual identity, how else would the ego in control survive? I wrote a few years ago on a spiritual forum in how we don't even own our own personal thoughts, as usual this wasn't well received or accepted.

So why am I making reference to the eternal self? How else is the ego going to be able to comprehend anything if we don't refer to the self? The ego in control needs to relate to something to comprehend it and then understand it.

Any ego that is conditioned to the self or individuality in any sense, is a good indication that the ego is conditioned to individuality, a state of separate entities. I am self aware or I am of the inner self is still making reference to an individual entity, only because the ego in control can only comprehend this eternal state of being as self. The ego in control needs to start somewhere so it will naturally relate eternal being to the eternal self. It's important to allow the ego to go through this process. At no time have any kind of disdain for the ego in control, avoiding this will allow the process of enlightenment to happen naturally. Simply go with the flow and remember, the ego desires control and will try to control this process, try to avoid this by simply becoming aware of the egos controlling ways. Sadly, I have lost count in how many Western spiritually aware people make reference to taking control and empowerment.

I have at no time in my life have become spiritually aware, I have simply let go of the attachments of control. Yes, I have allowed myself to be controlled for to take control of being controlled is still control. What I have done is simply detached myself from control, even while being controlled myself. It's important to remember, it's our self that is being controlled, not our eternal being. The only way control can be implemented or exist is through the self as an individual entity. Yes, myself has become spiritually aware but not my eternal being for there is nothing to become aware of, only the self can experience a sense of becoming aware or enlightenment.

I, at one time, had a Reiki teacher say to me after my treatment with them, "You have experienced the lotus flower in this life." The lotus flower refers to detachments brought into being by the ego. I had to say no, not in what you would refer to in this life but what you would refer to in another life. The soul perspective is, it's all one life with different life experiences to be experienced. The ego refers to different life experiences to be experienced as lives lived separate to all other lives lived, however, the soul sees it as one life which is more eternal and limitless where the ego sees it as ephemeral and limited. In so-called past lives, I have had numerous experiences pertaining to the lotus flower. My soul simply sees life experiences as one life with no separation.

I know this is hard to truly comprehend but life as whole is not about the human self, it's about the eternal being which is often referred to as our truer being, or as the ego sees it, our truer self or inner self. Yes, it makes a difference once you start referring to the eternal self as the eternal being but remember, the ego has to start somewhere. Be patient   with the ego and try to go through the process of awareness without trying to take control of this process.

Yes, these are trying times to the self, they always have been throughout human history, but not to the eternal being. Your soul may want to stay unaware of the eternal being, I didn't even want to become aware of the things I am aware of as the self but my soul said otherwise, this is the way it is. If the soul says it wants to experience being controlling, that is the way it will be, accept this and move on for all is of the eternal being.

One more thing, the eternal being isn't separate to the self; it's not a separate entity or state. The eternal being is everything in what it is and in how it is, this includes the perception of self and the self's ego and all the ego creates. Once you experience the eternal being, only then do you realise there is no ultimate state separate to all other states. All that is without exception is of the ultimate state, in actuality, consciousnesses, like experiencing human consciousness, can often be seen as an ultimate state for the eternal being. To be humble is to deny the ego control, especially while being controlled by the ego!! Not an easy phrase for the ego in control to understand, as I should know myself as I am what you are without question.

The following might be a good read for some people, not that I have read it myself.

Extract: Your Eternal Self ends by describing what our purpose seems to be in life, what true spirituality is, how people can grow spiritually to change themselves so they have love and bliss in their lives, how they can provide that loving legacy for their children's children, and what the research has shown about the world of the afterlife.
