The Big Picture - A Reflection of Perfection

Written by Mathew Naismith

I believe this post is going to be a heavy post to read, it's going to  look into the small and big picture. Small pictures represent realities while the big picture represents these numerous realities as one whole picture. I will also explain why no one can experience a true enlightenment while predominantly experiencing a particular reality.

Also, this posts heading seems to contradict my last post stating that no true state of perfection exists within spirituality, this too will take a bit of explaining, I will however firstly explain what I mean about the small and big picture.

Small picture = time + controlling ego + separate realities + no actual reflection of perfection, instead, a presumed judged perfection

Big picture = timelessness + ego + linked realities + a reflection of perfection through observing the whole of existence as one

Small Picture

Time: All realities have a sense of time, this however doesn't have to mean a reality is predominantly influenced by time like our own present experienced reality, it means a consciousness within such a reality, can be aware of time within another reality without actually predominately being influenced in a reality of time. In other words, a consciousness can exist within a timeless state and still be aware of realities of time. This is like some people, within this reality, are aware of a timelessness while in a reality predominantly influenced by time.

Controlling Ego: Stating that all realities are of a controlling ego is a big statement to make here, you must realise that not all realities of a controlling ego are like our present reality. You must also realise that not all controlling ego tendencies are destructive, to most spiritually aware people, this seems to be hard to perceive, this is because all we are aware of is the destructive attributes of a controlling ego within this present reality. There are realities of gold and glitter and pure light but for every conscious form to experience and enjoy, this is quite unlike our own reality. The other difference is that this gold and glitter and light didn't take the destruction of a planet and it's living form to produce, it's created from pure energy that had no form in the first place to destroy.

Separate Realities: As I have explained in a previous post, to get a better idea of separate realities, look at these separate realities like a peace of a jig saw that fits within other peaces of the jigsaw puzzle. Each separate part of the jigsaw puzzle represents a reality, they are separate until linked together within the puzzle.

Notice a said linked instead of joined, this is because joined refers to butting one point of reference against another, jigsaws don't work like this, each peace of the jigsaw is linked together, not butted!!

Yes, each and every reality is linked, take notice of where our own reality, our own peace of the jigsaw, is linked within. Our own reality is indeed linked within other realities, this is why we are able to perceive beyond the perceptions of the reality we are presently experiencing. Now imagine expanding out from this one jigsaw peace, in other words becoming aware of other realities, jigsaw peaces, beyond our own. As I often say, this is going beyond normal human perception.

Jigsaw puzzles are one of the things that explain the existence of everything quite simply for us to understand, as of anything we create, each creation tells us a little more of our whole self. Jigsaw puzzles however, to me, tell us of our whole existence, not just a part of our existence. Jigsaw puzzles quite plainly explain how each reality is linked.  Each peace of the puzzle makes up a big picture that we can become aware of that we are observing. Yes, every form of  consciousness is observing the big picture, we are mostly unaware of this because we are experiencing realities as separate entities, not as one entity!!

No Perfection: There is no perfection within a singular or multiple realities, only while being aware of observing the big picture can we observe perfection. As a good internet friend of mine stated in reference to my last post, existence itself as a whole is a reflection of perfection. I totally agreed with this even though it seemed to contradict my statement that no true state of perfection exists within spirituality.

One thing to consider here is paradoxes, general thinking and science ignore and disclaim anything to do with paradoxes, however, quantum physics actually incorporates paradoxes within it's evaluations. Quantum physics, to me, is like explaining about a jigsaw puzzles in a more complicated intricate way.

While a consciousness is only aware and accepting of singular or multiple realities, there is no perfection unless a controlling ego states otherwise, for example, my ideology or enlightenment/awakening is the be and end all. This changes when we realise we are also observing the big picture, each reality becomes worthy as they make up the big picture. Could you imagine not placing a peace of the jigsaw puzzle just because we didn't personally like it, in  doing this, you will never observe the big picture in it's whole state. OK, this reality is highly expressive of chaos and destruction but it still makes up the big picture!!

Big Picture

Timelessness and Ego: It is obvious, while observing time therefore realities, there is no true sense of time, only an observed sense of time. You are observing time when observing realities but you are not predominately influenced by time or these numerous realities.

To a number of people, time and these realities are an illusion, only a sense of timelessness exists totally void of ego. In this state you are not even an observer, there is no kind of awareness at all in this state. Look at it in this way, the observer of time and timeliness is the pinnacle, a state of being in time or timelessness is observed from this pinnacle. To me, being in a state of time OR timelessness is in ignorance of the whole state of existence for which we are, of course a controlling ego will state otherwise.

No matter what awakening and enlightenment you experience in any reality, such experiences will be influenced by the reality or realities we are influenced by, again, only a controlling ego would state otherwise!! Any consciousness that is unaware of being an observer, is unable to experience true enlightenment, also, any true enlightenment will imminently take you out of your present reality, either it be physical or otherwise. Unless we want to be physically and mentally taken our of a reality, the only enlightenment experienced is an awakening, an awareness, to being an observer. To me, this is more of a precious gift than becoming truly enlightened.....

Linked Realities and Reflection of Perfection: As I have explained, linked realities are like a jigsaw puzzle, each reality in interconnected with other peaces of the jigsaw to make up the big picture. There is no sense of separation in this state, there is  but, in a human way, a sense of perfection represented by oneness, this oneness to us becomes a reflection of perfection. See how each reality influences our perceptions!!

Some people try to explain the whole of our existence through quantum physics, I instead use the humble jigsaw puzzle to explain how everything is interconnected and as one, I just hope I explained myself well enough for you to comprehend.

The Finite - A Fraction of Who We Are

Written by Mathew Naismith

I made a bit of an error in not relating the finite to time in my last two posts, in actuality, the finite self is of time, in other words the finite is time itself, this of course makes the infinite self of timelessness, the eternal self.

Observing Time: In certain ideologies, it's said to be of the ego to desire that the infinite self exists, it's the ego that's wants to be eternal, this isn't actually the case. The finite and the infinite self exist without the ego deeming it so, this is because they are both a part of the  natural process of our whole being.  When you observe everything off time, you are observing through an infinite state of being without question, there is no question if our eternal state of being exists or not, only an ego would question if such a state exists or not!!

It's quite fascinating observing everything of  time, time, therefore the finite self, is observed as being quite a small part of our whole being, this is quite different to being a participator of time instead of an observer. The participator of time observes that time is expansive, it's quite huge in area and volume, however, when you become an observer of time, time is observed as something very small, everything of time is that small it seems nearly insignificant.

Fleeting Moments: Another thing about observing time, is that once you enter into a state of eternalness, you feel that everything experienced in time was but a fleeting moment, basically, it feels as if everything experienced in time took about a 5 minutes in our time to experience. In time, time feels like it's never ending, it goes on and on, however, once you enter into a timeless eternal state, such feelings of  a never ending cycle of time could be deemed as an illusion.

Can a consciousness delude itself in thinking time is all there is and that everything of time and the finite is massive and expansive?

Deluded?: We might think once we observe time, time itself would have to be deemed as being an illusion as time deludes us to think this is all we are  and that time is massive and expansive. In actuality, there is no question of time being an illusion when observing time, only observing time while also participating in time can we deem this to be so. Time can however  delude a consciousness in thinking this is all we are and that time is massive and expansive.

Time naturally influences a consciousness to become deluded, I wouldn't myself deem anything natural as being an illusion even though these natural states of being can cause a consciousness to become deluded. Yes, a deluded state is natural therefore is not, in a truer sense, a delusion or an illusion within itself!!

You can now understand how certain ideologies deem that the infinite, therefore the God self, doesn't exist, time is ego which influences us to become deluded, basically of Godlessness, a separation from our infinite self  which really never occurs. There is no true separation, only a sense of separation. Once a consciousness observes through the Godless finite self, everything of a natural state becomes an illusion and of the ego self.

Going Home: When you enter into an eternal infinite state, this feels like home and that you never left this state. This basically makes everything experienced  through time and finite states, like being in a dream state, you never departed from your normal state of an infinite state of being. To me, our own dreams in time are not delusions or illusions, they are an extension of ourselves, why do we then deem everything of time and the finite an illusion when they are only an extension of ourselves?

Yes, time and the finite self are but an extension of ourselves, and yes, a very small part of ourselves but none the less a part of ourselves, only the ego would deem otherwise. The perpetual self within time will deem that anything other than it's truer self is an illusion, it will deem that one part of itself is our whole truer self when all of what we experience makes up our whole truer self, this includes our dreams which are but an extension of ourselves.

Special Gifts: We might also think observing time takes a special kind of consciousness to do so, this couldn't be further from the truth for only the ego would deem so. Is walking on water, turning water into wine or healing people by touch a special gift? No, believe it or not these so called special gifts are as natural to us as dreaming and breathing, these abilities are quite common in our infinite eternal state. Just because they are not common in our present state within time and infinite states of consciousness, doesn't mean they are not a natural part of our whole truer being.

Yes, we have deluded ourselves within time of our true abilities, this delusion however is quite natural within time and is but a fleeting moment within our whole eternal existence. The finite is indeed but an extension of ourselves, it's but a fraction of  who we truly are!!

Time and Timeless Conscious States

Written by Mathew Naismith

There is an obvious difference in how consciousness works in time and timelessness, this is worth being aware of in my mind if we want to build upon a more constructive reality.

Time = human consciousness + focusing + intentions + goals + motion

Timelessness = God's (sources) consciousness + no focusing, intentions nor goals + motionless

There is a huge difference between states of time and timelessness, however, we can exist within these two states. It's like meditating while at the same time working in a job that takes a lot of thinking, this is certainly attainable. It actually takes balance between time and timelessness states to create a reality based more on passive motions.

Time is all about a consciousness in motion, in other words thought. It's natural within this state to focus our intentions to attain goals within states of time, it's however not natural within time to be totally unfocused within our intentions to obtaining goals. States of time are all about consciousness in motion where's timelessness is quite the opposite, the less a consciousness is in motion, the more this consciousness is of timeless states of consciousness.

At times, I will only exist within my own space, this means there is no focus nor intentions and certainly no goals in mind. It's usually quite beneficial to get into my own space for no reason what so ever, in other words I have no intentions of a goal before getting into this state and it's certainly not in retaliation to circumstances surrounding me either. This state isn't always attainable though, mainly because I'm still usually focused on certain circumstances surrounding me, at certain times I am unable to just let go of these circumstances. In this case, it's a good idea to be aware of what we are in judgment to at the time, timeless states after all are totally void of judgement of any kind, it's no wonder this state isn't always attainable to us.

The benefits of being able to go into timeless states is huge, especially in a states of time, this is due to time, at times, can be more of motion than other times within time. The more a consciousness is in motion, the more this consciousness needs to be able to go into a timeless conscious state otherwise it will become overly destructive. It's natural for a highly motional consciousness  to be more destructive.

Imagine this; what would instantly occur if we became more the observer (motionless)  than a participator (motional)?  Being the observer would allow us to understand each other better, but most importantly, our consciousness would become less expressive of motions. Wouldn't it be sad if we had less wars and conflicts in the world, this would occur if only we could observe more and act less!!

This is why wisdom is all about being an observer rather than a participator, only through observing can we become wise. This is why I state that God's consciousness is of pure wisdom, it's always in observation of time.

However, don't ever expect your own consciousness to be the observer of timelessness though, no consciousness can observe a consciousness in a timeless state, this is wholly due to there being no motion what so ever in a timeless state. The only conscious state that can be observed is a consciousness's of time, this is wholly due to consciousness within this state being of motion.

So how do we become aware a timeless state if we are unable to observe this state?

This is why we can't observe God's consciousness, it's within a timeless state of observation, however, we are often told about God's consciousness through various means. This however isn't the only way to become aware of this timeless state, you can, through various spiritual practices, enter into a timeless state. I honestly think this is the best way to become aware of this timeless state, as becoming aware of this timeless state, through various ideologies, can be misleading. I don't just mean  misleading because these ideologies are not totally correct, I mean these ideologies can, and most often do, give us more judgment of other ideologies which lead us away from this timeless state. Once we take on an ideology to be the be and end all, all we are doing is misleading ourselves if we think we are becoming more aware of this timeless motionless state.

In certain ideologies, God's consciousness is the only consciousness that is able to judge man, to me this isn't the case, this would mean this God's consciousness is highly expressive of ego through judgment. This would also mean God's consciousness can be highly destructive. This is an impossibility within a timeless state, God's consciousness after all is infinite, when does this consciousness then start and finish being in judgement if this consciousness is infinite and obviously not of time? Only in states of time can judgment exist, God's consciousness to me doesn't exist within time, a state of finite (transitory) state, but in an infinite state.

This however isn't saying that these ideologies are incorrect altogether, this god's consciousness is supposed to be in the image of man therefore in this case this consciousness is of time therefore is able to be in judgement of man.

I, myself, try to stay away from fixating myself to any set ideology and become a participator, I instead prefer to be an observer of such ideologies therefore, I feel,  more connected to this timeless state we call God's consciousness.

Seeing Within – The Enlightened Self

Written by Mathew Naismith

Seeing our truer or whole self isn’t easy for us to do, this is because we usually only see ourselves as a mortal being and that all other immortal beings being of a higher stature to ourselves. This is actually an odd assumption to make, this is all due to mortality denoting motion, the more motion (consciousness) we express, the more like a mortal we think and act, in other words mortality = motion. All this motion is, is an expression of consciousness itself , an expression of what we call God’s consciousness. The more expressive we are of this consciousness, or consciousness period, the more mortal we will feel, of course at this stage we are going to praise any other consciousness more aware than ours as being of a higher stature.

The enlightened self here is really referring to the self that is more aware or more connected to consciousness itself, thinking only in a mortal way, gives us the idea that being enlightened is a heightened state of consciousness when it’s really only a state of consciousness that isn’t being as expressive of consciousness itself, in other words an enlightened state is more aware only because it’s more motionless. You might think this is strange, wouldn’t a consciousness state be more aware while being expressive  of consciousness itself, therefore, the more motion you express, the more aware you become?  The thing is, the more motionless a conscious state is, the more of an observer it becomes and of course the more aware. Being enveloped and involved in expressing this consciousness, hinders our capabilities of being an observer, we have basically become fixated to expressing this consciousness through motion, forgetting how to be an observer in the meantime.

Everyone, without question, in realities like this one, are being expressive of consciousness itself in one way or another, they are expressing some form of motion, however, some people are able to be expressive of this motion and still stay an observer to some extent. Spiritual awareness teaches us this to one extent or another, a good example of this is meditation. You might think praying must also do the same but it doesn’t,  this is because while we are praying, we are  praying to a higher consciousness higher than ourselves in some way, within this action alone, we are demonstrating we are mortal. Yes, while meditating, you can meditate as a mortal but you can also meditate as an immortal, on the other hand, praying only denotes a state of mortality.

This however doesn’t make praying useless, praying teaches us to focus and gives thanks to all the motions we are able to experience, this might not sound important but it is. Praying allows us to be appreciative  of what we experience and allows one to focus on the good things in life when experiencing trauma, chanting works in a similar way. By praying to a higher consciousness, we also become more connected to this consciousness, but in doing so, we most often believe we are less worthy, this couldn’t be further from the truth because all you are doing is expressing this God’s consciousness, is it unworthy expressing this God’s consciousness?  Yes, we become too much about the motion of consciousness itself and neglect the motionlessness state of this consciousness, this doesn’t however make us unworthy, it just make us unaware. By being unaware, does this make these consciousness’s  unworthy? No, it just makes a consciousness unaware of itself and it’s connection to consciousness itself.

To use an example of how we have become, what is called fallen from grace, I will use Greek mythology. Fallen from grace first of all, to me, means being unaware through too much motion while not being aware of our motionless self. Motionless of course means being expressive of consciousness itself through observation, we on the other hand, while existing in a reality of motion, have neglected keeping in touch with our enlightened self (consciousness itself) in it’s motionless state.

So often through Greek mythology is it mentioned about God’s and Goddesses becoming expressive of being mortal, so much so that at times that they forget their place, their truer enlightened self. To me, the God’s and Goddesses refer to ourselves falling from grace, from a state of enlightenment to a state of ignorance, and in turn, usually causing chaos in doing so. Chaos is of course caused by a consciousness falling from grace, from a state of awareness to a state of being unaware.

Like anything written for mortals by mortals, there is a higher entity, a higher consciousness, in Greek mythology it’s Zeus, in Christianity it’s a God of man and so on. This mentality of there being a higher stature of consciousness, allows us to stay connected to our motionless self while experiencing and being expressive of motion in a reality of motion, this sadly enough in my mind takes us away from being an observer. A lot of religions do this through their doctrines while forgetting their own true place within consciousness itself, in other words their too focused on the doctrines and not enough on their own connection to consciousness itself.

A lot of people who are into, what is called new age spirituality, focus more on the connection rather than doctrines, well to some extent. I know a number of people who religiously meditate, their doctrine s in this case become meditation practices, this practice however allows them to focus on the connection rather than just the doctrines that were written by mortals themselves for mortal mentalities. Religious doctrines can work in the same manner but only if used in conjunction with this connection, however, I feel his connection can only be obtained if we see ourselves as being immortal as well. This is like someone meditating, if they meditate as a mortal, they won’t become as connected than if they meditate as an immortal, it’s really all got to do with how we perceive ourselves, as mortals or immortals or both.

It’s important to see yourself as a God or Goddess fallen from grace to become better connected to consciousness itself I feel, however within this mentality, we will most often  perceive through a mortal mentality and see this God and Goddess status as being of a higher status, this is quite normal. We perceive this because we are only seeing ourselves as being mortal, try truly seeing yourself as immortal. Once you truly obtain this perception, you become aware that there is no higher or lower stature, just different expressions of motions of consciousness.

Immortal = motionless self + egoless self + awareness +God’s consciousness + timelessness
Mortal = motion + ego self + unaware + expressive of God’s consciousness + time

I should also say here, just because you are immortal, doesn’t mean you won’t express motion, we are a good example of this, we are truly immortal within our truer selves, but in realities of motion, we are expressive of consciousness itself through motion. Being truly immortal is being aware that you are truly immortal before expressing yourself as a mortal, in other words you are an enlightened consciousness before you became unenlightened, unaware of your immortal self.

Now I denoted being immortal to timelessness, this is due to timelessness being of motionless, there is not starting or ending point so there is no movement, no motion therefore no creation. In this case, how could being immortal come before expressing yourself in motion when there is no starting or ending point of origin?

I also mentioned there is no creation in timelessness, how could there be when there is no starting point of creation? You can’t create anything unless you have a starting point and to have a stating point you need time, this means everything was created through time, through motion and a mortal mentality, not this motionless God’s consciousness. We mustn’t forget here that everything is expressed from God’s consciousness, this means everything either it be of motion or motionless is of this God’s consciousness.

In this motionless timeless state, everything has always existed but only as pure consciousness including our mortal selves. Time allows this motionless consciousness to be expressed, once this consciousness is expressed, we have creation, this means before this consciousness is expressed we are immortal before expressing ourselves as mortals. You can only express yourself in time and it’s this time that gives us motion. Pure consciousness on the other hand is of timelessness therefore motionless until it’s expressed in time. Time has also always existed but not the expressing of consciousness itself in time, this is new only because it has a starting point within time itself. The thing with time is it’s mortal, it’s governed by cycles of motion that have a starting and ending point, this is why we think we are only mortal expressions of consciousness, you can easily see why we perceive there has to always be a higher status when there isn’t.

To Manifest or not to Manifest??

Written by Mathew Naismith

That is indeed the question……..

Well not for everyone, when we see something good, that also makes us feel good, we run with it without question, this is normal human behaviour and this is quite plainly shown through our reaction to consumerist materialism for example.  A lot of people have just run with this way of life without questioning it, of course if they questioned it they would find it’s very destructive to our wellbeing. So is there any connection between spiritual manifesting and materialistic manifesting?

The following was in reply to the very question of spiritually manifesting.

The problem with manifesting is cause and effect, push and pull effect, action reaction.

By pulling something in to push something out causes an effect and a reaction, how do we get around this?

The universe itself is based on action reaction and so are humans, to manifest anything is in reaction is it not?  If the sun dies, what reaction does this cause, if a sun is created, what kind of reaction does this create?

The point is our truer nature isn’t governed by a universes law of action reaction; it goes way beyond this, trying to manifest anything in reaction is just going along with the laws and influences of the universe not our truer selves, in this we are totally governed by time when our truer nature isn’t of time.

So how do we get around this? Try not to manifest anything in reaction to something else, just be aware of a more constructive existence; it’s all to do with pure simple awareness.

A problem for starters represents a reaction, we have caused this problem to occur through a reaction otherwise we wouldn’t have a problem.  I don’t have a problem with spiritually or materially manifesting, that is just a personal choice we make that builds upon a reality and this is the point.

We want to build upon a more constructive reality but we are using the same old tools of manifesting  but in a slightly different way, instead of materially manifesting we are now spiritually manifesting, we think this has got to be a lot better!!

Right throughout human history we have pulled something in to push something out, this has always caused a reaction. You could relate spiritual manifesting to the creation of a sun, which creates life, and materialistic manifesting to the dying of a sun, destroying life. This isn’t far from the truth; however, we are still causing a reaction which causes further reactions. Spiritually manifesting supports and creates life but in doing so there is always a reaction to this, this universe is a good example of this, now look at what it created through this reaction, it created life but it also created destruction, action reaction.

Manifesting anything isn’t long lasting, it’s not eternal.  Yes spiritually manifesting will improve on our lives but will this manifestation last? No manifestation lasts because it’s all based on time, you cannot get away from manifesting anything which is of time therefore ephemeral (fleeting). Yes we could just once again look after our own selves and manifest a better existence for the rest of our lives; this to me seems a little self-centred though.

So how do we create an existence that is going to last if we are not going to manifest it, as any manifestation is based on time?

Stop thinking we are of time, out truer nature isn’t governed by time therefore manifestations, but we are hell bent on manifesting everything; no wander everything we have manifested has never lasted. Spiritually manifesting is no different to any other manifestation; it’s all governed by time.

Instead of allowing the universe to govern us, I think it’s about time we became aware of being able to govern the universe, this can only be obtained through pure simple awareness of ourselves beyond time and manifestations.

Knowing Presence-Pure Awareness

Written by Mathew Naismith

I find this bloke called Tony quite interesting, we do tend to play the same tune but using different notes but at the same time we somehow keep in tune with each other, like good musicians do I suppose, in other words we give a slightly different perspective to a particular topic.  I always find other people’s perspective interesting so I inserted a portion of his reply to me in this post.

 Tony
Pure Awareness (Knowing Presence) is the basis of Consciousness (Knowing Presence with objects). Consciousness exists because of this presence, which has the potential to know. When there is knowing of an object it becomes consciousness. Consciousness is of objects. This knowing presence has no qualities of its own (from our limited perspective); there is no volition there. There is some organizing force there but not organizing as in the human definition of intelligence. We are this organizing force and that which results from it.

It contains no objects. It simply has potential. In the same way as a stationary object has potential energy. It requires an outside force to organize it in the appropriate conditions so that this potential can be utilized. In this case, the outside force would be the apparent external world reflected through the body's sensory apparatus. Think of a mirror. Consciousness is like a mirror. The sole purpose of mirrors is as a reflector of light. Light hits an object; the light from that object is reflected onto the mirror and the mirror because of its reflective nature displays a very close representation of the object. Awareness is the glass; our sensory apparatus is the reflective surface; the external world is the light; and the resulting reflection is consciousness.

My Reply
The way I see it is everything is one thing, one consciousness or one presence.

When this one presence or consciousness is expressed, this is when we perceive it as a different consciousness or a separate item.

The funny thing is this presence is consciousness and of emotion, motion and everything else that is being expressed even though this presence is motionless.

The reason for this is to do with timelessness; this presence is of this timelessness therefore everything that is expressed from this timelessness has always existed.

The reason for this is nothing has a starting or ending point, it has always existed, this includes everything expressed in time.

There is no true separation between this presence and consciousness or even human emotions.

However, I feel when we are the ones expressing this presence, we need to believe it's all separate to be able to express such presence or what I deemed as pure awareness.

The reason I called this presence pure awareness or consciousness, is to do with when you are in this state of timelessness, you do indeed become aware but in a motionless state.

Nothing is truly separate; however, this is where a lot of people get the idea that realities like this one and time are illusions when it's not. If everything is one with this presence, then all else is an illusion but that's not true, that's just a human perception.

The reason for this is everything has always existed, we are neither just of time (expressive) or timelessness (presence), we are all of what is in the present.

I suppose the question is did we and everything else come from this presence, this pure awareness?

At times I have said so myself for very good reasons, everything was created from this presence (pure awareness), this one thing, this is brought about by perceiving through human perceptions while using spiritual concepts of oneness.

However when you consider that this presence (pure awareness) is of timelessness, you become aware that everything has always existed including time itself and all it represents. This means everything was created from everything, from the whole of consciousness not just from this presence (pure awareness).

What’s above is also below, how do we human come into being? Through the interaction of at least two energy sources, our parents, this is the same with everything else, it takes two energy sources to create, in this case instead of parents we have states of time and timelessness or presence (pure awareness) and ignorance.  Don’t judge ignorance badly, if it wasn’t for ignorance, I perceive as one of the parents, I don’t think we could express this pure awareness.

So where does this leave us with oneness?  Are not both our parents human, one kind of energy source, this is the same with time and timelessness or awareness and ignorance; they are the same kind of energy sources creating whatever.  However, awareness and ignorance in a human perspective are quite the opposite, there not one of the same source or are they? Take our parents, are they not yin a yang but of the same human energy source.  I really do think we look at ignorance in a too shallow judgmental way.

What’s above is also below; it takes two seemingly different energy sources to create, if ignorance allows for this pure awareness to be expressive of itself in time, I can’t truly see anything wrong with ignorance. When we become too destructive, all we have to do is become aware and utilise both ignorance and this pure awareness in unison to find balance again. Actually I’m not sure if that is not what we are doing right now!!

The best way for me to look at this is by looking at everything as just energy, either this energy is stationary in timelessness or actively interacting in time with itself, it’s still just energy which gives us this oneness. I think it’s also good to be aware that while expressing intentions in time, we will have to separate this energy into categories for our grey matter (brains) to decipher, so for example calling anything in time ignorant and anything of timeless aware helps this grey matter to understand ourselves and the environment a lot better.

Timelessness, of Love and Tranquillity

Written by Mathew Naismith

I thought the following reply I received in regards to my last post was interesting. Jeff has always been an interesting bloke to listen too, he certainly know he’s history especially his ancient history. History isn’t actually about the past because every time we think about history it’s always in the present moment, history is never about a by gone time as Jeff will elaborate on.

I will go into how and why timelessness creates tranquillity and love for us a little further on in the post however, I think it’s wise to become aware of what time represents first for a better understanding of what timelessness actually represents.

Reply
The following message talks about time in relation to reincarnation.

I think Edgar Cayce said he repeated a life experience in the American Old West time period as a guy by the name of John John Bainbridge.

Someone might want to repeat a life experience to change something they deeply regret for example.

Yes and the idea of reincarnation can make those consequences possible. That's called the Law Of Karma.

Not that karma has to happen in a future life. It can happen 5 minutes from now or also in a past life.

God exists outside of time in the spiritual realm. When we are born we become subject to the laws of time on this planet Earth. But when the physical body dies we return to that timeless dimension.

There are strange theories about how people can be reincarnated into any time period past or future or even live the same life experience over again.

In other words someone could die today and then be reincarnated in ancient Egypt.

Those types of theories raise many strange and paradoxical questions about the nature of time and this physical world. It implies that time is something other than a strictly sequential, linear process.

The weird thing about it is that everyone, everything, and I guess really the entire universe would have to exist in an infinite number of possible futures which may or may not actually happen in this physical world.

If someone wanted to repeat the same life over again everybody else would also still have to be there.

This is all very strange and far beyond human comprehension.

Anyone interested in reincarnation should start watching the TV show Ghost Inside My Child.

This show airs on the LMN channel and right now new episodes are airing on Saturday nights.

My Reply
I utterly concur with this, especially these days, I didn’t know, until recently; time is actually about the interactions of energy not a measurement of time. Take our physical lives for instance, our mind and body are always reacting with itself and other energy sources around it, cancer is a good example of this interaction and so is love as is of what we deem as our demise. Sure we measure this life form but only because of what these life forms (different energy sources) go through when interacting.

Would we have time if we had no interactions of these energy sources? I don’t think so, time is these interactions of different energy sources, without these interactions, I don’t think we would have time. This means timelessness is of non-interactions, this is why it feels so peaceful, tranquil and of love. I believe all energies of timelessness become one through becoming one vibration instead of many. It is very difficult to feel love for a vibration that isn’t in tune with our vibration, timelessness gives us this through the non-interactions of energy sources because all energy sources becomes one energy source through being in tune with other energy sources.  This is becoming one with God or the source I believe.

History isn’t about a past event but an indication of the interactions between energy sources, once we have an interaction we have time and once we have time we have history. Timelessness on the other hand isn’t about an interaction between energy sources, this also means within timelessness there is no history mainly because all energy sources become one. Once there are no interactions, there is no time or history as all vibrational energy sources become in tune with each other as one vibration, this gives us utter tranquillity and love.

Love is produced by being in tune with other vibrational energy sources around us, this is why it’s quite difficult to be totally unconditionally loving in time, we live with numerous and various energy sources that are not in tune with our own vibrations, we can’t expect ourselves to be totally uncordially loving under these circumstances unless we can become one with other vibrational energy sources.

This is the strange thing, as Jeff has pointed out we can relive a life event in ancient Egypt, how can this be so if we are living in time, time is after all about past history, a bygone era?

If we were to only look at time as being a measurement, what Jeff has stated can’t possibly occur, this is due to thinking once a moment of time has passed it’s a part of history that can’t be relieved. Now if we only look at time as being the interactions of energy sources, can we now see Jeff’s statement as being plausible especially when we take in the consideration of timelessness?

Timelessness has no history as a past time event because it’s not of time, history in timelessness becomes just another interaction of energy sources no matter when this event occurred in time. Everything within timelessness becomes the present moment no matter what the interactions of these energy sources create.

We can quite easily see how these timeless states of consciousness create love and tranquillity, there is no conflict or chaos as there is no time to create conflicts between energy sources. If we can learn in time to look at time as an interaction of energy sources instead of a measurement, our existence in time would become a lot more tranquil. The measurement of anything always gives us conflicts mainly because these measurements can oppose each other, in a timeless state of consciousness we don’t have these conflicts because nothing is measured. This is due to everything being within the present moment no matter how far back in the past these interactions seem. Time gives us the delusion that time is of measurements when it’s only of the interactions of energy sources.

Time, Infinite Possibilities?

Written by Mathew Naismith

This seems to be coming up a fair bit for me at present, because time is of infinite possibilities is time an illusion? This isn’t an easy question to answer mainly because it’s all to do in how we perceive time. As the reply I received below shows, we need to define time and timelessness however this isn't easy defining what time and timelessness define. Hopefully the following might help with this a little.

Reply by Piper Night
Perhaps the question is how we define time & timelessness. If you consider that all time is folded into the one moment of now then illusion and reality are juxtaposed to create the imagined reality of the group consciousness. All things are infinitely possible here.

The following wasn’t my reply to Piper Night but a statement I made on a spiritually based science site on this same topic.

Most of us depict time as a starting and ending point, this is because what energies form is usually transitory. Another way to depict time is through distance, this again is created through the interactions of various energies forming form to give us one point of origin to another, the expanding universe is a good example off this.

The universe itself is transitory within it’s form but like everything else this is due to various energies creating form, so is time defined by form or by these various energies that give form it’s form?

To me this depends on how we define time, form seams to create time so therefore time is governed by form however this form was created from an infinite energy source that can’t be destroyed just reformed, would not time then be governed by infinite possibilities instead of just form? This of course would make time and everything created from time infinite not transitory in a real sense. The illusion is to think time is transitory, yes the forms that time create change but that is all they are doing, there not being destroyed at all.

It’s funny to think that high profile spiritual gurus think time is an illusion when the illusion is thinking time is transitory!!  No I don’t have any proof of this but to me it’s something to consider, we are not just this form but primarily the energy of this form, thinking we are just this form gives us the illusion that time is an illusion.

Spiritual gurus know we are not just this form however they still believe time is an illusion, this doesn’t make sense!! In my mind we really do need to perceive time as being infinite not transitory, it’s the way we perceive time that is an illusion not time itself.  Time is really defined by these energies reforming time and time again, it’s infinite.

It is obvious that energy reforms over and over again, our past lives are a good example of this, we are this energy that reforms over and over again which makes us infinite. Now time is defined by these energies reforming and interacting between each other, are these reforming of infinite energies transitory therefore making these energies also an illusion?

These infinite energies are certainly not illusions because they create form plus they are infinite not transitory. This to me would make the form they form not a true illusion because all what this form is, is infinite energy.  The delusion, as opposed to illusion, is to think we are not this infinite energy to start with because we are still defining time as a starting and ending point when this infinite energy reforms. When this infinite energy reforms this gives us time, this reforming of this infinite energy doesn’t make time an illusion unless we think we are not this infinite energy but just of the form of time.

It’s funny to think time and timelessness are both infinite, timelessness is depicted as the stillness of this infinite energy and time the movement or interactions of this infinite energy, either way they are still of an infinite energy source most of us call God or the source.

Permanency and Illusions

Written by Mathew Naismith

I had some insightful replies to my last post I feel I needed to share with you today, it’s just a little sad that most of the times I don’t receive a reply back to my replies.

By perceiving through the perception of time, illusions exist because we perceive time itself to be an illusion and why not, we are certainly ignorant to all we are in time because all we are isn’t this ignorance we live our lives by. The point I would like to make in this post is we can only perceive the existence of illusion in time not timeliness, a state we deem as our natural state, illusions just can’t exit in our natural state of timeliness as I will try to explain further.

Reply
Illusion doesn’t mean it isn't real. What it means is that it isn't permanent.

My Reply
It really depends on the perspective.

If we look at it the way you perceive it, yes everything that isn't permanent, eternal and infinite, is an illusion, however if we look at illusions being real or not, there are no true illusions just illusions of illusions.

There is a problem with permanency, because time is perceived as an illusion as well because it's not permanent, that would mean timelessness is only real and permanent not time. If everything that is real is only of this timelessness, everything real is also permanent; this also includes this reality because everything has always existed within this timeless state which includes this reality and time itself.

For this reality not to be an illusion it can’t be of time but it is, so realties of time are an illusion even though they are real, this is questionable. This would mean parts of consciousness are an illusion which gives us once again duality which isn’t supposed to be real because it’s not permanent.

What we are doing by perceiving that everything that isn’t permanent is an illusion is separating consciousness into it’s dual forms giving us duality again. To me there is no such thing as true duality even though it seems that way in our ignorant states of consciousness of time.

The real illusion is thinking that time separates everything into duality; this is brought about by our ignorance. The only thing that can produce illusions is ignorance; you cannot produce or see illusions if one is truly aware and one can only be truly aware when they see everything of consciousness exists in some way, not if one is only of pure awareness or pure ignorance but being aware that everything of consciousness exists.

It’s funny to think time is giving us the perception of illusions but time is also supposed to be an illusion, on the other hand timelessness can’t be an illusion because everything has always existed in this timeless state, it’s always been permanent and in this state we can’t perceive illusions because everything is permanent. We really do need to stop thinking in time and start thinking in timelessness as well I believe. What I am saying is ignorance has always exited so is also permanent, so any state of ignorance can’t possibly be an illusion.

So in all yes your quite correct, anything that isn’t permanent is an illusion but nothing of consciousness is actually temporary, not really!!

The following is another reply I received from another person concerning the same post.

Reply
We are real and the world is real, but the bodily identification of self is an illusion.

There are no higher and lower selves, only a real self that is extremely subtle and therefore subject to mistaken identification.

My Reply
Indeed, it's how we identify with anything of time that defines an illusion. We look at the body as being created then it dies, it no longer exists so it’s not permanent therefor it's an illusion.

What we don't do is look at the human body as transforming from one energy source to another, no matter what the energy used to create the body and mind, this energy only changes, it never truly dies.

The way we look at times gives us an illusion that the body just dies, that's it but that isn't really the case at all, the energy of the body continues to go on in different forms. Looking at our whole existence through the perception of time is what gives us illusions, this doesn’t occur when we do the same while looking at our whole existence through the perception of timeliness, illusions just don’t exist within this state.

I agree, there is no true higher self, only to an ignorant consciousness can there be a higher self however to identify with this real self, we need to at times refer to this as a higher self. In a sense it is a higher self because it’s more aware than our ignorant self.

We just perceive in time and when we do this, we only see or perceive energy forms and sources that have a starting and ending point when such energy is infinite within it’s existence. We still only perceive in time which give us illusions.

So in all illusions do indeed exist and yes if we think this human state is all we are that is indeed an illusion but only while we are perceiving in time.  When we perceive through timelessness illusions just don’t exist, they can’t, this is due to being aware that everything of consciousness does indeed exist in some way.

Let’s look at it this way, an illusion is a source of energy otherwise we wouldn’t be aware of these illusions, energy itself is infinite which makes these illusions permanent therefore they are not true illusions. When we think only in time, these illusion become real illusions, they are not illusion of illusions because nothing in time is perceived as being of permanence. Timelessness however tells us that everything that exists is an energy source so nothing is truly an illusion, just because an energy source changes form doesn’t make this energy form an illusion.

Indeed we are not all we perceive in time, while we are only perceiving in time, this makes time an illusion, what I am saying in timelessness this isn’t the case because everything exists from an eternal/permanent energy source therefore nothing can be a true illusion in this timeless state.

Time, a Very Precious Gift

Written by Mathew Naismith

Timeless Consciousness: There are many people within this conscious reality who don’t or can’t see how precious of a gift time is, it allows us to experience all of what consciousness is to start with but we have trouble seeing time as a gift. I think the reason for this has to do with the kind of consciousness we are existing under, it’s very divided and quite destructive but not all of the consciousness’s of time are this unbalanced, actually very few are especially to this extent.

What actually gives us a balanced consciousness, a balanced mentality to exit by? Our connectedness to a consciousness that is still, a consciousness that is motionless and a consciousness that has no divides or separation, a consciousness that is one with itself because there is no other self.  This consciousness is of course of timelessness for it’s this timeliness that gives this consciousness it’s stillness, this non-separateness of self and the more aware of this still  non-separated consciousness we become within time, the more balance this gives us within the consciousness’s  of time and the less destructive we become.

Religion: Yes religion has tried to reconnect us to this timeless consciousness and to a certain extent this works however if it wasn’t for the ego becoming so controlling, religion would have worked even better.  This controlling ego is quite apparent especially at present, the Middle East is a prime example and so is the child molesting’s within certain Christian religions. Once the people of a religion become disconnected from this timeless consciousness these people become destructive.

We are at present existing in a very destructive consciousness brought about by our disconnectedness to this timeless consciousness, any other more constructive consciousness is going to seem like heaven to us. More and more people are becoming aware and reconnecting to this timeless consciousness because it’s very appealing to us as it’s meant to be appealing to us.  The more of us that become reconnected the less destructive we will be within time, we don’t however have to disconnect ourselves from time altogether to bring forth a better more constructive consciousness to exist by, all we need to do is become aware of this timeless consciousness and by doing so we quite automatically become more connected .  Religion in my mind needs to un-focus on itself and focus more on this timeless consciousness.

Automatically Reconnecting: Would a more constructive consciousness within time need to focus so much on this timeless consciousness to bring balance within their consciousness, their mentality?  No, for the main reason they are already automatically connected to this timeless consciousness, they can then focus more on the consciousness’s of time expressing even more of what consciousness is.  They can live in an utterly heavenly like existence because all of their energy is put into the consciousness’s of time instead of timelessness.  However in my mind we do need to focus more on this timeless consciousness to bring balance within our existence in time, once we have done this, we will quite automatically bring balance back again within our consciousness, our mentality . I do indeed believe we can achieve a heavenly like existence for all if we become less ignorant and more aware of this consciousness of timelessness, surely it can’t be this easy?

Intentions: Because everything is consciousness there is no push and pull involved here or there shouldn’t be, there is no action reaction which just causes more reactions. This is why by just becoming aware without an intention works, you become aware without pushing anything away to become aware and because everything is consciousness, just becoming aware without pulling in this awareness works. I know it’s difficult to see that everything is consciousness especially at first but once you realise this you can begin to become aware without intentions.

It is also difficult to become aware of this consciousness, especially of the consciousness of timelessness, without an intention, “I need become aware because of my/our predicament”.  This is an intention which causes an effect, a reaction which will cause even further reaction thus adding to our predicament not taking away from it. This is why some prayers, meditations, chanting and so on work when others don’t, the more intention we have while practicing in these spiritual practices the more we are actually adding to our predicaments.

This is why a good meditation is about thoughtlessness, there is no intention because we are not in thought.  The trick with meditation is to not have an intention to enter into a thoughtless mode to start with, allow your mind to just flow and go with the flow of thought and after a while you will quite automatically be within this thoughtless mode.

In all it’s all about how we are becoming reconnected to this still non-separated consciousness of timelessness, if we do it with intentions, we will not in my mind succeed at totally reconnecting but if we do it without an intention, I think all will be fine within this precious gift of consciousness of time.  There is nothing better and magical than bringing balance to a consciousness including our own, it’s quite exhilarating.

The difficulties of Existing in Time

Written by Mathew Naismith

Time is a fragmented consciousness as opposed to timelessness which is of the whole consciousness, a consciousness not fragmented but whole; at times this timeless consciousness is referred to as God’s consciousness. God’s consciousness to me is however of the whole of what consciousness is including the fragmented consciousness of time, how can a consciousness be whole when we disclaim a part of consciousness as being not of the whole consciousness?  This would have to make God’s consciousness not completely whole if we disregard any consciousness of time.

I think the purpose of time is to allow this whole consciousness to experience and express all parts of itself including the ego, to do this it needs to fragment this whole consciousness into parts so that each part can interact with each other creating various experiences and expressions.  This is able to happen through time. The whole consciousness, God’s consciousness, is then able to be expressive of all it is in every way possible, this however gives this fragmented consciousness within time a dilemma, it can become that separated and ignorant of it’s true nature that all it expresses is destruction.  If a consciousness can only express destruction, this whole consciousness isn’t being experienced because constructiveness is also a part of this whole consciousness. You could say expressing consciousness only in a destructive way is also of expressing and experiencing of this whole consciousness!!

In a way this is true, the Earth is always reforming and to do this it needs to destroy something first to reform it, the point is what is the Earth doing when the Earth reforms itself?  It’s being constructive while it’s reforming but a totally ignorant consciousness within time only destroys for the main reason there is no balance between a constructive consciousness’ and a destructive consciousness. Is this whole consciousness only destructive? This is the point it’s not and neither are we supposed to be especially within our entirety.

When a consciousness becomes just destructive somewhere within this whole consciousness, there is also a consciousness to balance out such a destructive consciousness. You could say that the human species isn’t altogether destructive; it’s always reforming when it destroys something, sky scrapers and roads are a good example of this reforming. The problem with this kind of reforming is it’s destroying the Earth which will make Earth quite uninhabitable one day, in other words it’s plainly destructive.  This is due to man’s consciousness becoming ignorant to it’s whole conscious self within timelessness and the more ignorant it becomes the more destructive it will become.  So what is balancing this out? People becoming aware, less ignorant of their whole consciousness thus balancing out these destructive consciousness’s.   In time there is always a reaction to an action so if one consciousness is going to be destructive there is also a reaction to this with other consciousness’s becoming more constructive through awareness.  While certain other fragmented consciousness’s become destructive through their ignorance, other consciousness’s become constructive through their awareness, it’s an automatic reaction in time which you only get to experience and express within time.

This however doesn’t mean we are going to be able to save the Earth and ourselves from such destructive ways, all this means is we have a chance to save ourselves. This depends on how many consciousness’s (people) are going to become more aware instead of more ignorant to give us this balance.

I should point out I love being expressive of all of what this whole consciousness is, to me time is the big deal not timelessness, it is also much harder to be of time than it is to be of timelessness.  In time we can be expressive of all of what this whole consciousness is in any way. That to me is a big deal.

While only aware and living in a consciousness of time, it’s hard to be of this timeless consciousness so that is why this timeless consciousness to us is the big deal not time however, while aware and living within timelessness, time is the big deal mainly because you can be expressive of all of what consciousness is.  In timelessness you can be all of what consciousness is but you can’t be expressive of all of what consciousness is for the main reason there is no fragmentation of consciousness and no ego.  The ego is a part of this whole consciousness otherwise it couldn’t exist; the ego allows us to be expressive of all of what consciousness is. There are a number of people who desire to be just of this higher self; a part of the whole consciousness again, is this not also of the desire of the ego?

The ego has a very constructive part to play in time unless it becomes too controlling, then it becomes ignorant and destructive. To me we shouldn’t be too ignorant of the importance of time and only desire to be of the whole consciousness again; in this where not serving this whole consciousness but ourselves as separate consciousness’s.

Realities of Time, an Illusion or Not?

Written by Mathew Naismith

I didn’t really want to touch on this subject again however, recent discussions with others on this subject has impelled me to write about this subject once again. First of all it matters not to me if it’s real or not, all I am doing is living in the present moment, if at times this reality feels real so be it and if not so be it.

If we just consider the present moment, this reality has to be an illusion because there is only the present moment; there is no time in the present moment because it’s only about the present with no past or future.   The other thing to consider however  is, no matter what we are experiencing or expressing it’s still of this timeless consciousness, it might be only parts of this consciousness that we are expressing at any moment in time but it’s still a part of this consciousness, this means this reality can’t be a true illusion. To be a true illusion this illusion would have to be no part of us, it would have to be something we have no connectedness too, this is not the case within time because everything of time is a part of us because it’s still a part of this timeless consciousness.

This timeless consciousness represents a whole consciousness, it is not fragmented or separated in any way to itself, it’s whole. Time on the other hand, our present reality, is of a fragmented consciousness, it’s certainly not whole, this means we cannot express consciousness in a whole way, we can only express this timeless whole consciousness in parts within time. The question is, does this make this reality or any reality of time an illusion?  It certainly does to a certain extent, it is never who we are as a whole, a whole consciousness however it’s still in parts of this timeless whole consciousness therefore realties of time can never be a true illusion. If I cut off my hand from my whole self is that hand no longer my hand, it’s an illusion because it’s no longer a part of me. If I reconnected the hand to my arm again, does this make the hand no longer an illusion because it’s again a physical part of me? The point is the hand is always a part of you; it’s never not a part of you so it can never be an illusion even after once severed from your whole body!!

So when you separate one part of a whole consciousness, does this make this part of a whole consciousness an illusion? Not to the whole conscious self like the hand to the whole human physical self isn’t an illusion once severed however, if the severed hand thought this is all I am that would be an illusion.

So what are we doing when we judged realities of time an illusion, are we judging as the hand or are we judging as the whole self, the whole conscious self? We are of course only judging as the severed hand and not the whole self, this is where I think we are misperceiving when we judged time is just an illusion, we are judging from the severed hand point of view not from the whole self.

If the hand is no longer aware of it’s whole self, it will think this is all I am when it’s not, this is the illusion. We are actually no different to the severed hand because of our disconnectedness to the whole consciousness of timelessness.  The illusion again is thinking this is all I am. Now let’s look at this through the eyes of the whole self, just because parts of my whole self is being expressed in time this doesn’t mean it’s no longer a part of me therefore an illusion.

We are obviously still looking at our whole self through the eyes of the severed hand otherwise we wouldn’t and couldn’t judge time as being just an illusion.

I had a recent vision of my whole conscious self within timelessness looking through a window observing my fragmented self in time, there is nothing unusual about this however, my fragmented conscious self within time was also observing my whole self within it’s timeless conscious state. For me this was an unusual vision.

Even though I was being the observer from both time and timeless states of consciousness, there was no separation except for the glass window. The glass window represented the separation of consciousness’s of time and timelessness that was all; they were still connected especially through the observation of each other.  Neither one nor the other seemed like an illusion to me.

We are trying to look through the window through this fragmented consciousness of time and observing our whole self thus judged time as being just of an illusion like the severed hand. What we haven’t learnt to do yet , at the same present moment, is observe ourselves from this non-fragmented consciousness of timelessness, in other words we are only looking at ourselves through one side of the window when there are two sides of the window to look and observe ourselves through. If this whole consciousness only existed within timelessness, we wouldn’t have a window but to me this window obviously does exist between this timeless state of consciousness and this consciousness of time.  The window doesn’t stop us from connecting or observing because through observing we connect.  We were never really disconnected but only through our non-observation of consciousness within time and timelessness because no matter what consciousness becomes it’s still consciousness.

Appendage: It would seem I need to express this differently, I will use the expression higher and lower self instead of consciousness of timelessness and time. The higher self is represented by the whole body and the lower self is represented by the severed hand, the severed hand being of ignorance to it’s higher self until it becomes aware of the higher self.

Higher self = the whole body + awareness + timeless consciousness
Lower self = the severed hand + ignorance + consciousness of time

The lower self is the hand which has been severed from the main whole body, this is represented by the human species consciousness which is usually ignorant to it’s higher self. When we only perceive through the hand, the lower self, the lower self thinks this is all I am, this is my whole self  until it becomes aware of it’s higher self, this is where the perception of the illusion comes into it. At this stage we are only looking at the higher self through the lower self’s awareness, the severed hand.

Now let’s look at this through the perspective of the higher self. The higher self is aware of our lower consciousness self which is represented by the severed hand, is this lower consciousness, like the severed hand, no longer a part of this whole consciousness because it’s fragmented or separated from the higher conscious self?  As the severed hand is to us, the lower consciousness is still a part of this higher consciousness, at the higher consciousness level the higher consciousness doesn’t perceive the lower consciousness as being an illusion but the lower consciousness does once it becomes aware of it’s higher self.  In my mind we really should be aware of this.

The present moment is in relation to timelessness, a consciousness of timelessness, how do we relate the present moment in a consciousness of time?  The concept of the present moment doesn’t work in time because time is about a past and future and not just about the present moment.  All of a sudden we have become aware of our higher self and realised that there is indeed a consciousness of just the present moment without a past or future, this is the consciousness of timelessness, our higher selves.  At this stage we are still just perceiving through our lower consciousness thus we have perceived that this higher self is our true selves which brings us to the conclusion that the lower self must be just an illusion.

Now the concept of the present moment doesn’t work in time so what we have done is judge that time must be an illusion for it to work, this concept is totally disregarding that all consciousness is connected and is one of the same no matter how fragmented the consciousness is especially in time, it’s still consciousness no matter how fragmented it becomes.  Now the higher self knows that the present moment only works in a consciousness of timelessness, our higher state of consciousness, it doesn’t judged one part of consciousness as being an illusion because it’s fragmented through time.  The lower also self needs to believe it’s an illusion because it’s of this higher self, this to me sounds slightly ego controlled.  The higher self on the other hand accepts it too is of a lower consciousness; it doesn’t have to egoistically believe that a more ignorant consciousness is an illusion.

We have now become aware of our higher selves, what I believe we need to do now is perceive through this higher self as well as the lower conscious self without judging the lower or higher self as being of a lesser value than the other, the higher self doesn’t judge this way at all, this is why I don’t like explaining myself by using higher and lower explanations.  There is no true higher or lower consciousness; one consciousness is just of time and the other of timelessness.
